Perfect dyadic operators: weighted T(1) theorem and two weight estimates

Perfect dyadic operators were first introduced in \cite{AHMTT}, where a local $T(b)$ theorem was proved for such operators. In \cite{AY} it was shown that for every singular integral operator $T$ with locally bounded kernel on $\mathbb{R}^n \times \mathbb{R}^n$ there exists a perfect dyadic operator $\mathbb{T}$ such that $T -\mathbb{T}$ is bounded on $L^p (dx)$ for all $1<p<\infty$. In this paper we show a decomposition of perfect dyadic operators on real line into four well known operators: two selfadjoint operators, paraproduct and its adjoint. Based on this decomposition we prove a sharp weighted version of the $T(1)$ theorem for such operators, which implies $A_2$ conjecture for such operators with constant which only depends on $\|T(1)\|_{BMO^d}$, $\|T^*(1)\|_{BMO^d}$ and the constant in testing conditions for $T$. Moreover, the constant depends on these parameters at most linearly. In this paper we also obtain sufficient conditions for the two weight boundedness for a perfect dyadic operator and simplify these conditions under additional assumptions that weights are in the Muckenhoupt class $A_\infty^d$.

Continuity of halo functions associated to homothecy invariant density bases

Let $\mathcal{B}$ be a collection of open sets in $\mathbb{R}^{n}$ such that, for any $x \in \mathbb{R}^{n}$, there exists a set $U \in \mathcal{B}$ of arbitrarily small diameter {containing $x$.} $\mathcal{B}$ is said to be a \emph{density basis} provided that, given a measurable set $A \subset \mathbb{R}^{n}$, for a.e. $x \in \mathbb{R}^{n}$ we have $$\lim_{k \rightarrow \infty}\frac{1}{|R_{k}|}\int_{R_{k}}χ_{A} = χ_{A}(x)$$ holds for any sequence of sets $\{R_{k}\}$ in $\mathcal{B}$ containing $x$ whose diameters tend to 0. The geometric maximal operator $M_{\mathcal{B}}$ associated to $\mathcal{B}$ is defined on $L^{1}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ by $M_{\mathcal{B}}f(x) = \sup_{x \in R \in \mathcal{B}}\frac{1}{|R|}\int_{R}|f|$. The \emph{halo function} $ϕ$ of $\mathcal{B}$ is defined on $(1,\infty)$ by $$ϕ(u) = \sup \{\frac{1}{|A|}|\{x \in \mathbb{R}^{n} : M_{\mathcal{B}}χ_{A}(x) > \frac{1}{u}\}| : 0 < |A| < \infty\}\;$$ and on $[0,1]$ by $ϕ(u) = u$. It is shown that the halo function associated to any homothecy invariant density basis is a continuous function on $(1,\infty)$. However, an example of a homothecy invariant density basis is provided such that the associated halo function is not continuous at 1.

Linear bound for the dyadic paraproduct on weighted Lebesgue space $L_2(w)$

The dyadic paraproduct is bounded in weighted Lebesgue spaces $L_p(w)$ if and only if the weight $w$ belongs to the Muckenhoupt class $A_p^d$. However, the sharp bounds on the norm of the dyadic paraproduct are not known even in the simplest $L_2(w)$ case. In this paper we prove the linear bound on the norm of the dyadic paraproduct in the weighted Lebesgue space $L_2(w)$ using Bellman function techniques and extrapolate this result to the $L_p(w)$ case.
