We describe the diagonal reduction algebra D(gl(n)) of the Lie algebra gl(n) in the R-matrix formalism. As a byproduct we present two families of central elements and the braided bialgebra structure of D(gl(n)).
We describe, in terms of generators and relations, the reduction algebra, related to the diagonal embedding of the Lie algebra $\gl_n$ into $\gl_n\oplus\gl_n$. Its representation theory is related to the theory of decompositions of tensor products of $\gl_n$-modules.
We establish the absence of zero divisors in the reduction algebra of a Lie algebra g with respect to its reductive Lie sub-algebra k. The class of reduction algebras include the Lie algebras (they arise when k is trivial) and the Gelfand--Kirillov conjecture extends naturally to the reduction algebras. We formulate the conjecture for the diagonal reduction algebras of sl type and verify it on a simplest example.
We consider universal off-shell Bethe vectors given in terms of Drinfeld realization of the algebra $U_q(\widehat{gl}_N)$ [arXiv:math/0610517,arXiv:0711.2819]. We investigate ordering properties of the product of the transfer matrix and these vectors. We derive that these vectors are eigenvectors of the transfer matrix if their Bethe parameters satisfy the universal Bethe equations [arXiv:math-ph/0512037].
This is a brief overview of researches of Dmitry Petrovich Zhelobenko (1934--2006). He is the best known for his book "Compact Lie groups and their representations" and for the classification of all irreducible representations of complex semisimple Lie groups. We tell also on other his works, especially on the spectral analysis of representations.
We construct a family of automorphisms of Mickelsson algebra, satisfying braid group relations. The construction uses 'Zhelobenko cocycle' and includes the dynamical Weyl group action as a particular case.
