Hausdorff operators on holomorphic Hardy spaces and applications

The aim of this paper is to characterize the nonnegative functions $φ$ defined on $(0,\infty)$ for which the Hausdorff operator $$\mathscr H_φf(z)= \int_0^\infty f\left(\frac{z}{t}\right)\frac{φ(t)}{t}dt$$ is bounded on the Hardy spaces of the upper half-plane $\mathcal H_a^p(\mathbb C_+)$, $p\in[1,\infty]$. The corresponding operator norms and their applications are also given.

Atomic decomposition and weak factorization in generalized Hardy spaces of closed forms

We give an atomic decomposition of closed forms on R n , the coefficients of which belong to some Hardy space of Musielak-Orlicz type. These spaces are natural generalizations of weighted Hardy-Orlicz spaces, when the Orlicz function depends on the space variable. One of them, called H log , appears naturally when considering products of functions in the Hardy space H 1 and in BM O. As a main consequence of the atomic decomposition, we obtain a weak factorization of closed forms whose coefficients are in H log. Namely, a closed form in H log is the infinite sum of the wedge product between an exact form in the Hardy space H 1 and an exact form in BM O. The converse result, which generalizes the classical div-curl lemma, is a consequence of [4]. As a corollary, we prove that the real-valued H log space can be weakly factorized.

Bilinear Decompositions of Products of Hardy and Lipschitz Spaces Through Wavelets

The aim of this article is to give a complete solution to the problem of the bilinear decompositions of the products of some Hardy spaces $H^p(\mathbb{R}^n)$ and their duals in the case when $p<1$ and near to $1$, via wavelets, paraproducts and the theory of bilinear Calderón-Zygmund operators. Precisely, the authors establish the bilinear decompositions of the product spaces $H^p(\mathbb{R}^n)\times\dotΛ_α (\mathbb{R}^n)$ and $H^p(\mathbb{R}^n)\timesΛ_α(\mathbb{R}^n)$, where, for all $p\in(\frac{n}{n+1},\,1)$ and $α:=n(\frac{1}{p}-1)$, $H^p(\mathbb{R}^n)$ denotes the classical real Hardy space, and $\dotΛ_α$ and $Λ_α$ denote the homogeneous, respectively, the inhomogeneous Lipschitz spaces. Sharpness of these two bilinear decompositions are also proved. As an application, the authors establish some div-curl lemmas at the endpoint case.

An Hardy estimate for commutators of pseudo-differential operators

Let $T$ be a pseudo-differential operator whose symbol belongs to the Hörmander class $S^m_{ρ,δ}$ with $0\leq δ<1, 0< ρ\leq 1, δ\leq ρ$ and $-(n+1)< m \leq - (n+1)(1-ρ)$. In present paper, we prove that if $b$ is a locally integrable function satisfying $$\sup_{{\rm balls}\; B\subset \mathbb R^n} \frac{\log(e+ 1/|B|)}{(1+ |B|)^θ} \frac{1}{|B|}\int_{B} \Big|f(x)- \frac{1}{|B|}\int_{B} f(y) dy\Big|dx <\infty$$ for some $θ\in [0,\infty)$, then the commutator $[b,T]$ is bounded on the local Hardy space $h^1(\mathbb R^n)$ introduced by Goldberg \cite{Go}. As a consequence, when $ρ=1$ and $m=0$, we obtain an improvement of a recent result by Yang, Wang and Chen \cite{YWC}.

Endpoint estimates for commutators of singular integrals related to Schrödinger operators

Let $L= -Δ+ V$ be a Schrödinger operator on $\mathbb R^d$, $d\geq 3$, where $V$ is a nonnegative potential, $V\ne 0$, and belongs to the reverse Hölder class $RH_{d/2}$. In this paper, we study the commutators $[b,T]$ for $T$ in a class $\mathcal K_L$ of sublinear operators containing the fundamental operators in harmonic analysis related to $L$. More precisely, when $T\in \mathcal K_L$, we prove that there exists a bounded subbilinear operator $\mathfrak R= \mathfrak R_T: H^1_L(\mathbb R^d)\times BMO(\mathbb R^d)\to L^1(\mathbb R^d)$ such that $|T(\mathfrak S(f,b))|- \mathfrak R(f,b)\leq |[b,T](f)|\leq \mathfrak R(f,b) + |T(\mathfrak S(f,b))|$, where $\mathfrak S$ is a bounded bilinear operator from $H^1_L(\mathbb R^d)\times BMO(\mathbb R^d)$ into $L^1(\mathbb R^d)$ which does not depend on $T$. The subbilinear decomposition (\ref{abstract 1}) explains why commutators with the fundamental operators are of weak type $(H^1_L,L^1)$, and when a commutator $[b,T]$ is of strong type $(H^1_L,L^1)$. Also, we discuss the $H^1_L$-estimates for commutators of the Riesz transforms associated with the Schrödinger operator $L$.

New weighted multilinear operators and commutators of Hardy-Cesàro type

A general class of weighted multilinear Hardy-Cesàro operators that acts on the product of Lebesgue spaces and central Morrey spaces. Their sharp bounds are also obtained. In addition, we obtain sufficient and necessary conditions on weight functions so that the commutators of these weighted multilinear Hardy-Cesàro operators (with symbols in central BMO space) are bounded on the product of central Morrey spaces. These results extends known results on multilinear Hardy operators.

On the product of functions in $BMO$ and $H^1$ over spaces of homogeneous type

Let $\mathcal X$ be an RD-space, which means that $\mathcal X$ is a space of homogeneous type in the sense of Coifman-Weiss with the additional property that a reverse doubling property holds in $\mathcal X$. The aim of the present paper is to study the product of functions in $BMO$ and $H^1$ in this setting. Our results generalize some recent results in \cite{Feu} and \cite{LP}.

Weighted Endpoint Estimates for Commutators of Calderón-Zygmund Operators

Let $δ\in(0,1]$ and $T$ be a $δ$-Calderón-Zygmund operator. Let $w$ be in the Muckenhoupt class $A_{1+δ/n}({\mathbb R}^n)$ satisfying $\int_{{\mathbb R}^n}\frac {w(x)}{1+|x|^n}\,dx<\infty$. When $b\in{\rm BMO}(\mathbb R^n)$, it is well known that the commutator $[b, T]$ is not bounded from $H^1(\mathbb R^n)$ to $L^1(\mathbb R^n)$ if $b$ is not a constant function. In this article, the authors find out a proper subspace ${\mathop\mathcal{BMO}_w({\mathbb R}^n)}$ of $\mathop\mathrm{BMO}(\mathbb R^n)$ such that, if $b\in {\mathop\mathcal{BMO}_w({\mathbb R}^n)}$, then $[b,T]$ is bounded from the weighted Hardy space $H_w^1(\mathbb R^n)$ to the weighted Lebesgue space $L_w^1(\mathbb R^n)$. Conversely, if $b\in{\rm BMO}({\mathbb R}^n)$ and the commutators of the classical Riesz transforms $\{[b,R_j]\}_{j=1}^n$ are bounded from $H^1_w({\mathbb R}^n)$ into $L^1_w({\mathbb R}^n)$, then $b\in {\mathop\mathcal{BMO}_w({\mathbb R}^n)}$.

Bilinear decompositions for the product space $H^1_L\times BMO_L$

In this paper, we improve a recent result by Li and Peng on products of functions in $H_L^1(\bR^d)$ and $BMO_L(\bR^d)$, where $L=-Δ+V$ is a Schrödinger operator with $V$ satisfying an appropriate reverse Hölder inequality. More precisely, we prove that such products may be written as the sum of two continuous bilinear operators, one from $H_L^1(\bR^d)\times BMO_L(\bR^d) $ into $L^1(\bR^d)$, the other one from $H^1_L(\bR^d)\times BMO_L(\bR^d) $ into $H^{\log}(\bR^d)$, where the space $H^{\log}(\bR^d)$ is the set of distributions $f$ whose grand maximal function $\mathfrak Mf$ satisfies $$\int_{\mathbb R^d} \frac {|\mathfrak M f(x)|}{\log (e+ |\mathfrak Mf(x)|)+ \log(e+|x|)}dx <\infty.$$

Musielak-Orlicz-Hardy Spaces Associated with Operators Satisfying Reinforced Off-Diagonal Estimates

Let $\mathcal{X}$ be a metric space with doubling measure and $L$ a one-to-one operator of type $ω$ having a bounded $H_\infty$-functional calculus in $L^2(\mathcal{X})$ satisfying the reinforced $(p_L, q_L)$ off-diagonal estimates on balls, where $p_L\in[1,2)$ and $q_L\in(2,\infty]$. Let $φ:\,\mathcal{X}\times[0,\infty)\to[0,\infty)$ be a function such that $φ(x,\cdot)$ is an Orlicz function, $φ(\cdot,t)\in {\mathbb A}_{\infty}(\mathcal{X})$ (the class of uniformly Muckenhoupt weights), its uniformly critical upper type index $I(φ)\in(0,1]$ and $φ(\cdot,t)$ satisfies the uniformly reverse Hölder inequality of order $(q_L/I(φ))'$. In this paper, the authors introduce a Musielak-Orlicz-Hardy space $H_{φ,\,L}(\mathcal{X})$, via the Lusin-area function associated with $L$, and establish its molecular characterization. In particular, when $L$ is nonnegative self-adjoint and satisfies the Davies-Gaffney estimates, the atomic characterization of $H_{φ,\,L}(\mathcal{X})$ is also obtained. Furthermore, a sufficient condition for the equivalence between $H_{φ,\,L}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ and the classical Musielak-Orlicz-Hardy space $H_φ(\mathbb{R}^n)$ is given. Moreover, for the Musielak-Orlicz-Hardy space $H_{φ,\,L}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ associated with the second order elliptic operator in divergence form on $\rn$ or the Schrödinger operator $L:=-Δ+V$ with $0\le V\in L^1_{\mathrm{loc}}(\mathbb{R}^n)$, the authors further obtain its several equivalent characterizations in terms of various non-tangential and radial maximal functions; finally, the authors discuss the boundedness of the Riesz transform $\nabla L^{-1/2}$.

New Hardy spaces of Musielak-Orlicz type and boundedness of sublinear operators

We introduce a new class of Hardy spaces $H^{φ(\cdot,\cdot)}(\mathbb R^n)$, called Hardy spaces of Musielak-Orlicz type, which generalize the Hardy-Orlicz spaces of Janson and the weighted Hardy spaces of García-Cuerva, Strömberg, and Torchinsky. Here, $φ: \mathbb R^n\times [0,\infty)\to [0,\infty)$ is a function such that $φ(x,\cdot)$ is an Orlicz function and $φ(\cdot,t)$ is a Muckenhoupt $A_\infty$ weight. A function $f$ belongs to $H^{φ(\cdot,\cdot)}(\mathbb R^n)$ if and only if its maximal function $f^*$ is so that $x\mapsto φ(x,|f^*(x)|)$ is integrable. Such a space arises naturally for instance in the description of the product of functions in $H^1(\mathbb R^n)$ and $BMO(\mathbb R^n)$ respectively (see \cite{BGK}). We characterize these spaces via the grand maximal function and establish their atomic decomposition. We characterize also their dual spaces. The class of pointwise multipliers for $BMO(\mathbb R^n)$ characterized by Nakai and Yabuta can be seen as the dual of $L^1(\mathbb R^n)+ H^{\rm log}(\mathbb R^n)$ where $ H^{\rm log}(\mathbb R^n)$ is the Hardy space of Musielak-Orlicz type related to the Musielak-Orlicz function $θ(x,t)=\displaystyle\frac{t}{\log(e+|x|)+ \log(e+t)}$. Furthermore, under additional assumption on $φ(\cdot,\cdot)$ we prove that if $T$ is a sublinear operator and maps all atoms into uniformly bounded elements of a quasi-Banach space $\mathcal B$, then $T$ uniquely extends to a bounded sublinear operator from $H^{φ(\cdot,\cdot)}(\mathbb R^n)$ to $\mathcal B$. These results are new even for the classical Hardy-Orlicz spaces on $\mathbb R^n$.

A note on $H^p_w$-boundedness of Riesz transforms and $θ$-Calderón-Zygmund operators through molecular characterization

Let $0 < p \leq 1$ and $w$ in the Muckenhoupt class $A_1$. Recently, by using the weighted atomic decomposition and molecular characterization; Lee, Lin and Yang \cite{LLY} (J. Math. Anal. Appl. 301 (2005), 394--400) established that the Riesz transforms $R_j, j=1, 2,...,n$, are bounded on $H^p_w(\mathbb R^n)$. In this note we extend this to the general case of weight $w$ in the Muckenhoupt class $A_\infty$ through molecular characterization. One difficulty, which has not been taken care in \cite{LLY}, consists in passing from atoms to all functions in $H^p_w(\mathbb R^n)$. Furthermore, the $H^p_w$-boundedness of $θ$-Calderón-Zygmund operators are also given through molecular characterization and atomic decomposition.

Bilinear decompositions and commutators of singular integral operators

Let $b$ be a $BMO$-function. It is well-known that the linear commutator $[b, T]$ of a Calderón-Zygmund operator $T$ does not, in general, map continuously $H^1(\mathbb R^n)$ into $L^1(\mathbb R^n)$. However, Pérez showed that if $H^1(\mathbb R^n)$ is replaced by a suitable atomic subspace $\mathcal H^1_b(\mathbb R^n)$ then the commutator is continuous from $\mathcal H^1_b(\mathbb R^n)$ into $L^1(\mathbb R^n)$. In this paper, we find the largest subspace $H^1_b(\mathbb R^n)$ such that all commutators of Calderón-Zygmund operators are continuous from $H^1_b(\mathbb R^n)$ into $L^1(\mathbb R^n)$. Some equivalent characterizations of $H^1_b(\mathbb R^n)$ are also given. We also study the commutators $[b,T]$ for $T$ in a class $\mathcal K$ of sublinear operators containing almost all important operators in harmonic analysis. When $T$ is linear, we prove that there exists a bilinear operators $\mathfrak R= \mathfrak R_T$ mapping continuously $H^1(\mathbb R^n)\times BMO(\mathbb R^n)$ into $L^1(\mathbb R^n)$ such that for all $(f,b)\in H^1(\mathbb R^n)\times BMO(\mathbb R^n)$, we have \label{abstract 1} [b,T](f)= \mathfrak R(f,b) + T(\mathfrak S(f,b)), where $\mathfrak S$ is a bounded bilinear operator from $H^1(\mathbb R^n)\times BMO(\mathbb R^n)$ into $L^1(\mathbb R^n)$ which does not depend on $T$. In the particular case of $T$ a Calderón-Zygmund operator satisfying $T1=T^*1=0$ and $b$ in $BMO^{\rm log}(\mathbb R^n)$-- the generalized $\BMO$ type space that has been introduced by Nakai and Yabuta to characterize multipliers of $\BMO(\bR^n)$ --we prove that the commutator $[b,T]$ maps continuously $H^1_b(\mathbb R^n)$ into $h^1(\mathbb R^n)$. Also, if $b$ is in $BMO(\mathbb R^n)$ and $T^*1 = T^*b = 0$, then the commutator $[b, T]$ maps continuously $H^1_b (\mathbb R^n)$ into $H^1(\mathbb R^n)$. When $T$ is sublinear, we prove that there exists a bounded subbilinear operator $\mathfrak R= \mathfrak R_T: H^1(\mathbb R^n)\times BMO(\mathbb R^n)\to L^1(\mathbb R^n)$ such that for all $(f,b)\in H^1(\mathbb R^n)\times BMO(\mathbb R^n)$, we have \label{abstract 2} |T(\mathfrak S(f,b))|- \mathfrak R(f,b)\leq |[b,T](f)|\leq \mathfrak R(f,b) + |T(\mathfrak S(f,b))|. The bilinear decomposition (\ref{abstract 1}) and the subbilinear decomposition (\ref{abstract 2}) allow us to give a general overview of all known weak and strong $L^1$-estimates.

Paraproducts and Products of functions in $BMO(\mathbb R^n)$ and $H^1(\mathbb R^n)$ through wavelets

In this paper, we prove that the product (in the distribution sense) of two functions, which are respectively in $ \BMO(\bR^n)$ and $\H^1(\bR^n)$, may be written as the sum of two continuous bilinear operators, one from $\H^1(\bR^n)\times \BMO(\bR^n) $ into $L^1(\bR^n)$, the other one from $\H^1(\bR^n)\times \BMO(\bR^n) $ into a new kind of Hardy-Orlicz space denoted by $\H^{\log}(\bR^n)$. More precisely, the space $\H^{\log}(\bR^n)$ is the set of distributions $f$ whose grand maximal function $\mathcal Mf$ satisfies $$\int_{\mathbb R^n} \frac {|\mathcal M f(x)|}{\log(e+|x|) +\log (e+ |\mathcal Mf(x)|)}dx <\infty.$$ The two bilinear operators can be defined in terms of paraproducts. As a consequence, we find an endpoint estimate involving the space $\H^{\log}(\bR^n)$ for the $÷$-$\curl$ lemma.
