Superdense Coding with Uniformly Accelerated Particle

We study superdense coding with uniformly accelerated particle in single mode approximation and beyond single mode approximation. We use four different functions, the capacity of superdense coding, negativity, discord and the probability of success for evaluating the final results. In single mode approximation, all the four functions behave as expected, however in beyond single mode approximation, except the probability of success, the other three functions represent peculiar behaviors at least for special ranges where the beyond single mode approximation is strong.

Quantum teleportation with nonclassical correlated states in noninertial frames

Quantum teleportation is studied in noninertial frame, for fermionic case, when Alice and Bob share a general nonclassical correlated state. In noninertial frames two fidelities of teleportation are given. It is found that the average fidelity of teleportation from a separable and nonclassical correlated state is increasing with the amount of nonclassical correlation of the state. However, for any particular nonclassical correlated state, the fidelity of teleportation decreases by increasing the acceleration.

Entanglement of arbitrary spin modes in an expanding universe

Pair particle creation is a well-known effect on the domain of field theory in curved space-time. It is shown that the entanglement generations for spin-0 and spin-1/2 modes are different in Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) space-time. We consider the spin-1 particles in FRW space-time using Duffin-Kemmer-Petiao (DKP) equation and obtain a measure of the generated entanglement. Also, we consider the spin-3/2 particles. We argue that the absolute value of the spin does not play any role in entanglement generation and the differences are due to the bosonic or fermionic properties.

Pseudo-Entanglement Evaluated in Noninertial Frames

We study quantum discord, in addition to entanglement, of bipartite pseudo-entanglement in noninertial frames. It is shown that the entanglement degrades from its maximum value in a stationary frame to a minimum value in an infinite accelerating frame. There is a critical region found in which, for particular cases, entanglement of states vanishes for certain accelerations. The quantum discord of pseudo-entanglement decreases by increasing the acceleration. Also, for a physically inaccessible region, entanglement and nonclassical correlation are evaluated and shown to match the corresponding values of the physically accessible region for an infinite acceleration.

Application of Pseudo-Hermitian Quantum Mechanics to a Complex Scattering Potential with Point Interactions

We present a generalization of the perturbative construction of the metric operator for non-Hermitian Hamiltonians with more than one perturbation parameter. We use this method to study the non-Hermitian scattering Hamiltonian: H=p^2/2m+ζ_-δ(x+a)+ζ_+δ(x-a), where ζ_\pm and a are respectively complex and real parameters and δ(x) is the Dirac delta function. For regions in the space of coupling constants ζ_\pm where H is quasi-Hermitian and there are no complex bound states or spectral singularities, we construct a (positive-definite) metric operator ηand the corresponding equivalent Hermitian Hamiltonian h. ηturns out to be a (perturbatively) bounded operator for the cases that the imaginary part of the coupling constants have opposite sign, \Im(ζ_+) = -\Im(ζ_-). This in particular contains the PT-symmetric case: ζ_+ = ζ_-^*. We also calculate the energy expectation values for certain Gaussian wave packets to study the nonlocal nature of $\rh$ or equivalently the non-Hermitian nature of $\rH$. We show that these physical quantities are not directly sensitive to the presence of PT-symmetry.
