$Ψ(2S)$ decay to $J/Ψ(1S)$ +2$π$ or $J/Ψ(1S)$ + $σ$ + 2$π$

The BES Collaboration has measured $Ψ(2S)$ decay to $J/Ψπ^+π^-$. Using the mixed hybrid theory for the $Ψ(2S)$ we estimate the decay to $J/Ψ(1S)$ + $σ$. Using the known $σ\rightarrow 2π$ coupling constant, we estimate the $Ψ(2S)$ to $J/Ψ(1S)$ + $2π$ decay rate and angular distribution. This is an extension of our previous research on $Ψ(2S)$ Decay to $J/Ψ(1S)$ +$σ$ + 2$π^o$, without the production of 2$π^o$, and with an estimate of the $σ\rightarrow π^+ + π^-$ transition.

Review of Dark Matter

In this review of Dark Matter we review dark matter as sterile neutrinos, fermions, with their present and possibly future detection via neutrino Oscillations. We review the creation of Dark Matter via interactions with the Dark Energy (quintesence) field. We also review bosons as dark matter, discussing a proposed search for dark photons. Since photons are vector bosons, if dark photons exist at least part of dark matter are vector bosons. Ongoing experimental detection of Dark Matter is reviewed.

Top Quark Mixed Hybrid Meson and the Quark-Gluon Plasma

Using the method of QCD Sum Rules we estimate the energy of lowest energy top quark meson state with a hybrid admixture. This new estimate uses the previous estimates of hybrid charmonium and upsilon states, but with the mass of the top quark mass being much greater than the charm and bottom quark masses. We discuss production of mixed hybrid top quark mesons and possible detection of the creation of the Quark-Gluon Plasma via Relativistic Heavy Ion Collisions.

Neutrino Oscillations With Two Sterile Neutrinos

This work estimates the probability of $μ$ to $e$ neutrino oscillation with two sterile neutrinos using a 5x5 U-matrix, an extension of the previous estimate with one sterile neutrino and a 4x4 U-matrix. The sterile neutrino-active neutrino mass differences and the mixing angles of the two sterile neutrinos with the three active neutrinos are taken from recent publications, and the oscillation probability for one sterile neutrino is compared to the previous estimate.

Regions of Applicability of Approximate Formulations of Neutrino Oscillations in Matter

We examine the reliability of the theoretical methods presently used for analysis and prediction of neutrino oscillation phenomena. Of particular interest are the limitations imposed by branch points when expansions in one of the small parameters of the Standard Neutrino Model (SNM) are made to obtain tractable results. Our evaluation compares the approximate oscillation probabilities for flavor-changing transitions in the $(ν_e , ν_μ)$ sector to exact results obtained from of a recently-developed exact analytical representation of neutrino oscillations in matter within the SNM. From our numerical comparisons, we are able to identify regions where the existing approaches can be improved to take full advantage of the higher quality data expected at future neutrino facilities.

Review of QCD, Quark-Gluon Plasma, Heavy Quark Hybrids, and Heavy Quark State production in p-p and A-A collisions

This is a review of the Quantum Chromodynamics Cosmological Phase Transitions, the Quark-Gluon Plasma, the production of heavy quark states via p-p collisions and RHIC (Relativistic Heavy Ion Collisions) using the mixed hybrid theory for the $Ψ(2S)$ and $Υ(3S)$ states; and the possible detection of the Quark-Gluon Plasma via heavy quark production using RHIC. Recent research on fragmentation for the production of D mesons is reviewed, as is future theoretical and experimental research on the Collins and Sivers fragmentation functions for pions produced in polarized p-p collisions.

D Production In p-p and d-Au Collisions

This is an extension of our previous work on $J/Ψ$, $Ψ'(2S)$, $Υ(nS)$ production in p-p and A-A collisions to the production of $D^+(c\bar{d}),D^o(c\bar{u})$, with the main new aspect being the fragmentation probability, $D_{c \rightarrow c\bar{q}}$, which has been calculated almost two decades ago. The rapidity cross sections for $D^+(c\bar{d}),D^o(c\bar{u})$ production from both p-p and d-AU collisions is estimated.

Neutrino Oscillations With Three Active and Three Sterile Neutrinos

This is an extension of estimates of the probability of $ν$ to $e$ neutrino oscillation with one sterile neutrino to three sterile neutrinos, using a 6x6 matrix. Since the mixing angle for only one sterile neutrino has been experimentally determined, we estimate the $ν$ to $e$ neutrino oscillation probability with different mixing angles for two of the sterile neutrinos.

Heavy-quark state production in A-A collisions at $\sqrt{s}$=200 GeV

We estimate differential rapidity cross sections for $J/Ψ$ and $Υ(1S)$ production via Cu-Cu and Au-Au collisions at RHIC, and the relative probabilities of $Ψ'(2S)$ to $J/Ψ$ production via p-p collisions using our recent theory of mixed heavy quark hybrids, in which the $Ψ'(2S)$ mesons have approximately equal normal $q\bar{q}$ and hybrid $q\bar{q}g$ components. We also estimate the relative probabilities of $Ψ'(2S)$ to $J/Ψ$ production via Cu-Cu and Au-Au collisions, which will be measured in future RHIC experiments. We also review production ratios of $Υ(2S)$ and $Υ(3S)$ to $Υ(1S)$ in comparison to recent experimental results. This is an extension of our recent work on p-p collisions for possible tests of the production of Quark-Gluon Plasma via A-A collisions at BNL-RHIC.

Neutrino Masses in a Neutrinosphere

The energies of neutrinos in a neutrinosphere, the dense matter created after the gravitational collapse of a massive star, are estimated. Cubic equations for energy eigenvalues of neutrinos are used, with the effective masses found by taking the neutrinos at rest in neutrinosphere matter. Large differences in the effective mass of some neutrino species in a neutrinosphere compared to vacuum are found.

Neutrino Oscillation in Matter and Parameters $s_{13},δ_{CP}$

We estimate the dependence of $ν_μ$ to $ν_{e}$ conversion on parameters $θ_{13}$ and $δ_{CP}$ for several experimental facilities studying neutrino oscillations. We use the S-Matrix theory to estimate $\bar{ν_e}$ disappearance and compare estimates based on an older theory being used to extract $θ_{13}$ from the Double Chooz, Daya Bay, and RENO data, to assist in extracting an accurate value for $θ_{13}$ from these projects. We use values of $θ_{13}$ within known limits, and estimate the dependence of $ν_μ$ - $ν_{e}$ CP violation (CPV) probability on $δ_{CP}$ in order to suggest new experiments to measure CPV for neutrinos moving in matter.

Prediction of Cosmological Constant $Λ$ In Veneziano Ghost Theory of QCD$^{*}$

Based on the Veneziano ghost theory of QCD, we estimate the cosmological constant $Λ$, which is related to the vacuum energy density, $ρ_Λ$, by $Λ= 8πG ρ_Λ$. In the recent Veneziano ghost theory $ρ_Λ$ is given by the absolute value of the product of the local quark condensate and quark current mass:$ρ_Λ = \frac{2N_{f}H}{m_{η'}}c |m_{q}<0|:\bar{q}q:|0>|$. By solving Dyson-Schwinger Equations for a dressed quark propagator, we found the local quark condensate $<0|:\bar{q}q:|0> \simeq -(235 MeV)^{3}$, the generally accepted value. The quark current mass is $m_{q} \simeq$ 4.0 Mev. This gives the same result for $ρ_Λ$ as found by previous authors, which is somewhat larger than the observed value. However, when we make use of the nonlocal quark condensate, $<0|:\bar{q}(x)q(0):|0>= g(x)<0|:\bar{q}q:|0>$, with g(x) estimated from our previous work, we find $Λ$ is in a good agreement with the observations.

Proposed TRV Measurement via L-nL Neutrino Oscillations

This is an extension of the L-2L experiment for measurement of time reversal violation (TRV) proposed in a recent publication. The main new aspects are taking into account the curvature of the earth's surface for long baseline neutrino beams, and recognizing that the matter effects disappear when the baseline is extended. A slight modification of the MINOS project, with a new detector at 2L, is proposed.

Sterile Neutrinos and Pulsar Velocities Revisited,

We calculate the momentum given to a proto neutron star during the first 10 seconds after temperature equilibrium is reached, using recent evidence of sterile neutrinos and a measurement of the mixing angle. This is a continuation of an earlier estimate with a wide range of possible mixing angles. Using the new mixing angle we find that sterile neutrinos can account for the observed pulsar velocities.

Sigma and Pion Decays of Mixed Heavy Hybrids

We estimate the relative branching ratio of $σ$ to 2$π$ for the decay of the $Ψ'(2S)$, which we have found to be a mixed charm and hybrid charmonium meson. The external field method and correlators from a previous calculation are used to estimate these decays. We find the $σ$ to 2$π$ branching ratio for $Ψ'(2S)$ to the $J/Ψ(1S)$ decay to be 0.98, in agreement with an experiment at IHEP-BES.

EWPT Nucleation With MSSM and Electromagnetic Field Creation

Using EW-MSSM field theory, so the EWPT is first order, we derive the equations of motion for the gauge fields. With an isospin ansatz we derive e.o.m. for the electrically charged W fields uncoupled from all other fields. These and the lepton currents serve as the current for the Maxwell-like e.o.m. for the electromagnetic field. The electromagnetic field arising during EWPT bubble nucleation without leptons is found. We then calculate the electron current contribution, which is seen to be quite large. This provides the basis for determinining the magnetic field created by EWPT bubble collisions, which could seed galactic and extra-galactic magnetic fields.

Nonzero Mean Squared Momentum of Quarks in the Non-Perturbative QCD Vacuum

The non-local vacuum condensates of QCD describe the distributions of quarks and gluons in the non-perturbative QCD vacuum. Physically, this means that vacuum quarks and gluons have nonzero mean-squared momentum, called virtuality. In this paper we study the quark virtuality which is given by the ratio of the local quark-gluon mixed vacuum condensate to the quark local vacuum condensate. The two vacuum condensates are obtained by solving Dyson-Schwinger Equations of a fully dressed quark propagator with an effective gluon propagator. Using our calculated condensates, we obtain the virtuality of quarks in the QCD vacuum state. Our numerical predictions differ from the other theoretical model calculations such as QCD sum rules, Lattice QCD and instanton models.

Pion Form Factor: Transition From Soft To Hard QCD

We have reexamined the elastic pion form factor over a broad range of momentum transfers with the mass evolution from current quark to constituent quark being taken into account. We have also studied the effect of Sudakov form factors, of anomalous quark magnetic moments and of alternative soft wave functions. Our calculation shows a power-law falloff from the present experimental values to near-asymptotic values in the few $GeV^{2}$ range.
