The compactness of the commutators of bilinear fractional integral operators and point-wise multiplication, acting on products of Lebesgue spaces, is characterized in terms of appropriate mean oscillation properties of their symbols. The compactness of the commutators when acting on product of weighted Lebesgue spaces is also studied.
In this paper we characterize BMO in terms of the boundedness of commutators of various bilinear singular integral operators with pointwise multiplication. In particular, we study commutators of a wide class of bilinear operators of convolution type, including bilinear Calderón-Zygmund operators and the bilinear fractional integral operators.
In this work we study boundedness of Littlewood-Paley-Stein square func- tions associated to multilinear operators. We prove weighted Lebesgue space bounds for square functions under relaxed regularity and cancellation conditions that are independent of weights, which is a new result even in the linear case. For a class of multilinear convolu- tion operators, we prove necessary and sufficient conditions for weighted Lebesgue space bounds. Using extrapolation theory, we extend weighted bounds in the multilinear setting for Lebesgue spaces with index smaller than one.
