We prove several singular value inequalities for sum and product of compact operators in Hilbert space. Some of our results generalize the previous inequalities for operators. Also, applications of some inequalities are given.
In this paper we establish a Hermite- Hadamard type inequality for operator preinvex functions and an estimate of the right hand side of a Hermite- Hadamard type inequality in which some operator preinvex functions of selfadjoint operators in Hilbert spaces are involved.
By the help of power series f we can naturally construct another power series that has as coefficients the absolute values of the coefficients of f. Utilising these functions we prove some inequalities for the spectral radius of the bounded linear operator f(T) on a complex Hilbert space and some functions of its norm. The case of two commuting operators is also investigated.
Regarding the generalizations of the Bessel inequality in Hilbert spaces which are due to Bombiari and Boas--Bellman, we obtain a version of the Bessel inequality and some generalizations of this inequality in the framework of Hilbert $C^*$-modules.
