APEX: Academic Poster Editing Agentic Expert

Designing academic posters is a labor-intensive process requiring the precise balance of high-density content and sophisticated layout. While existing paper-to-poster generation methods automate initial drafting, they are typically single-pass and non-interactive, often fail to align with complex, subjective user intent. To bridge this gap, we propose APEX (Academic Poster Editing agentic eXpert), the first agentic framework for interactive academic poster editing, supporting fine-grained control with robust multi-level API-based editing and a review-and-adjustment Mechanism. In addition, we introduce APEX-Bench, the first systematic benchmark comprising 514 academic poster editing instructions, categorized by a multi-dimensional taxonomy including operation type, difficulty, and abstraction level, constructed via reference-guided and reference-free strategies to ensure realism and diversity. We further establish a multi-dimensional VLM-as-a-judge evaluation protocol to assess instruction fulfillment, modification scope, and visual consistency & harmony. Experimental results demonstrate that APEX significantly outperforms baseline methods. Our implementation is available at https://github.com/Breesiu/APEX.

Properties of the ηqη_q leading-twist distribution amplitude and its effects to the B/D+→η(′)ℓ+νℓB/D^+ \toη^{(\prime)}\ell^+ ν_\ell decays

The η(′)η^{(\prime)}-mesons in the quark-flavor basis are mixtures of two mesonic states ∣ηq⟩=∣uˉu+dˉd⟩/2|η_{q}\rangle=|\bar u u+\bar d d\rangle/\sqrt 2 and ∣ηs⟩=∣sˉs⟩|η_{s}\rangle=|\bar s s\rangle. In the previous work, we have made a detailed study on the ηsη_{s} leading-twist distribution amplitude. As a sequential work, in the present paper, we fix the ηqη_q leading-twist distribution amplitude by using the light-cone harmonic oscillator model for its wave function and by using the QCD sum rules within the QCD background field to calculate its moments. The input parameters of ηqη_q leading-twist distribution amplitude ϕ2;ηqϕ_{2;η_q} at an initial scale μ0∼1μ_0\sim 1 GeV are then fixed by using those moments. The sum rules for the 0th0_{\rm th}-order moment can also be used to fix the magnitude of ηqη_q decay constant, which gives fηq=0.141±0.005f_{η_q}=0.141\pm0.005 GeV. As an application of the present derived ϕ2;ηqϕ_{2;η_q}, we calculate the transition form factors B(D)+→η(′)B(D)^+ \toη^{(\prime)} by using the QCD light-cone sum rules up to twist-4 accuracy and by including the next-to-leading order QCD corrections to the twist-2 part, and then fix the related CKM matrix element and the decay width for the semi-leptonic decays B(D)+→η(′)ℓ+νℓB(D)^+ \toη^{(\prime)}\ell^+ ν_\ell.

Bc→J/ψB_c \to J/ψ helicity form factors and the Bc+→J/ψ+(P,V,ℓ+νℓ)B_c^+ \to J/ψ+(P, V, \ell^+ ν_\ell) decays

In this paper, we calculate the Bc→J/ψB_c\to J/ψ helicity form factors (HFFs) up to twist-4 accuracy by using the light-cone sum rules (LCSR) approach. After extrapolating those HFFs to the physically allowable q2q^2 region, we investigate the Bc+B^+_c-meson two-body decays and semi-leptonic decays Bc+→J/ψ+(P,V,ℓ+νℓ)B_c^+ \to J/ψ+(P, V, \ell^+ ν_\ell) with P/VP/V stands for light pseudoscalar/vector meson, respectively. The branching fractions can be derived by using the CKM matrix element and the BcB_c lifetime from the Particle Data Group, and we obtain B(Bc+→J/ψπ+)=(0.136−0.002+0.002)%{\cal B}(B_c^+ \to J/ψπ^+)=(0.136^{+0.002}_{-0.002})\%, B(Bc+→J/ψK+)=(0.010−0.000+0.000)%{\cal B}(B_c^+ \to J/ψK^+)=(0.010^{+0.000}_{-0.000})\%, B(Bc+→J/ψρ+)=(0.768−0.033+0.029)%{\cal B}(B_c^+ \to J/ψρ^+) =(0.768^{+0.029}_{-0.033})\%, B(Bc+→J/ψK∗+)=(0.043−0.001+0.001)%{\cal B}(B_c^+ \to J/ψK^{\ast +})=(0.043^{+0.001}_{-0.001})\%, B(Bc+→J/ψμ+νμ)=(2.802−0.675+0.526)%{\cal B}(B_c^+ \to J/ψμ^+ν_μ)=(2.802^{+0.526}_{-0.675})\% and B(Bc+→J/ψτ+ντ)=(0.559−0.170+0.131)%{\cal B}(B_c^+ \to J/ψτ^+ν_τ)=(0.559^{+0.131}_{-0.170})\%. We then obtain Rπ+/μ+νμ=0.048−0.012+0.009{\cal R}_{π^+/μ^+ν_μ} = 0.048^{+ 0.009}_{-0.012} and RK+/π+=0.075−0.005+0.005{\cal R}_{K^+ / π^+} = 0.075^{+0.005}_{-0.005}, which agree with the LHCb measured value within 1σ1σ-error. We also obtain RJ/ψ=0.199−0.077+0.060{\cal R}_{J/ψ}=0.199^{+ 0.060}_{-0.077}, which like other theoretical predictions, is consistent with the LHCb measured value within 2σ2σ-error. Those imply that the HFFs under the LCSR approach are also applicable to the Bc+B^+_c meson two-body decays and semi-leptonic decays Bc+→J/ψ+(P,V,ℓ+νℓ)B_c^+ \to J/ψ+(P, V, \ell^+ ν_\ell), and the HFFs obtained by using LCSR in a new way implies that there may be new physics in the Bc→J/ψℓ+νℓB_c\to J/ψ\ell^+ ν_\ell semi-leptonic decays.

Class-Aware Contrastive Semi-Supervised Learning

Pseudo-label-based semi-supervised learning (SSL) has achieved great success on raw data utilization. However, its training procedure suffers from confirmation bias due to the noise contained in self-generated artificial labels. Moreover, the model's judgment becomes noisier in real-world applications with extensive out-of-distribution data. To address this issue, we propose a general method named Class-aware Contrastive Semi-Supervised Learning (CCSSL), which is a drop-in helper to improve the pseudo-label quality and enhance the model's robustness in the real-world setting. Rather than treating real-world data as a union set, our method separately handles reliable in-distribution data with class-wise clustering for blending into downstream tasks and noisy out-of-distribution data with image-wise contrastive for better generalization. Furthermore, by applying target re-weighting, we successfully emphasize clean label learning and simultaneously reduce noisy label learning. Despite its simplicity, our proposed CCSSL has significant performance improvements over the state-of-the-art SSL methods on the standard datasets CIFAR100 and STL10. On the real-world dataset Semi-iNat 2021, we improve FixMatch by 9.80% and CoMatch by 3.18%. Code is available https://github.com/TencentYoutuResearch/Classification-SemiCLS.

The ratio R(Ds)\mathcal{R}(D_s) for Bs→DsℓνℓB_s \to D_s \ellν_\ell by using the QCD light-cone sum rules within the framework of heavy quark effective field theory

In the paper, we study the Bs→DsB_s\to D_s transition form factors by using the light-cone sum rules within the framework of heavy quark effective field theory. We adopt a chiral current correlation function to do the calculation, the resultant transition form factors f+Bs→Ds(q2)f_+^{B_s\to D_s}(q^2) and f0Bs→Ds(q2)f_0^{B_s\to D_s}(q^2) are dominated by the contribution of DsD_s-meson leading-twist distribution amplitude, while the contributions from less certain DsD_s-meson twist-3 distribution amplitudes are greatly suppressed. At the largest recoil point, we obtain f+,0Bs→Ds(0)=0.533−0.094+0.112f_{+,0}^{B_s \to D_s}(0)=0.533^{+0.112}_{-0.094}. By further extrapolating the transition form factors into all the physically allowable q2q^2 region with the help of the zz-series parametrization approach, we calculate the branching fractions B(Bs→Dsℓ′νℓ′)\mathcal{B}(B_s \to D_s \ell^\prime ν_{\ell^\prime}) with (ℓ′=e,μ)(\ell^\prime= e,μ) and B(Bs→Dsτντ)\mathcal{B}(B_s \to D_s τν_τ), which gives R(Ds)=0.334±0.017\mathcal{R}(D_s)=0.334\pm 0.017.

η(′)η^{(\prime)}-meson twist-2 distribution amplitude within QCD sum rule approach and its application to the semi-leptonic decay Ds+→η(′)ℓ+νℓ D_s^+ \toη^{(\prime)}\ell^+ ν_\ell

In this paper, we make a detailed discussion on the ηη and η′η'-meson leading-twist light-cone distribution amplitude ϕ2;η(′)(u,μ)ϕ_{2;η^{(\prime)}}(u,μ) by using QCD sum rules approach under the background field theory. Taking both the non-perturbative condensates up to dimension-six and NLO QCD corrections to the perturbative part, its first three moments ⟨ξ2;η(′)n⟩∣μ0\langleξ^n_{2;η^{(\prime)}}\rangle|_{μ_0} with n=(2,4,6)n = (2,4,6) at initial scale μ0=1μ_0 = 1 GeV can be determined. e.g. ⟨ξ2;η2⟩∣μ0=0.231−0.013+0.010\langleξ_{2;η}^2\rangle|_{μ_0} =0.231_{-0.013}^{+0.010}, ⟨ξ2;η4⟩∣μ0=0.109−0.007+0.007\langleξ_{2;η}^4 \rangle|_{μ_0} =0.109_{-0.007}^{+0.007}, and ⟨ξ2;η6⟩∣μ0=0.066−0.006+0.006\langleξ_{2;η}^6 \rangle|_{μ_0} =0.066_{-0.006}^{+0.006} for ηη-meson, ⟨ξ2;η′2⟩∣μ0=0.211−0.017+0.015\langleξ_{2;η'}^2\rangle|_{μ_0} =0.211_{-0.017}^{+0.015}, ⟨ξ2;η′4⟩∣μ0=0.093−0.009+0.009\langleξ_{2;η'}^4 \rangle|_{μ_0} =0.093_{-0.009}^{+0.009}, and ⟨ξ2;η′6⟩∣μ0=0.054−0.008+0.008\langleξ_{2;η'}^6 \rangle|_{μ_0} =0.054_{-0.008}^{+0.008} for η′η'-meson. Next, we calculate Ds→η(′)D_s\toη^{(\prime)} TFFs f+η(′)(q2)f^{η^{(\prime)}}_+(q^2) within QCD light-cone sum rules approach up to NLO level. The values at large recoil region are f+η(0)=0.476−0.036+0.040f^η_+(0) = 0.476_{-0.036}^{+0.040} and f+η′(0)=0.544−0.042+0.046f^{η'}_+(0) = 0.544_{-0.042}^{+0.046}. After extrapolating TFFs to the allowable physical regions within the series expansion, we obtain the branching fractions of the semi-leptonic decay, i.e. Ds+→η(′)ℓ+νℓD_s^+\toη^{(\prime)}\ell^+ ν_\ell, i.e. B(Ds+→η(′)e+νe)=2.346−0.331+0.418(0.792−0.118+0.141)×10−2{\cal B}(D_s^+\toη^{(\prime)} e^+ν_e)=2.346_{-0.331}^{+0.418}(0.792_{-0.118}^{+0.141})\times10^{-2} and B(Ds+→η(′)μ+νμ)=2.320−0.327+0.413(0.773−0.115+0.138)×10−2{\cal B}(D_s^+\toη^{(\prime)} μ^+ν_μ)=2.320_{-0.327}^{+0.413}(0.773_{-0.115}^{+0.138})\times10^{-2} for ℓ=(e,μ)\ell = (e, μ) channels respectively. And in addition to that, the mixing angle for η−η′η-η' with φφ and ratio for the different decay channels Rη′/ηℓ{\cal R}_{η'/η}^\ell are given, which show good agreement with the recent BESIII measurements.

D→P(π,K)D \to P(π,K) helicity form factors within light-cone sum rule approach

In this paper, the D→P(π,K)D\to P(π, K) helicity form factors (HFFs) are studied by applying the QCD light-cone sum rule (LCSR) approach. The calculation accuracy is up to next-to-leading order (NLO) gluon radiation correction of twist-(2,3) distribution amplitude. The resultant HFFs at large recoil point are Pt,0π(0)=0.688−0.024+0.020{\cal P}_{t,0}^π(0) = 0.688^{+0.020}_{-0.024}, Pt,0K(0)=0.780−0.029+0.024{\cal P}_{t,0}^K(0)=0.780^{+0.024}_{-0.029}. In which, the contributions from three particles of the leading order (LO) are so small that can be safely neglected, and the maximal contribution of the NLO gluon radiation correction for Pt,0π,K(0){\cal P}_{t,0}^{π,K}(0) is less than 3%3\%. After extrapolating the LCSR predictions for these HFFs to whole q2q^2-region, we obtain the decay widths for semileptonic decay processes D→PℓνℓD\to P\ellν_\ell, which are consistent with BES-III collaboration predictions within errors. After considering the D+/D0D^{+}/D^{0}-meson lifetime, we give the branching fractions of D→PℓνℓD\to P\ellν_\ell with ℓ=e,μ\ell = e, μ, our predictions also agree with BES-III collaboration within errors, especially for D→πℓνℓD\to π\ellν_\ell decay process. Finally, we present the forward-backward asymmetry AFBℓ(q2){\cal A}_{\rm FB}^\ell(q^2) and lepton convexity parameter CFℓ(q2){\cal C}_F^\ell(q^2), and further calculate the mean value of these two observations ⟨AFBℓ⟩\langle{\cal A}_{\rm FB}^\ell\rangle and ⟨CFℓ⟩\langle{\cal C}_F^\ell\rangle, which may provide a way to test those HFFs in future experiments.

The D→ρD\to ρ semileptonic and radiative decays within the light-cone sum rules

The measured branching ratio of the DD meson semileptonic decay D→ρe+νeD \to ρe^+ ν_e, which is based on the 0.82 fb−10.82~{\rm fb^{-1}} CLEO data taken at the peak of ψ(3770)ψ(3770) resonance, disagrees with the traditional SVZ sum rules analysis by about three times. In the paper, we show that this discrepancy can be eliminated by applying the QCD light-cone sum rules (LCSR) approach to calculate the D→ρD\to ρ transition form factors A1,2(q2)A_{1,2}(q^2) and V(q2)V(q^2). After extrapolating the LCSR predictions of these TFFs to whole q2q^2-region, we obtain 1/∣Vcd∣2×Γ(D→ρeνe)=(55.45−9.41+13.34)×10−15 GeV1/|V_{\rm cd}|^2 \times Γ(D \to ρe ν_e) =(55.45^{+13.34}_{-9.41})\times 10^{-15}~{\rm GeV}. Using the CKM matrix element and the D0(D+)D^0(D^+) lifetime from the Particle Data Group, we obtain B(D0→ρ−e+νe)=(1.749−0.297+0.421±0.006)×10−3{\cal B} (D^0\to ρ^- e^+ ν_e) = (1.749^{+0.421}_{-0.297}\pm 0.006)\times 10^{-3} and B(D+→ρ0e+νe)=(2.217−0.376+0.534±0.015)×10−3{\cal B} (D^+ \to ρ^0 e^+ ν_e) = (2.217^{+0.534}_{-0.376}\pm 0.015)\times 10^{-3}, which agree with the CLEO measurements within errors. We also calculate the branching ratios of the two DD meson radiative processes and obtain B(D0→ρ0γ)=(1.744−0.704+0.598)×10−5{\cal B}(D^0\to ρ^0 γ)= (1.744^{+0.598}_{-0.704})\times 10^{-5} and B(D+→ρ+γ)=(5.034−0.958+0.939)×10−5{\cal B}(D^+ \to ρ^+ γ) = (5.034^{+0.939}_{-0.958})\times 10^{-5}, which also agree with the Belle measurements within errors. Thus we think the LCSR approach is applicable for dealing with the DD meson decays.
