$T\bar T$ Deformations through BRST Symmetry

We study the $T\bar T$ deformation using its formulation as a CFT coupled to two-dimensional dynamical gravity. Working within the BRST formalism, we apply the intertwiner construction of arXiv:2411.08865 to obtain a unitary "dressing" map between undeformed CFT operators and elements of the BRST cohomology of the deformed theory. We identify the resulting "dressed" operators corresponding to CFT primaries as the physical observables of the deformed theory and show that they arise from a field-dependent change of coordinates, in agreement with what is expected for the $T\bar T$ deformation. We then give a non-perturbative definition of deformed correlation functions as BRST-invariant expectation values of dressed operators in the gauge theory. Finally, we verify that our construction reproduces known structural and perturbative results.

Hodge Dualities on Supermanifolds

We discuss the cohomology of superforms and integral forms from a new perspective based on a recently proposed Hodge dual operator. We show how the superspace constraints (a.k.a. rheonomic parametrisation) are translated from the space of superforms $Ω^{(p|0)}$ to the space of integral forms $Ω^{(p|m)}$ where $0 \leq p \leq n$, $n$ is the bosonic dimension of the supermanifold and $m$ its fermionic dimension. We dwell on the relation between supermanifolds with non-trivial curvature and Ramond-Ramond fields, for which the Laplace-Beltrami differential, constructed with our Hodge dual, is an essential ingredient. We discuss the definition of Picture Lowering and Picture Raising Operators (acting on the space of superforms and on the space of integral forms) and their relation with the cohomology. We construct non-abelian curvatures for gauge connections in the space $Ω^{(1|m)}$ and finally discuss Hodge dual fields within the present framework.

Pure Spinor Integration from the Collating Formula

We use the technique developed by Becchi and Imbimbo to construct a well-defined BRST-invariant path integral formulation of pure spinor amplitudes. The space of pure spinors can be viewed from the algebraic geometry point of view as a collection of open sets where the constraints can be solved and a free independent set of variables can be defined. On the intersections of those open sets, the functional measure jumps and one has to add boundary terms to construct a well-defined path integral. The result is the definition of the pure spinor integration measure constructed in term of differential forms on each single patch.

Quantum Computing with Superqubits

We analyze some aspects of quantum computing with super-qubits (squbits). We propose the analogue of a superfield formalism, and give a physical interpretation for the Grassmann coefficients in the squbit expansion as fermionic creation operators of an auxiliary quantum system. In the simplest case the squbit is a superposition of one Bose X Bose and one Fermi X Fermi state, and its norm is invariant under a U(2) group realized with Clifford-valued matrices. This case can be generalized to a superposition of n_B bosonic and n_F fermionic states, with a norm invariant under U(n_B + n_F). Entanglement between squbits, super quantum gates and teleportation are discussed.

Simplifying superstring and D-brane actions in AdS(4) x CP(3) superbackground

By making an appropriate choice for gauge fixing kappa-symmetry we obtain a relatively simple form of the actions for a D=11 superparticle in AdS(4) x S(7)/Z_k, and for a D0-brane, fundamental string and D2-branes in the AdS(4) x CP(3) superbackground. They can be used to study various problems of string theory and the AdS4/CFT3 correspondence, especially in regions of the theory which are not reachable by the OSp(6|4)/U(3) x SO(1,3) supercoset sigma-model. In particular, we present a simple form of the gauge-fixed superstring action in AdS(4) x CP(3) and briefly discuss issues of its T-dualization.

Exploring Pure Spinor String Theory on AdS_4 x CP^3

In this paper we formulate the pure spinor superstring theory on AdS_4 x CP^3. By recasting the pure spinor action as a topological A-model on the fermionic supercoset Osp(6|4)/SO(6)xSp(4) plus a BRST exact term, we prove the exactness of the sigma-model. We then give a gauged linear sigma-model which reduces to the superstring in the limit of large volume and we study its branch geometry in different phases. Moreover, we discuss possible D-brane boundary conditions and the principal chiral model for the fermionic supercoset.

Pure Spinor Formalism for Osp(N|4) backgrounds

We start from the Maurer-Cartan (MC) equations of the Osp(N|4) superalgebras satisfied by the left-invariant super-forms realized on supercoset manifolds of the corresponding supergroups and we derive some new pure spinor constraints. They are obtained by "ghostifying" the MC forms and extending the differential d to a BRST differential. From the superalgebras G =Osp(N|4) we single out different subalgebras H contained in G associated with the different cosets G/H: each choice of H leads to a different weakening of the pure spinor constraints. In each case, the number of parameter is counted and we show that in the cases of Osp(6|4)/U(3) x SO(1,3), Osp(4|4)/SO(3) x SO(1,3) and finally Osp(4|4) U(2)} x SO(1,3) the bosonic and fermionic degrees of freedom match in order to provide a c=0 superconformal field theory. We construct both the Green-Schwarz and the pure spinor sigma model for the case Osp(6|4)/U(3)x SO(1,3) corresponding to AdS_4 x P^3. The pure spinor sigma model can be consistently quantized.

Lattice QCD with a chirally twisted mass term

Lattice QCD with Wilson quarks and a chirally twisted mass term represents a promising alternative regularization of QCD, which does not suffer from unphysical fermion zero modes. We show how the correlation functions of the renormalized theory are related to the theory with a standard parameterization of the mass term. In particular we discuss the conditions under which these relations take the same form as obtained from naive continuum considerations. We discuss in detail some applications and comment on potential benefits and problems of this framework.

A local formulation of lattice QCD without unphysical fermion zero modes

The problem of unphysical zero modes in lattice QCD with Wilson fermions can be solved in a clean way by including a mass term proportional to $i \psibar γ_5 τ^3 ψ$ in the standard lattice theory with Nf=2 mass degenerate Wilson quarks. We argue that up to cutoff effects, this lattice theory is equivalent to standard lattice QCD, for suitable choices of the mass parameters and with a natural re-interpretation of observables. On-shell O(a) improvement can be implemented in a straightforward way.
