On the Universal Texture in the PA-2HDM for the V-SPIN case

In a Partially Aligned Two Higgs Doublet Model, where only is allowed flavor violation between third and second generation of fermions, we propose a mechanism to generate the second Yukawa matrix through a Unitary V-Spin flavor transformation on the mass matrix for quarks and leptons. Also we assume that this flavor transformation is universal, this is, we use the same parameters to generate Yukawa matrix elements in both sectors, reducing drastically the number of free parameters. As consequence we obtained a serie of relations between Yukawa matrix elements, that we called the Universality Constraint. Also, we obtained an interval of values for the second Yukawa matrix elements, expressed in terms of the Cheng and Sher ansatz, for $τ\to\ muμ^+μ^-$ and $τ\toγμ$ coming from the Universality Constraint and experimental bounds for light scalar masses. Finally, we show the allowed region of parameters for the flavor transformation from $B_s\toμμ$ decays, $B_s^0-\bar{B}_s^0$ mixing, $τ\toμμ^+μ^-$ and $τ\toγμ$ experimental bounds.

Couplings of quarks in the Partially Aligned 2HDM with a four-zero texture Yukawa matrix

The Two Higgs Doublets Model (2HDM) has provided a very useful way to describe a minimal extension of the scalar sector of the Standard Model. In this work, it is shown a scheme that we call Partial Aligned Two Higgs Doublet Model (PA-2HDM) which allows a description of the distinct versions of the 2HDM in a simple way, including those with flavor symmetries. In addition, it is shown a method to diagonalize Yukawa matrices of four-zero texture coming from the 2HDM-III. We provide some phenomenological applications in order to show the model's predictive power.

Violation of CP and T in semileptonic decays due to scalar interactions

Observing charge-parity (CP) or time-reversal (T) violations in the leptonic sector will give useful information to elucidate the nature of neutrinos. CP-violating couplings in charged leptonic currents carry out the weak phases necessary to break these symmetries. Here we study the interference of $W^{\pm}$ and $H^{\pm}$ bosons mediated amplitudes as the origin of possible CP and T violation in semileptonic decays of $K^{\pm}$ mesons and $τ^{\pm}$ leptons. We use the experimental bound on the T-odd transverse polarization asymmetry in $K^+_{μ3}$ decays to predict an upper limit on the CP violating effects in $τ\to K πν$ decays. In the framework of this model with scalar-mediated interactions, we find that current limits on the former process indicate that the CP violating effects in the latter are much smaller than the limits reported so far.
