Complexity and Near Extremal Charged Black Branes

We compute holographic complexity of charged black brane solutions in arbitrary dimensions for the near horizon limit of near extremal case using two different methods. The corresponding complexity may be obtained either by taking the limit from the complexity of the charged black brane, or by computing the complexity for near horizon limit of near extremal solution. One observes that these results coincide if one assumes to have a cutoff behind horizon whose value is fixed by UV cutoff and also taking into account a proper counterterm evaluated on this cutoff. We also consider the situation for Vaidya charged black branes too.

On the Complexity of a Charged Quantum Oscillator

In this paper, we study the effect of both the electric and the magnetic fields on the rate of complexity growth. Our system is a charged quantum oscillator and over a period of time, we study the maximum dynamic evolution of quantum states which might lead to a strong bound on the rate of computation. We show that by turning on the electric field, the rate of complexity decreases whereas this rate has increasing behavior when the magnetic field is turned on. In this regard, we also find a critical value of the magnetic field, beyond which this rate changes its behavior drastically.

Thermalization of Mutual Information in Hyperscaling Violating Backgrounds

We study certain features of scaling behaviors of the mutual information during a process of thermalization, more precisely we extend the time scaling behavior of mutual information which has been discussed in \cite{Alishahiha:2014jxa} to time-dependent hyperscaling violating geometries. We use the holographic description of entanglement entropy for two disjoint system consisting of two parallel strips whose widths are much larger than the separation between them. We show that during the thermalization process, the dynamical exponent plays a crucial rule in reading the general time scaling behavior of mutual information (\emph{e.g.,} at the pre-local-equilibration regime). It is shown that the scaling violating parameter can be employed to define an effective dimension.

On the Time Evolution of Holographic n-partite Information

We study various scaling behaviors of n-partite information during a process of thermalization after a global quantum quench for n disjoint system consisting of n parallel strips whose widths are much larger than the separation between them. By making use of the holographic description for entanglement entropy we explore holographic description of the n-partite information by which we show that it has a definite sign: it is positive for even n and negative for odd n. This might be thought of as an intrinsic property of a field theory which has gravity dual.
