An explanation of experimental data of $(g-2)_{e,μ}$ in 3-3-1 models with inverse seesaw neutrinos

We show that the anomalous magnetic moment experimental data of muon and electron $(g-2)_{μ,e}$ can be explained simultaneously in simple extensions of the 3-3-1 models consisting of new heavy neutrinos and a singly charged Higgs boson. The heavy neutrinos generate active neutrino masses and mixing through the general seesaw mechanism. They also have non-zero Yukawa couplings with singly charged Higgs bosons and right-handed charged leptons, which result in large one-loop contributions known as \emph{chirally-enhanced} ones. Numerical investigation confirms a conclusion indicated previously that these contributions are the key point to explain the large $(g-2)_{μ,e}$ data, provided that the inverse seesaw mechanism is necessary to allow both conditions that heavy neutrino masses are above few hundred GeV and non-unitary part of the active neutrino mixing matrix must be large enough.

Fermion masses and mixings and $g-2$ muon anomaly in a 3-3-1 model with $D_4$ family symmetry

We propose a predictive model based on the $SU(3)_C\times SU(3)_L\times U(1)_X$ gauge symmetry, which is supplemented by the $D_4$ family symmetry and several auxiliary cyclic symmetries whose spontaneous breaking produces the observed SM fermion mass and mixing pattern. The masses of the light active neutrinos are produced by an inverse seesaw mechanism mediated by three right handed Majorana neutrinos. To the best of our knowledge the model corresponds to the first implementation of the $D_4$ family symmetry in a $SU(3)_C\times SU(3)_L\times U(1)_X$ theory with three right handed Majorana neutrinos and inverse seesaw mechanism. Our proposed model successfully accommodates the experimental values of the SM fermion mass and mixing parameters, the muon anomalous magnetic moment as well as the Higgs diphoton decay rate and meson oscillations constraints. The consistency of our model with the muon anomalous magnetic moment requires charged exotic vector like leptons at the TeV scale.

Fermion spectrum and $g-2$ anomalies in a low scale 3-3-1 model

We propose a renormalizable theory based on the $SU(3)_C\times SU(3)_L\times U(1)_X$ gauge symmetry, supplemented by the spontaneously broken $U(1)_{L_g}$ global lepton number symmetry and the $S_3 \times Z_2 $ discrete group, which successfully describes the observed SM fermion mass and mixing hierarchy. In our model the top and exotic quarks get tree level masses, whereas the bottom, charm and strange quarks as well as the tau and muon leptons obtain their masses from a tree level Universal seesaw mechanism thanks to their mixing with charged exotic vector like fermions. The masses for the first generation SM charged fermions are generated from a radiative seesaw mechanism at one loop level. The light active neutrino masses are produced from a loop level radiative seesaw mechanism. Our model successfully accommodates the experimental values for electron and muon anomalous magnetic dipole moments.

Bounds on Dipole Moments of hidden Dark Matter through kinetic mixing

The existence of dark sectors, consisting of weakly-coupled particles that do not interact with the known Standard Model forces, is theoretically and phenomenologically motivated. The hidden particles are candidates for Dark Matter and can interact with photon through electric dipole moment (EDM) and magnetic dipole moment (MDM). We investigate the possibility a hidden sector's Dark Matter which is charged under a hidden $U(1)_X$ gauge symmetry can interact with photon at loop level. We evaluate the scattering cross section of hidden Dirac fermion with nuclei and set bounds for dipole moment. Using the results of the XENON1T experiment for direct detection of Dark Matter, we get bounds of electromagnetic dipole moment $(μ_χ)$ for mass $m_χ=100$ GeV : $ 1.93448 \times 10^{-8}μ_B \leq μ_χ\leq 1.9496 \times 10^{-8}μ_B$ and electric dipole moment $(d_χ): 3.3204 \times 10^{-23}e\mbox{.}cm \leq d_χ\leq 3.3464 \times 10^{-23}e\mbox{.}cm$. Using the condition of the existence of dipole moment we constraint the kinetic mixing parameter $ 3\times 10^{-3} \leq ε\leq 10^{-2}$ and the mass of the hidden $U(1)_X$ gauge boson to be in the range of 5 GeV $\leq m_X \leq$ 9 GeV. Our results complement previous works and are within detection capability of LHC.

Minimal model for the fermion flavor structure, mass hierarchy, dark matter, leptogenesis, and the electron and muon anomalous magnetic moments

We propose a renormalizable theory with minimal particle content and symmetries, that successfully explains the number of Standard Model (SM) fermion families, the SM fermion mass hierarchy, the tiny values for the light active neutrino masses, the lepton and baryon asymmetry of the Universe, the dark matter relic density as well as the muon and electron anomalous magnetic moments. In the proposed model, the top quark and the exotic fermions do acquire tree-level masses whereas the SM charged fermions lighter than the top quark gain one-loop level masses. Besides that, the tiny masses for the light active neutrino are generated from an inverse seesaw mechanism at one-loop level.

A 3-3-1 model with right-handed neutrinos based on the $Δ\left(27\right)$ family symmetry

We present the first multiscalar singlet extension of the 3-3-1 model with right-handed neutrinos, based on the $Δ\left( 27\right) $ family symmetry, supplemented by the $Z_{4}\otimes Z_{8}\otimes Z_{14}$ flavor group, consistent with current low energy fermion flavor data. In the model under consideration, the light active neutrino masses are generated from a double seesaw mechanism and the observed pattern of charged fermion masses and quark mixing angles is caused by the breaking of the $Δ\left( 27\right) \otimes Z_{4}\otimes Z_{8}\otimes Z_{14}$ discrete group at very high energy. Our model has only 14 effective free parameters, which are fitted to reproduce the experimental values of the 18 physical observables in the quark and lepton sectors. The obtained physical observables for the quark sector agree with their experimental values, whereas those ones for the lepton sector also do, only for the inverted neutrino mass hierarchy. The normal neutrino mass hierarchy scenario of the model is disfavored by the neutrino oscillation experimental data. We find an effective Majorana neutrino mass parameter of neutrinoless double beta decay of $m_{ββ}=$ 22 meV, a leptonic Dirac CP violating phase of $34^{\circ }$ and a Jarlskog invariant of about $10^{-2}$ for the inverted neutrino mass spectrum.

Early Universe in the SU(3)_L X U(1)_X electroweak models

We present status of the 3-3-1 models and their implications to cosmological evolution such as inflation, phase transitions and sphalerons. The models can deal not only with the issues such as neutrino physics, dark matter, etc, but they are also able to provide quite good agreement with the Standard Cosmology: the inflation happens at the GUT scale, while phase transition has two sequences corresponding two steps of symmetry breaking in the models, namely: SU(3) --> SU(2) and SU(2) --> U(1). Some bounds on the model parameters are obtained: in the RM331, the mass of the heavy neutral Higgs boson is fixed in the range: 285.56 GeV <M_{h_2}< 1.746 TeV, and for the doubly charged scalar: 3.32 TeV <M_{h_{--}}< 5.61 TeV.

Lepton flavor violating decay of SM-like Higgs in a radiative neutrino mass model

The lepton flavor violating decay of the Standard Model-like Higgs (LFVHD) is discussed in the framework of the radiative neutrino mass model built in \cite{Kenji}. The branching ratio (BR) of the LFVHD are shown to reach $10^{-5}$ in the most interesting region of the parameter space shown in \cite{Kenji}. The dominant contributions come from the singly charged Higgs mediations, namely the coupling of $h^\pm_2$ with exotic neutrinos. Furthermore, if doubly charged Higgs is heavy enough to allow the mass of $h^\pm_2$ around 1 TeV, the mentioned BR can reach $10^{-4}$. Besides, we have obtained that the large values of the Br$(h\rightarrowμτ)$ leads to very small ones of the Br$(h\rightarrow eτ)$, much smaller than various sensitivity of current experiments.

Lepton flavor violating decays of Standard-Model-like Higgs in 3-3-1 model with neutral lepton

The one loop contribution to the lepton flavor violating decay $h^0\rightarrow μτ$ of the SM-like neutral Higgs (LFVHD) in the 3-3-1 model with neutral lepton is calculated using the unitary gauge. We have checked in detail that the total contribution is exactly finite, and the divergent cancellations happen separately in two parts of active neutrinos and exotic heavy leptons. By numerical investigation, we have indicated that the one-loop contribution of the active neutrinos is very suppressed while that of exotic leptons is rather large. The branching ratio of the LFVHD strongly depends on the Yukawa couplings between exotic leptons and $SU(3)_L$ Higgs triplets. This ratio can reach $10^{-5}$ providing large Yukawa couplings and constructive correlations of the $SU(3)_L$ scale ($v_3$) and the charged Higgs masses. The branching ratio decreases rapidly with the small Yukawa couplings and large $v_3$.

The $Δ(27)$ flavor 3-3-1 model with neutral leptons

We build the first 3-3-1 model based on the $Δ(27)$ discrete group symmetry, consistent with fermion masses and mixings. In the model under consideration, the neutrino masses are generated from a combination of type-I and type-II seesaw mechanisms mediated by three heavy right-handed Majorana neutrinos and three $SU(3)_{L}$ scalar antisextets, respectively. Furthermore, from the consistency of the leptonic mixing angles with their experimental values, we obtain a non-vanishing leptonic Dirac CP violating phase of $-\frac{π}{2}$. Our model features an effective Majorana neutrino mass parameter of neutrinoless double beta decay, with values $m_{ββ}=$ 10 and 18 meV for the normal and the inverted neutrino mass hierarchies, respectively.

The electroweak theory based on SU(4)_L X U(1)_X gauge group

This paper includes two main parts. In the first part, we present generalized gauge models based on SU(3)_C x SU(4)_L x U(1)_X (3-4-1) gauge group with arbitrary electric charge of leptons. The mixing matrix of neutral gauge bosons is analysed, the eigenmasses and eigenstates are obtained. The anomaly free as well as matching conditions are discussed precisely. In the second part, we present new development of the original 3-4-1 model [1,2]. In difference from previous works, in this paper the neutrinos, with the help of the decuplet H, get the Dirac masses at the tree level. The VEV of the Higgs field in the decuplet H acquiring VEV responsible for neutrino Dirac mass leads to mixing in separated pairs of singly charged gauge bosons, namely the SM W boson and K - new gauge boson acting in right-handed lepton sector, and the singly charged bileptons X and Y. Due to the mixing, there occurs a right-handed current carried by the SM W bosons. From the expression of the electromagnetic coupling constant, ones get the limit of square sinus of the Weinberg angle: sin^2 θ_W < 0.25 and a constraint on electric charges of extra leptons. In the limit of lepton number conservation, the Higgs sector contains all massless Goldstone bosons for massive gauge bosons and the SM-like Higgs. Some phenomenology are pointed out.

Neutrino mixing with non-zero $θ_{13}$ and CP violation in the 3-3-1 model based on $A_4$ flavor symmetry

We propose a 3-3-1 model with neutral fermions based on $A_4$ flavor symmetry responsible for fermion masses and mixings with non-zero $θ_{13}$. To get realistic neutrino mixing, we just add a new $SU(3)_L$ triplet being in $\underline{3}$ under $A_4$. The neutrinos get small masses from two $SU(3)_L$ antisextets and one $SU(3)_L$ triplet. The model can fit the present data on neutrino masses and mixing as well as the effective mass governing neutrinoless double beta decay. Our results show that the neutrino masses are naturally small and a little deviation from the tri-bimaximal neutrino mixing form can be realized. The Dirac CP violation phase $δ$ is predicted to either $5.41^{\circ}$ or $354.59^{\circ}$ with $θ_{23} \neq \fracπ{4}$.

Quark mass and mixing in the 3-3-1 model with neutral leptons based on $D_4$ flavor symmetry

The $D_4$ flavor model based on $\mathrm{SU}(3)_C \otimes \mathrm{SU}(3)_L \otimes \mathrm{U}(1)_X$ gauge symmetry that aims at describing quark mass and mixing is updated. After spontaneous breaking of flavor symmetry, with the constraint on the Higgs vacuum expectation values (VEVs) in the Yukawa couplings, all of quarks have consistent masses, and a realistic quark mixing matrix can be realized at the first order of perturbation theory.

Signal of doubly charged Higgs at $e^+e^-$ colliders

Masses and signals of the production of Doubly charged Higgses(DCH) in the framework of the supersymmetric reduced minimal 3-3-1 model(SUSYRM331) are investigated. In the DCH sector, weprove that there always exists a region of the parameter space where the mass of the lightest DCH is in order of $\mathcal{O}(100)$ GeV even when all other new particles are very heavy. The lightest DCH mainly decays to two same-sign leptons while the dominated decay channels of the heavy DCHs are those decay to heavy particles. We analyze each production cross section for $e^+e^- \rightarrow H^{++} H^{--}$ as a function of a few kinematic variables, which are useful to discuss the creation of the DCHs in the $e^+e^-$ colliders as a signal of new physics beyond the Standard Model. The numerical study shows that the cross sections for creating the lightest DCH can reach values of few pbs. The two other DCHs are too heavy, beyond the observable range of experiments. The lightest DCH may be detected by the International Linear Collider (ILC) or the Compact LInear Collider (CLIC) by searching its decay to a same-sign charged lepton pair.

The muon anomalous magnetic moment in the supersymmetric economical 3-3-1 model

We investigate the muon anomalous magnetic moment in the context of the supersymmetric version of the economical 3-3-1 model. We compute the 1-loop contribution of super-partner particles. We show that contribution of superparticle loop becomes significant when \tan γis large. We investigate for both small and large values of $\tan γ$. We find the region of the parameter space where the slepton masses are of a few hundreds GeV is favour by the muon g-2 for small \tan γ(\tan γ\sim 5 ). Numerical estimation gives the mass of supersymmetric particle, the mass of gauginos m_G \sim 700 GeV and light slepton mass m_{\tilde{L}} is of order O (100) GeV. When \tanγ is large (\tanγ \sim 60), the mass of charged slepton m_{\tilde{L}} and the mass of gauginos m_G\sim O(1) TeV while the mass of sneutrino \sim 450 GeV is in the reach of LHC.

Connection of $g-2_μ$, electroweak, dark matter, and collider constraints on 331 models

In this work we compute all contributions to the muon magnetic moment stemming from several 3-3-1 models namely, minimal 331, 331 with right handed neutrinos, 331 with heavy neutral leptons, 331 with charged exotic leptons, 331 economical and 331 with two higgs triplets. Further, we exploit the complementarity among current electroweak, dark matter and collider constraints to outline the relevant parameter space of the models capable of explaining the anomaly. Lastly, assuming that the experimental anomaly has been otherwise resolved, we derive robust $1σ$ bounds using the current and projected measurements.

Higgs revised in Supersymmetric Economical 3-3-1 model with B/μ-type terms

We re-investigate the scalar potential and the Higgs sector of the supersymmetric economical 3-3-1 model (SUSYE331) in the presence of the B/μtype terms which has many important consequences. First, the model contains no massless Higgs fields. Second, we prove that the soft mass parameters of Higgses must be at the SU(3)_L scale. As a result, the masses of the Higgses drift toward this scale except one light real neutral Higgs with the mass of m_Z|cos(2γ)| at the tree level. We also show that there are some Higgses containing many properties of the Higgses in the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM), especially in the neutral Higgs sector. One exact relation in the MSSM, m^2_H^{+/-}=m^2_A+m^2_W, is still true in the SUSYE331. Based on this result we make some comments on the lepton flavor violating decays of these Higgses as one of signatures of new physics in the SUSYE331 model which may be detected by present colliders.

Neutrino mass and mixing in the 3-3-1 model and S3 flavor symmetry with minimal Higgs content

A new S3 flavor model based on $\mathrm{SU}(3)_C \otimes \mathrm{SU}(3)_L \otimes \mathrm{U}(1)_X$ gauge symmetry responsible for fermion masses and mixings different from our previous work is constructed. The new feature is a two - dimensional representation of a Higgs anti-sextet under $S_3$ which responsible for neutrino masses and mixings. The neutrinos acquire small masses from only an anti-sextet of $\mathrm{SU(3)}$ which is in a doublet under $S_3$. If the difference of components of the anti-sextet is regarded as a small perturbation, S3 is equivalently broken into identity, the corresponding neutrino mass mixing matrix acquires the most general form and the model can fit the latest data on neutrino oscillation. This way of the symmetry breaking helps us to reduce a content in the Higgs sector, only one an anti-sextet instead of two as in our previous work. Our results show that the neutrino masses are naturally small and a small deviation from the tri-bimaximal neutrino mixing form can be realized. The Higgs potential of the model as well as the minimization conditions and gauge boson masses and mixings is also considered.

Neutrino Mixing With Non-Zero $θ_{13}$ In Zee-Babu Model

The exact solution for the neutrino mass matrix of the Zee-Babu model is derived. Tribimaximal mixing imposes conditions on the Yukawa couplings, from which the normal mass hierarchy is preferred. The derived conditions give a possibility of Majorana maximal $\mathrm{CP}$ violation in the neutrino sector. We have shown that non-zero $θ_{13}$ is generated if Yukawa couplings between leptons almost equal to each other. The model gives some regions of the parameters where neutrino mixing angles and the normal neutrino mass hierarchy obtained consistent with the recent experimental data.

The T7 flavor symmetry in 3-3-1 model with neutral leptons

We construct a 3-3-1 model based on non-Abelian discrete symmetry $T_7$ responsible for the fermion masses. Neutrinos get masses from only anti-sextets which are in triplets $\underline{3}$ and $\underline{3}^*$ under $T_7$. The flavor mixing patterns and mass splitting are obtained without perturbation. The tribimaximal form obtained with the breaking $T_7 \rightarrow Z_3$ in charged lepton sector and both $T_7 \rightarrow Z_3$ and $Z_3 \rightarrow \{\mathrm{Identity}\}$ must be taken place in neutrino sector but only apart in breakings $Z_3 \rightarrow \{\mathrm{Identity}\}$ (without contribution of $\si'$), and the upper bound on neutrino mass $\sum_{i=1}^3m_i$ at the level is presented. The Dirac CP violation phase $δ$ is predicted to either $\fracπ{2}$ or $\frac{3π}{2}$ which is maximal CP violation. From the Dirac CP violation phase we obtain the relation between Euler's angles which is consistent with the experimental in PDG 2012. On the other hand, the realistic lepton mixing can be obtained if both the direction for breakings $T_7 \rightarrow Z_3$ and $Z_3 \rightarrow \{\mathrm{Identity}\}$ are taken place in neutrino sectors. The CKM matrix is the identity matrix at the tree-level.

Total cross-section for photon-axion conversions in external electromagnetic field

We reconsider the conversion of the photon into axion in the external electromagnetic fields, namely in the static fields and in a periodic field of the wave guide. The total cross-sections for the conversion are evaluated in detail. The result shows that with strong strength of external electromagnetic fields, the cross-sections are large enough to measure the axion production. In the wave guide there exists the resonant conversion at the low energies, in which the value of cross-sections is much enhanced

Lepton flavor violating processes τ->μγ$, $τ-> 3μ$ and $Z-> μτ$ in the Supersymmetric economical 3-3-1 model

In this work, we study the charged lepton flavor violating (cLFV) decays $τ-> μγ$, $τ-> 3μ$ and $Z->μτ$ in the framework of the Supersymmetric economical 3-3-1 model. Analytic formulas for branching ratios (BR) of these decays are presented. We assume that there exist lepton flavor violation (LFV) sources in both right- and left-handed slepton sectors. This leads to the strong enhancement of cLFV decay rates. We also show that the effects of the LFV source to the cLFV decay rates in the left-handed slepton sector are greater than those in the right- handed slepton sector. By numerical investigation, we show that the model under consideration contains the relative light mass spectrum of sleptons which satisfies the current experimental bounds on LFV processes in the limit of small $\tan γ$. The interplay between monopole and dipole operators also was studied.

Supersymmetric reduced minimal 3-3-1 model

We build an supersymmetric version of the minimal 3-3-1 model with just two Higgs triplets using the superfield formalism. We study the mass spectrum of all particles in concordance with the experimental bounds. At the tree level, the masses of charged gauge bosons are the same as those of charged Higgs bosons. We also show that the electron, muon and their neutrinos as well as down and strange quarks gain mass through the loop correction. The narrow constraint on the ratio t_w = \frac{w}{w^\prime} is given by studying the new invisible decay mode of the Z boson.

The D_4 flavor symmery in 3-3-1 model with neutral leptons

We construct a $D_4$ flavor model based on SU(3)_C X SU}(3_L X U(1)_X gauge symmetry responsible for fermion masses and mixings. The neutrinos get small masses from antisextets which are in a singlet and a doublet under $D_4$. If the D_4 symmetry is violated as perturbation by a Higgs triplet under SU(3)_L and lying in {1}''' of D_4, the corresponding neutrino mass mixing matrix gets the most general form. In this case, the model can fit the experimental data in 2012 on neutrino masses and mixing. Our results show that the neutrino masses are naturally small and a little deviation from the tribimaximal neutrino mixing form can be realized. The quark masses and mixing matrix are also discussed. In the model under consideration, the CKM matrix can be different from the unit matrix. The scalar potential of the model is more simpler than those of the model based on $S_3$ and $S_4$. Assignation of VEVs to antisextets leads to the mixing of the new gauge bosons and those in the Standard Model. The mixing in the charged gauge bosons as well as the neutral gauge boson is considered.

General formula for symmetry factors of Feynman diagrams

General formula for symmetry factors (S-factor) of Feynman diagrams containing fields with high spins is derived. We prove that symmetry factors of Feynman diagrams of well-known theories do not depend on spins of fields. In contributions to S-factors, self-conjugate fields and non self-conjugate fields play the same roles as real scalar fields and complex scalar fields, respectively. Thus, the formula of S-factors for scalar theories --- theories include only real and complex scalar fields --- works on all well-known theories of fields with high spins. Two interesting consequences deduced from our result are : (i) S-factors of all external connected diagrams consisting of only vertices with three different fields, e.g., spinor QED, are equal to unity; (ii) some diagrams with different topologies can contribute the same factor, leading to the result that the inverse S-factor for the total contribution is the sum of inverse S-factors, i.e., 1/S = \sum_i (1/S_i).

Lepton-flavor violating decays of neutral Higgs to muon and tauon in supersymmetric economical 3-3-1 model

We investigate Lepton-Flavor Violating (LFV) decays of Higgs to muon-tau in the supersymmetric economical 3-3-1 (SUSYE331) model. In the presence of flavor mixing in sleptons {mu,tau} and large values of v/v', the ratio of Br(H -->tau^+mu^-)/Br(H -->tau^+tau^-) can reach to non-negligible values O(10^{-3}), as in many known SUSY models. We predict that for the Standard Model Higgs boson, the LHC may detect its decay to muon and tauon. We also investigate the asymmetry between left and right LFV values of corrections and prove that the LFV effects are dominated by the left FLV term, which is O(10^3) times larger than the right LFV term in the limit of small values of |μ_ρ|/m_SUSY. The contributions of Higgs-mediated effects to the decay tau --> mu mu mu are also discussed.

Neutral currents in reduced minimal 3-3-1 model

This work is devoted for gauge boson sector of the recently proposed model based on SU(3)_C X SU(3)_L X U(1)_X group with minimal content of leptons and Higgses. The limits on the masses of the bilepton gauge bosons and on the mixing angle among the neutral ones are deduced. Using the Fritzsch anzats on quark mixing, we show that the third family of quarks should be different from the first two. We obtain a lower bound on mass of the new heavy neutral gauge boson as 6.051 TeV. Using data on branching decay rates of the $Z$ boson, we can fix the limit to the Z and Z^prime mixing angle phi as $-0.001\leϕ\le 0.0003$.

Question of Peccei-Quinn symmetry and quark masses in the economical 3-3-1 model

We show that there is an infinite number of U(1) symmetries like Peccei-Quinn symmetry in the 3-3-1 model with minimal scalar sector---two scalar triplets. Moreover, all of them are completely broken due to the model's scalars by themselves (notice that these scalars as known have been often used to break the gauge symmetry and generating the masses for the model's particles). There is no any residual Peccei-Quinn symmetry. Because of the minimal scalar content there are some quarks that are massless at tree-level, but they can get consistent mass contributions at one-loop due to this fact. Interestingly, axions as associated with the mentioned U(1)s breaking (including Majoron due to lepton-charge breaking) are all gauged away because they are also the Goldstone bosons responsible for the gauge symmetry breaking as usual.

Neutrino Masses in Supersymmetric Economical SU(3)_C X SU(3)_L X U(1)_X Model

The R-symmetry formalism is applied for the supersymmetric economical SU(3)_C X SU(3)_L X U(1)_X (3-3-1) model. The generalization of the minimal supersymmetric standard model relation among R-parity, spin and matter parity is derived, and discrete symmetries for the proton stability in this model are imposed. We show that in such a case it is able to give leptons masses at just the tree level. A simple mechanism for the mass generation of the neutrinos is explored. With the new R-parity, the neutral fermions get mass matrix with two distinct sectors: one light which is identified with neutrino mass matrix, another heavy one which is identified with neutralinos one. The similar situation exists in the charged fermion sector. Some phenomenological consequences such as proton stability, neutrinoless double beta decays are discussed.

Photon-radion conversion cross-sections in external electromagnetic field

An attempt is made to present some experimental predictions of the Randall-Sundrum model, where compactification radius of the extra dimension is stabilized by the radion, which is a scalar field lighter than the graviton Kaluza-Klein states. We calculate the conversion cross-sections of the photons into the radions in the external electromagnetic fields, namely, in the static fields and in a periodic field of the wave guide. Numerical evaluations of the total cross-sections are also given. Our result shows that the conversion cross-section in the static electric field is quite small. But, in the static magnetic and periodic fields, the radion productions are much enhanced.

The S_3 flavor symmetry in 3-3-1 models

We propose two 3-3-1 models (with either neutral fermions or right-handed neutrinos) based on S_3 flavor symmetry responsible for fermion masses and mixings. The models can be distinguished upon the new charge embedding (\mathcal{L}) relevant to lepton number. The neutrino small masses can be given via a cooperation of type I and type II seesaw mechanisms. The latest data on neutrino oscillation can be fitted provided that the flavor symmetry is broken via two different directions S_3 \rightarrow Z_2 and S_3 \rightarrow Z_3 (or equivalently in the sequel S_3 \rightarrow Z_2 \rightarrow Identity), in which the second direction is due to a scalar triplet and another antisextet as small perturbation. In addition, breaking of either lepton parity in the model with neutral fermions or lepton number in the model with right-handed neutrinos must be happened due to the \mathcal{L}-violating scalar potential. The TeV seesaw scale can be naturally recognized in the former model. The degenerate masses of fermion pairs (μ, τ), (c, t) and (s, b) are respectively separated due to the S_3 \rightarrow Z_3 breaking.

Non-thermal leptogenesis in supersymmetric 3-3-1 model with inflationary scenario

We study a leptogenesis scenario in which the heavy Majorana neutrinos are produced non-thermally in inflaton decays in the supersymmetric economical SU(3)_C X SU(3)_L X U(1)_X model with inflationary scenario, and for this purpose neutrino masses play the key role. Due to the inflaton with mass in the GUT scale, the model under consideration provides successful neutrino masses, which is different from ones without inflationary scenario. The lepton-number-violating interactions among the inflaton and right-handed neutrinos appear at the one-loop level, and this is a reason for non-thermal leptogenesis scenario. The bound followed from the gravitino abundance and the cosmological constraint on neutrino mass/the neutrino oscillation data is m_ν3 \simeq \frac{0.05}{δ_{eff}} eV. By taking the reheating temperature as low as T_R= 10^6 GeV, we get a limit on the ratio of masses of the light heavies neutrino to those of the inflaton to be \fr{M_{R1}}{M_ϕ} = 0.87.

Symmetry Factors of Feynman Diagrams for Scalar Fields

The symmetry factor of Feynman diagrams for real and complex scalar fields is presented. Being analysis of Wick expansion for Green functions, the mentioned factor is derived in a general form. The symmetry factor can be separated into two ones corresponding to that of connected and vacuum diagrams. The determination of symmetry factors for the vacuum diagrams is necessary as they play a role in the effective action and phase transitions in cosmology. In the complex scalar theory the diagrams different in topology may give the same contribution, hence inverse of the symmetry factor (1/S) for total contribution is a summation of each similar ones (1/S_i), i.e., 1/S = \sum_i (1/S_i).

The 3-3-1 model with A_4 flavor symmetry

We argue that the A_4 symmetry as required by three flavors of fermions may well-embed in the SU(3)_C X SU(3)_L X U(1)_X gauge model. The new neutral fermion singlets as introduced in a canonical seesaw mechanism can be combined with the standard model lepton doublets to perform SU(3)_L triplets. Various leptoscalar multiplets such as singlets, doublets, and triplets as played in the models of A_4 are unified in single SU(3)_L antisextets. As a result, naturally light neutrinos with various kinds of mass hierarchies are obtained as a combination of type I and type II seesaw contributions. The observed neutrino mixing pattern in terms of the Harrison-Perkins-Scott proposal is obtained by enforcing of the A_4 group. The quark masses and Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa mixing matrix are also discussed. By virtue of very heavy antisextets the nature of the vacuum alignments of scalar fields can be given.

The 3-3-1 model with S_4 flavor symmetry

We construct a 3-3-1 model based on family symmetry S_4 responsible for the neutrino and quark masses. The tribimaximal neutrino mixing and the diagonal quark mixing have been obtained. The new lepton charge \mathcal{L} related to the ordinary lepton charge L and a SU(3) charge by L=2/\sqrt{3} T_8+\mathcal{L} and the lepton parity P_l=(-)^L known as a residual symmetry of L have been introduced which provide insights in this kind of model. The expected vacuum alignments resulting in potential minimization can origin from appropriate violation terms of S_4 and \mathcal{L}. The smallness of seesaw contributions can be explained from the existence of such terms too. If P_l is not broken by the vacuum values of the scalar fields, there is no mixing between the exotic and the ordinary quarks at the tree level.

Right-handed sneutrinos as self-interacting dark matter in supersymmetric economical 3-3-1 model

In this work we show that the supersymmetric economical SU(3)_C X SU(3)_L X U(1)_X (3-3-1) gauge model has a realistic candidate for self-interacting dark matter. In the model under consideration, the right-handed sneutrino is in bottom of the triplet, which is a singlet of the Standard Model SU(2)_L group. In addition, the right-handed sneutrino is the lightest slepton. By these properties, the right-handed sneutrino is weakly interacting with the Standard Model and stable without introduction of extra symmetry. From the Spergel-Steinhardt condition, the typical mass limit $\leq 10 $ MeV is derived. With self-interacting coupling constant fixed by supersymmetry, this limit is deduced without any approximation. The condition for thermal generated self-interacting dark matter in the Universe is also obtained.

Supersymmetric economical 3-3-1 model

The supersymmetric extension of the economical 3-3-1 model is presented. The constraint equations and the gauge boson identification establish a relation between the vacuum expectation values (VEVs) at the top and bottom elements of the Higgs triplet $χ$ and its supersymmetric counterpart $χ^\prime$. Because of this relation, the exact diagonalization of neutral gauge boson sector has been performed. The gauge bosons and their associated Goldstone ones mix in the same way as in non-supersymmetric version. This is also correct in the case of gauginos. The eigenvalues and eigenstates in the Higgs sector are derived. The model contains a heavy neutral Higgs boson with mass equal to those of the neutral non-Hermitian gauge boson $X^0$ and a charged scalar with mass equal to those of the $W$ boson in the standard model, i. e. $ m_{\varrho_1} = m_W$. This result is in good agreement with the present estimation: $m_{H^\pm} > 79.3$ GeV, CL= 95 %. We also show that the boson sector and the fermion sector gain masses in the same way as in the non-supersymmetric case.
