Adjoint orbits in the Lie algebra of the generalized real orthogonal group
Let $(V,γ)$ be a real finite dimensional vector space with a symmetric bilinear form $γ$ whose kernel is spanned by a nonzero vector. The set of invertible real linear mappings of $(V, γ)$ into itself forms a Lie group called the generalized orthogonal group. This paper finds a unique representative for each orbit of the adjoint action of the generalized orthogonal group on its Lie algebra.

Normalization and reduction of the Stark Hamiltonian
This paper details a calculation of the second order normal form of the Stark effect Hamiltonian after regularization, using the Kustaanheimo- Stiefel mapping. After reduction we obtain an integrable two degree of freedom system on $S^2_h \times S^2_h$ , which we reduce again to obtain a one degree of freedom Hamiltonian system.

An affine model of a Riemann surface associated to a Schwarz-Christoffel mapping
In this paper we construct an affine model of a Riemann surface with a flat Riemannian metric associated to a Schwarz-Christoffel mapping of the upper half plane onto a rational triangle. We explain the relation between the geodesics on this Riemann surface and billiard motions in a regular stellated $n$-gon in the complex plane.

Shifting operators in geometric quantization
In a series of papers on Bohr-Sommerfeld-Heisenberg quantization of completely integrable systems we interpreted shifting operators as quantization of functions ${\mathrm{e}}^{ \pm iθ_j}$ , where $(I_j , θ_j )$ are action angle coordinates. The aim of this paper is to show how these operators occur in geometric quantization.

The uniform normal form of a linear mapping
Let $V$ be a finite dimensional vector space over a field $\mathrm{k}$ of characteristic $0$. Let $A$ be a linear mapping of $V$ into itself. This paper gives a normal form for $A$, which gives a better description of the structure of $A$ than the companion matrix. The computation of this normal form uses only operations from $\mathrm{k}$ and does not require finding roots of any polynomial.

Bohr-Sommerfeld-Heisenberg Theory in Geometric Quantization
In the framework of geometric quantization we extend the Bohr-Sommerfeld rules to a full quantization theory which resembles Heisenberg's matrix theory. This extension is possible because Bohr-Sommerfeld rules not only provide an orthogonal basis in the space of quantum states, but also give a lattice structure to this basis. This permits the definition of appropriate shifting operators. As examples, we discuss the 1-dimensional harmonic oscillator and the coadjoint orbits of the rotation group.
