Hadronic molecule interpretation of $T^+_{cc}$ and its beauty-partners

Motivated by the latest discovery of a new tetraquark $T_{cc}^+$ with two charm quarks and two light antiquarks by LHCb Collaboration, we investigated the $DD^*$ hadronic molecule interpretation of $T_{cc}^+$. By calculation, the mass and the decay width of this new structure $T_{cc}^+$ can be understood in one-meson exchange potential model. The binding energies for these $DD^*$ hadronic molecules with $J^P=1^+$ are around $1MeV$. Besides, we also studied the possible beauty-partners $T_{bb}(10598)$ of hadronic molecule $T^+_{cc}$, which may be feasible in future LHCb experiments.

Inclusive approach to hunt for the beauty-charmed baryons $Ξ_{bc}$

With a distinctive internal structure from all established hadrons, the beauty-charmed baryons $Ξ_{bc}$ can provide us with new points of view to decipher the strong interaction. In this work, we point out that the inclusive $Ξ_{bc} \to Ξ_{cc}^{++}+X$ decay is a golden channel for the experimental discovery of $Ξ_{bc}$ at the LHC. A unique feature of this process is that the $Ξ_{cc}^{++}$ is displaced, which greatly reduces the combinatorial background. A feasibility analysis is performed on the $Ξ_{bc}^+$ search, which is expected to have a longer lifetime than $Ξ_{bc}^0$ and thus a better displacement resolution. The $Ξ_{bc}^+ \to Ξ_{cc}^{++}+X$ branching ratio is calculated within the heavy diquark effective theory. Combining the $Ξ_{bc}$ production rate and the $Ξ_{cc}^{++}$ detection efficiency, we anticipate that hundreds of signal events will be collected during LHCb Run 3.

Next-to-leading order QCD calculation of $B_c$ to charmonium tensor form factors

We present a next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD corrections to $B_c\to η_c$ and $B_c\to J/ψ$ tensor form factors within nonrelativistic QCD (NRQCD) framework. The full analytical results for $B_c$ to S-wave charmonium tensor form factors are obtained. We also studied the asymptotic behaviours of tensor form factors in hierarchy heavy quark limit, i.e. $m_b\to\infty,~ m_c\to\infty, ~\mathrm{and }~m_c/m_b\to0$. A compact expression for tensor form factors are given analytically in the hierarchy heavy quark limit. The relation among different form factors is also analyzed especially at large momentum recoil point. The numerical results for the $B_c$ to charmonium tensor form factors in all the physical region are given in the end.

Next-to-next-to-leading order matching of beauty-charmed meson $B_{c}$ and $B^*_{c}$ decay constants

We present the next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) QCD corrections to the decay constants for both the pseudoscalar and vector beauty-charmed mesons $B_{c}$ and $B^*_{c}$ in nonrelativistic QCD effective theory. Explicit NNLO calculation verified that the $B_c$ decay constant from pseudoscalar current is identical with the $B_c$ decay constant from axial-vector current. The NNLO result for the vector decay constant of $B^*_{c}$ meson is novel. Combined with the latest extraction of nonrelativistic QCD long-distance matrix elements of $B_c$ meson, we give the branching ratios of leptonic decays of $B_{c}$ and $B^*_{c}$ mesons. In addition, the novel anomalous dimension for the flavor-changing heavy quark vector current in nonrelativistic QCD effective theory are helpful to investigate the threshold behaviours of two different heavy quarks.

Next-to-next-to-leading order corrections to quark Quasi parton distribution functions

We present the next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) calculation of quark quasi parton distribution functions (PDFs) in the large momentum effective theory. The nontrivial factorization at this order is established explicitly and the full analytic matching coefficients between the quasi distribution and the lightcone distribution are derived. We demonstrate that the NNLO numerical contributions can improve the behavior of the extracted PDFs sizably. With the unprecedented precision study of nucleon tomography at the planned electron-ion collider, high precision Lattice QCD simulations with our NNLO results implemented will enable to test the QCD theory and more precise results on the PDFs of nucleons will be obtained.

Quasi parton distribution functions at NNLO: flavor non-diagonal quark contributions

We present a next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) calculation of the quasi parton distribution functions (Quasi-PDFs) in the large momentum effective theory (LaMET). We focus on the flavor non-diagonal quark-quark channel and demonstrate the LaMET factorization at the NNLO accuracy in the modified minimal subtraction scheme. The matching coefficient between the quasi-PDF and the light-cone PDF is derived. This provides a first step towards a complete NNLO analysis of quasi-PDFs and to better understand the nucleon structures from the first principle of QCD.

Can $X(5568)$ be a tetraquark state?

Very recently, the D0 collaboration has reported the observation of a narrow structure, $X(5568)$, in the decay process $X(5568)\to B^0_sπ^\pm$ using the 10.4${\rm fb}^{-1}$ data of $p\bar p$ collision at $\sqrt s= 1.96$ TeV. This structure is of great interest since it is the first hadronic state with four different valence quark flavors, $b,s,u,d$. In this work, we investigate tetraquarks with four different quark flavors. Based on the diquark-antidiquark scheme, we study the spectroscopy of the tetraquarks with one heavy bottom/charm quark and three light quarks. We find that the lowest-lying S-wave state, a tetraquark with the flavor $[su][\bar b\bar d ]$ and the spin-parity $J^P=0^+$, is about 150 MeV higher than the $X(5568)$. Further detailed experimental and theoretical studies of the spectrum, production and decays of tetraquark states with four different flavors in the future are severely needed towards a better understanding its nature and the classification of hadron exotic states.

Hidden charm octet tetraquarks from a diquark-antidiquark model

Four exotic charmonium-like states, i.e. $X(4140)$, $X(4274)$, $X(4500)$, and $X(4700)$, have been observed very recently by LHCb Collaboration in the decay process $B^+\to J/ψϕK^+$ using the 3${\rm fb}^{-1}$ data of $p\bar p$ collision at $\sqrt s= 7$ and $8$ TeV. In this paper, we investigate systematically the properties of hidden charm tetraquark states. The hidden charm tetraquarks form an octet configuration and a singlet configuration according to flavor $SU(3)$ symmetry. Based on a diquark-antidiquark model, the hidden charm tetraquarks spectra are given. The previous XYZ exotic states altogether with the newly ones $X(4140)$, $X(4274)$, $X(4500)$, and $X(4700)$, can be well classified into certain representations. The spin-parities and masses of the XYZ are predicted, most of which are in agreement with the data. We particularly find that $Z_c(4430)$ may be treated as the first radial excitation of $Z_c(3900)$, while the $Y(1^{--})$ states can be obtained by the first orbital excitation of the $X/Z$ states. Besides, we calculate the decay widths of the hidden charm tetraquarks into two charmed mesons. This work gives a general tetraquark description for the XYZ states, which is helpful to uncover their inner structures.

Pentaquark states in a diquark-triquark model

The diquark-triquark model is used to explain charmonium-pentaquark states, i.e., $P_c(4380)$ and $P_c(4450)$, which were observed recently by the LHCb collaboration. For the first time, we investigate the properties of the color attractive configuration of a triquark and we define a nonlocal light cone distribution amplitude for pentaquark states, where both diquark and triquark are not pointlike, but they have nonzero size. We establish an effective diquark-triquark Hamiltonian based on spin-orbital interaction. According to the Hamiltonian, we show that the minimum mass splitting between $\frac{5}{2}^+$ and $\frac{3}{2}^-$ is around $100$~MeV, which may naturally solve the challenging problem of small mass splitting between $P_c(4450)$ and $P_c(4380)$. This helps to understand the peculiarities of $P_c(4380)$ with a broad decay width whereas $P_c(4450)$ has a narrow decay width. Based on the diquark-triquark model, we predict more pentaquark states, which will hopefully be measured in future experiments.

Factorization for radiative heavy quarkonium decays into scalar Glueball

We establish the factorization formula for scalar Glueball production through radiative decays of vector states of heavy quarkonia, e.g. $J/ψ$, $ψ(2S)$ and $Υ(nS)$, where the Glueball mass is much less than the parent heavy quarkonium mass. The factorization is demonstrated explicitly at one-loop level through the next-to-leading order (NLO) corrections to the hard kernel, the non-relativistic QCD (NRQCD) long-distance matrix element (LDMEs) of the heavy quarkonium, and the light-cone distribution amplitude (LCDA) of scalar Glueball. The factorization provides a comprehensive theoretical approach to investigate Glueball production in the radiative decays of vector states of heavy quarkonia and to determine the physic nature of Glueball. We discuss the scale evolution equation of LCDA for scalar Glueball. In the end, we extract the value of the decay constant of Scalar Glueball from Lattice QCD calculation and analyze the mixing effect among $f_0(1370)$, $f_0(1500)$ and $f_0(1710)$.

The Exclusive Decay of Upsilon into $h_c$, the $X(3940)$ and $X(4160)$

In this paper, we study double charmonia production in Upsilon peaks, especially, a S-wave charmonium $η_c$ and a P-wave charmonium $h_c(^1P_1)$, or a S-wave charmonium $J/ψ$ and the $X(3940)$ and $X(4160)$ within the nonrelativistic QCD (NRQCD) approach which is a powerful tool to realize the factorization of double charmonia production in electron-positron annihilation. The $J^{PC}=1^{--}$ state $Υ(nS)$ can provide an ideal laboratory for studying the properties of double-heavy quarkonium and also can separate the perturbative and nonperturbative parts due to the large heavy quark mass compared with the typical hadron scale $Λ_{QCD}$. Explanation of the $X(3940)$ and $X(4160)$ as the $3 ^1S_0$ and $4 ^1S_0$ states, respectively, are compatible with the observed upper limits for the branching fractions of $Υ(1S,2S)\to J/ψ+X$, where $X=X(3940)$, $X(4160)$ by the Belle Collaboration. The branching fractions of $Υ(1S,2S,3S)\to η_c+h_c(^1P_1)$ are predicted to be around $10^{-6}$, which shall be tested in Belle-II experiments.

Low Transverse Momentum Heavy Quark Pair Production to Probe Gluon Tomography

We derive the transverse momentum dependent (TMD) factorization for heavy quark pair production in deep inelastic scattering, where the total transverse momentum is much smaller than the invariant mass of the pair. The factorization is demonstrated at one-loop order, in both Ji-Ma-Yuan and Collins-11 schemes for the TMD definitions, and the hard factors are calculated accordingly. Our result provides a solid theoretical foundation for the phenomenological investigations of the gluon TMDs in this process, and can be extended to other similar hard processes, including dijet (di-hadron) production in DIS.
