Microlensing effect of charged spherically symmetric wormhole

We systematically investigate the microlensing effect of charged spherically symmetric wormhole, where the light source is remote from the throat. Remarkably, there will be at most three images by considering the charge part. We study all situations including three images, two images, and one image, respectively. The numerical result shows that the range of total magnification is from $10^5$ to $10^{-2}$ depending on various metrics. In the case of three images, there will be two maximal values of magnification (a peak, and a gentle peak) when the contribution via mass is much less than that of charge. However, we cannot distinguish the case that forms three images or only one image as the total magnification is of order $10^5$. Finally, our theoretical investigation could shed new light on exploring the wormhole with the microlensing effect.

Cosmological Complexity in K-essence

We calculate the cosmological complexity under the framework of scalar curvature perturbations for a K-essence model with constant potential. In particular, the squeezed quantum states are defined by acting a two-mode squeezed operator which is characterized by squeezing parameters $r_k$ and $ϕ_k$ on vacuum state. The evolution of these squeezing parameters are governed by the $Schr\ddot{o}dinger$ equation, in which the Hamiltonian operator is derived from the cosmological perturbative action. With aid of the solutions of $r_k$ and $ϕ_k$, one can calculate the quantum circuit complexity between unsqueezed vacuum state and squeezed quantum states via the wave-function approach. One advantage of K-essence is that it allows us to explore the effects of varied sound speeds on evolution of cosmological complexity. Besides, this model also provides a way for us to distinguish the different cosmological phases by extracting some basic informations, like the scrambling time and Lyapunov exponent etc, from the evolution of cosmological complexity.

The running curvaton

Inspired by \cite{Jiang:2018uce}, we propose a similar curvaton mechanism whose realization occurs in preheating process, in which the effective mass is running (its potential consists of coupling part and exponential part whose contribution is subdominant comparing to the coupling part). The production of curvaton contains the cases of narrow resonance and broad resonances whose criteria comes via the spectral index of curvaton. Since the inflationary potential is chaotic inflation (quadratic potential), it could smoothly transit into the preheating process. Once the entropy perturbation transferred into curvature perturbation, we will use $δN$ formalism to investigate its validity. By neglecting the contribution of exponential potential of curvaton, we calculate power spectrum $P_ζ$ and non linear Non-Gaussian parameter $f_{NL}$. Our calculation analytically shows that these two observables are independent of potential of inflaton. Finally, as the curvaton almost decay (inflaton field vanishes), the exponential potential will be approaching a constant of order of cosmological constant, which may play a role of dark energy.

Charm-strange baryon strong decays in a chiral quark model

The strong decays of charm-strange baryons up to N=2 shell are studied in a chiral quark model. The theoretical predictions for the well determined charm-strange baryons, $Ξ_c^*(2645)$, $Ξ_c(2790)$ and $Ξ_c(2815)$, are in good agreement with the experimental data. This model is also extended to analyze the strong decays of the other newly observed charm-strange baryons $Ξ_c(2930)$, $Ξ_c(2980)$, $Ξ_c(3055)$, $Ξ_c(3080)$ and $Ξ_c(3123)$. Our predictions are given as follows. (i) $Ξ_c(2930)$ might be the first $P$-wave excitation of $Ξ_c'$ with $J^P=1/2^-$, favors the $|Ξ_c'\ ^2P_λ1/2^->$ or $|Ξ_c'\ ^4P_λ1/2^->$ state. (ii) $Ξ_c(2980)$ might correspond to two overlapping $P$-wave states $|Ξ_c'\ ^2P_ρ1/2^->$ and $|Ξ_c'\ ^2P_ρ3/2^->$, respectively. The $Ξ_c(2980)$ observed in the $Λ_c^+\bar{K}π$ final state is most likely to be the $|Ξ_c'\ ^2P_ρ1/2^->$ state, while the narrower resonance with a mass $m\simeq 2.97$ GeV observed in the $Ξ_c^*(2645)π$ channel favors to be assigned to the $|Ξ_c'\ ^2P_ρ3/2^->$ state. (iii) $Ξ_c(3080)$ favors to be classified as the $|Ξ_c\ S_{ρρ} 1/2^+>$ state, i.e., the first radial excitation (2S) of $Ξ_c$. (iv) $Ξ_c(3055)$ is most likely to be the first $D$-wave excitation of $Ξ_c$ with $J^P=3/2^+$, favors the $|Ξ_c\ ^2D_{λλ} 3/2^+>$ state. (v) $Ξ_c(3123)$ might be assigned to the $|Ξ_c'\ ^4D_{λλ} 3/2^+>$, $|Ξ_c'\ ^4D_{λλ} 5/2^+>$, or $|Ξ_c\ ^2D_{ρρ} 5/2^+>$ state. As a by-product, we calculate the strong decays of the bottom baryons $Σ_b^{\pm}$, $Σ_b^{*\pm}$ and $Ξ_b^*$, which are in good agreement with the recent observations as well.
