On Equivariant Gromov--Witten Invariants of Resolved Conifold with Diagonal and Anti-Diagonal Actions

We propose two conjectural relationships between the equivariant Gromov-Witten invariants of the resolved conifold under diagonal and anti-diagonal actions and the Gromov-Witten invariants of $\mathbb{P}^1$, and verify their validity in genus zero approximation. We also provide evidences to support the validity of these relationships in genus one and genus two.

Reduction of the 2D Toda Hierarchy and Linear Hodge Integrals

We construct a certain reduction of the 2D Toda hierarchy and obtain a tau-symmetric Hamiltonian integrable hierarchy. This reduced integrable hierarchy controls the linear Hodge integrals in the way that one part of its flows yields the intermediate long wave hierarchy, and the remaining flows coincide with a certain limit of the flows of the fractional Volterra hierarchy which controls the special cubic Hodge integrals.

Tri-Hamiltonian Structure of the Ablowitz-Ladik Hierarchy

We construct a local tri-Hamiltonian structure of the Ablowitz-Ladik hierarchy, and compute the central invariants of the associated bihamiltonian structures. We show that the central invariants of one of the bihamiltonian structures are equal to 1/24, and the dispersionless limit of this bihamiltonian structure coincides with the one that is defined on the jet space of the Frobenius manifold associated with the Gromov-Witten invariants of local CP1. This result provides support for the validity of Brini's conjecture on the relation of these Gromov-Witten invariants with the Ablowitz-Ladik hierarchy.

Virasoro Constraints for Drinfeld-Sokolov hierarchies and equations of Painlevé type

We construct a tau cover of the generalized Drinfeld-Sokolov hierarchy associated to an arbitrary affine Kac-Moody algebra with gradations $\mathrm{s}\le\mathds{1}$ and derive its Virasoro symmetries. By imposing the Virasoro constraints we obtain solutions of the Drinfeld-Sokolov hierarchy of Witten-Kontsevich and of Brezin-Gross-Witten types, and of those characterized by certain ordinary differential equations of Painlevé type. We also show the existence of affine Weyl group actions on solutions of such Painlevé type equations, which generalizes the theory of Noumi and Yamada on affine Weyl group symmetries of the Painlevé type equations.

BCFG Drinfeld-Sokolov Hierarchies and FJRW-Theory

According to the ADE Witten conjecture, which is proved by Fan, Jarvis and Ruan, the total descendant potential of the FJRW invariants of an ADE singularity is a tau function of the corresponding mirror ADE Drinfeld-Sokolov hierarchy. In the present paper, we show that there is a finite group $Γ$ acting on a certain ADE singularity which induces an action on the corresponding FJRW-theory, and the $Γ$-invariant sector also satisfies the axioms of a cohomological field theory except the gluing loop axiom. On the other hand, we show that there is also a $Γ$-action on the mirror Drinfeld-Sokolov hierarchy, and the $Γ$-invariant flows yield the BCFG Drinfeld-Sokolov hierarchy. We prove that the total descendant potential of the $Γ$-invariant sector of a FJRW-theory is a tau function of the corresponding BCFG Drinfeld-Sokolov hierarchy.

Hodge integrals and tau-symmetric integrable hierarchies of Hamiltonian evolutionary PDEs

For an arbitrary semisimple Frobenius manifold we construct Hodge integrable hierarchy of Hamiltonian partial differential equations. In the particular case of quantum cohomology the tau-function of a solution to the hierarchy generates the intersection numbers of the Gromov--Witten classes and their descendents along with the characteristic classes of Hodge bundles on the moduli spaces of stable maps. For the one-dimensional Frobenius manifold the Hodge hierarchy is a deformation of the Korteweg--de Vries hierarchy depending on an infinite number of parameters. Conjecturally this hierarchy is a universal object in the class of scalar Hamiltonian integrable hierarchies possessing tau-functions.

Bihamiltonian Cohomologies and Integrable Hierarchies I: A Special Case

We present some general results on properties of the bihamiltonian cohomologies associated to bihamiltonian structures of hydrodynamic type, and compute the third cohomology for the bihamiltonian structure of the dispersionless KdV hierarchy. The result of the computation enables us to prove the existence of bihamiltonian deformations of the dispersionless KdV hierarchy starting from any of its infinitesimal deformations.

On the Genus Two Free Energies for Semisimple Frobenius Manifolds

We represent the genus two free energy of an arbitrary semisimple Frobenius manifold as a sum of contributions associated with dual graphs of certain stable algebraic curves of genus two plus the so-called "genus two G-function". Conjecturally the genus two G-function vanishes for a series of important examples of Frobenius manifolds associated with simple singularities as well as for ${\bf P}^1$-orbifolds with positive Euler characteristics. We explain the reasons for such Conjecture and prove it in certain particular cases.

Proof of a Conjecture on the Genus Two Free Energy Associated to the A_n Singularity

In a recent paper [8], it is proved that the genus two free energy of an arbitrary semisimple Frobenius manifold can be represented as a sum of contributions associated with dual graphs of certain stable algebraic curves of genus two plus the so called genus two G-function, and for a certain class of Frobenius manifolds it is conjectured that the associated genus two G-function vanishes. In this paper, we prove this conjecture for the Frobenius manifolds associated with simple singularities of type A.

The Inversion Symmetry of the WDVV Equations and Tau Functions

For two solutions of the WDVV equations that are related by the inversion symmetry, we show that the associated principal hierarchies of integrable systems are related by a reciprocal transformation, and the tau functions of the hierarchies are related by a Legendre type transformation. We also consider relationships between the Virasoro constraints and the topological deformations of the principal hierarchies.

Uniqueness Theorem of W-Constraints for Simple Singularities

In a recent paper [3], Bakalov and Milanov proved that the total descendant potential of a simple singularity satisfies the W-constraints, which come from the W-algebra of the lattice vertex algebra associated to the root lattice of this singularity and a twisted module of this vertex algebra. In the present paper, we prove that the solution of these W-constraints is unique up to a constant factor, as conjectured by Bakalov and Milanov in their paper.
