Can complexity decrease in Congestive Heart failure?

The complexity of a signal can be measured by the Recurrence period density entropy (RPDE) from the reconstructed phase space. We have chosen a window based RPDE method for the classification of signals, as RPDE is an average entropic measure of the whole phase space. We have observed the changes in the complexity in cardiac signals of normal healthy person (NHP) and congestive heart failure patients (CHFP). The results show that the cardiac dynamics of a healthy subject is more complex and random compare to the same for a heart failure patient, whose dynamics is more deterministic. We have constructed a general threshold to distinguish the border line between a healthy and a congestive heart failure dynamics. The results may be useful for wide range for physiological and biomedical analysis.

A New Efficient Asymmetric Cryptosystem Based on the Integer Factorization Problem

A new asymmetric cryptosystem based on the Integer Factorization Problem is proposed. It posses an encryption and decryption speed of $O(n^2)$, thus making it the fastest asymmetric encryption scheme available. It has a simple mathematical structure. Thus, it would have low computational requirements and would enable communication devices with low computing power to deploy secure communication procedures efficiently.

A New Efficient Asymmetric Cryptosystem Based on the Square Root Problem

The square root modulo problem is a known primitive in designing an asymmetric cryptosystem. It was first attempted by Rabin. Decryption failure of the Rabin cryptosystem caused by the 4-to-1 decryption output is overcome efficiently in this work. The proposed scheme (known as the AA_β- cryptosystem) has its encryption speed having a complexity order faster than the Diffie-Hellman Key Exchange, El-Gammal, RSA and ECC. It can also transmit a larger data set securely when compared to existing asymmetric schemes. It has a simple mathematical structure. Thus, it would have low computational requirements and would enable communication devices with low computing power to deploy secure communication procedures efficiently.

Security Features of an Asymmetric Cryptosystem based on the Diophantine Equation Hard Problem

The Diophantine Equation Hard Problem (DEHP) is a potential cryptographic problem on the Diophantine equation $U=\sum \limits_{i=1}^n {V_i x_{i}}$. A proper implementation of DEHP would render an attacker to search for private parameters amongst the exponentially many solutions. However, an improper implementation would provide an attacker exponentially many choices to solve the DEHP. The AA\,$_β$-cryptosystem is an asymmetric cryptographic scheme that utilizes this concept together with the factorization problem of two large primes and is implemented only by using the multiplication operation for both encryption and decryption. With this simple mathematical structure, it would have low computational requirements and would enable communication devices with low computing power to deploy secure communication procedures efficiently.
