In this paper, we study the hypercritical deformed Hermitian-Yang-Mills equation on compact Kähler manifolds and resolve two conjectures of Collins-Yau.
In this work we consider compact Kähler manifolds with non-positive mixed curvature which is a "convex combination" of Ricci curvature and holomorphic sectional curvature. We show that in this case, the canonical line bundle is nef. Moreover, if the curvature is negative at some point, then the manifold is projective with canonical line bundle being big and nef. If in addition the curvature is negative, then the canonical line bundle is ample. As an application, we answer a question of Ni concerning manifolds with negative $k$-Ricci curvature and generalize a result of Wu-Yau and Diverio-Trapani to the conformally Kähler case. We also show that the compact Kähler manifold is projective and simply connected if the mixed curvature is positive.
Motivated by the torus stability problem, in this work we study Kähler metrics with almost non-negative scalar curvature on complex torus. We prove that after passing to a subsequence, non-collapsing sequence of Kähler metrics with almost non-negative scalar curvature will converge to flat torus weakly.
We study the possible singularities of an $m$-subharmonic function $φ$ along a complex submanifold $V$ of a compact Kähler manifold, finding a maximal rate of growth for $φ$ which depends only on $m$ and $k$, the codimension of $V$. When $k < m$, we show that $φ$ has at worst log poles along $V$, and that the strength of these poles is moveover constant along $V$. This can be thought of as an analogue of Siu's theorem.
On a complete $p$-nonparabolic $3$-dimensional manifold with non-negative scalar curvature and vanishing second homology, we establish a sharp monotonicity formula for the proper $p$-Green function along its level sets for $1<p<3$. This can be viewed as a generalization of the recent result by Munteanu-Wang \cite{MunteanuWang2021} in the case of $p=2$. No smoothness assumption is made on the $p$-Green function when $1<p\leq 2$. Several rigidity results are also proven.
Motivated by the recent work of Lamm and Simon, in this work we study the short-time existence theory of Ricci-Deturck flow starting from rough metrics which are bi-Lipschitz and have small local scaling invariant gradient concentration. As applications, we use it to study several stability problems related to the scalar curvature.
In a recent work of Brendle-Hirsch-Johne, a notion of intermediate curvature was introduced to extend the classical non-existence theorem of positive scalar curvature on torus to product manifolds. In this work, we study the rigidity when the intermediate curvature is only non-negative when the ambient dimension is at most $5$.
We show the optimal $C^{1,1}$ regularity of geodesics in nef and big cohomology class on Kähler manifolds away from the non-Kähler locus, assuming sufficiently regular initial data. As a special case, we prove the $C^{1,1}$ regularity of geodesics of Kähler metrics on compact Kähler varieties away from the singular locus. Our main novelty is an improved boundary estimate for the complex Monge-Ampère equation that does not require strict positivity of the reference form near the boundary. We also discuss the case of some special geodesic rays.
Guan-Ren-Wang established the curvature estimate of convex hypersurface satisfying the Weingarten curvature equation $σ_{k}(κ(X)) = f(X,ν(X))$. In this note, we give a simple proof of this result.
In this paper, we establish the curvature estimates for a class of Hessian type equations. Some applications are also discussed.
We give sharp $C^{2,α}$ estimates for solutions of some fully nonlinear elliptic and parabolic equations in complex geometry and almost complex geometry, assuming a bound on the Laplacian of the solution. We also prove the analogous results to complex Monge-Ampère equations with conical singularities. As an application, we obtain a local estimate for Calabi-Yau equation in almost complex geometry. We also improve the $C^{2,α}$ regularities and estimates for viscosity solutions to some uniformly elliptic and parabolic equations. All our results are optimal regarding the Hölder exponent.
We prove the long time existence and uniqueness of solutions to the parabolic Monge-Ampère equation on compact almost Hermitian manifolds. We also show that the normalization of solution converges to a smooth function in $C^{\infty}$ topology as $t\rightarrow\infty$. Up to scaling, the limit function is a solution of the Monge-Ampère equation. This gives a parabolic proof of existence of solutions to the Monge-Ampère equation on almost Hermitian manifolds.
We consider the complex Monge-Ampère equation on compact manifolds when the background metric is a Hermitian metric (in complex dimension two) or a kind of Hermitian metric (in higher dimensions). We prove that the Laplacian estimate holds when $F$ is in $W^{1,q_{0}}$ for any $q_{0}>2n$. As an application, we show that, up to scaling, there exists a unique classical solution in $W^{3,q_{0}}$ for the complex Monge-Ampère equation when $F$ is in $W^{1,q_{0}}$.
