Bowen's equations for upper metric mean dimension with potential

Firstly, we introduce a new notion called induced upper metric mean dimension with potential, which naturally generalizes the definition of upper metric mean dimension with potential given by Tsukamoto to more general cases, then we establish variational principles for it in terms of upper and lower rate distortion dimensions and show there exists a Bowen's equation between induced upper metric mean dimension with potential and upper metric mean dimension with potential. Secondly, we continue to introduce two new notions, called BS metric mean dimension and Packing BS metric mean dimension on arbitrary subsets, to establish Bowen's equations for Bowen upper metric mean dimension and Packing upper metric mean dimension with potential on subsets. Besides, we also obtain two variational principles for BS metric mean dimension and Packing BS metric mean dimension on subsets. Finally, the special interest about the Bowen upper metric mean dimension of the set of generic points of ergodic measures are also involved.

Entropy Formulae on Feldman-Katok Metric of Random Dynamical Systems

In this paper, we study the Feldman-Katok metric in random dynamical systems and establish corresponding fiber topological entropy formula, Brin-Katok local entropy formula and fiber Katok entropy formula by replacing Bowen metric with Feldman-Katok metric. It turns out that the Feldman-Katok metric is also the weakest metric that makes the entropy formulae valid on random dynamical systems.

Some notes on variational principle for metric mean dimension

Firstly, we answer the problem 1 asked by Gutman and $\rm \acute{\ S}$piewak in \cite{gs20}, then we establish a double variational principle for mean dimension in terms of R$\bar{e}$nyi information dimension and show the order of $\sup$ and $\limsup$ (or $\liminf$) of the variational principle for the metric mean dimension in terms of R$\bar{e}$nyi information dimension obtained by Gutman and $\rm \acute{\ S}$piewak can be changed under the marker property. Finally, we attempt to introduce the notion of maximal metric mean dimension measure, which is an analogue of the concept called classical maximal entropy measure related to the topological entropy.

Weighted Topological Entropy of Random Dynamical Systems

Let $f_{i},i=1,2$ be continuous bundle random dynamical systems over an ergodic compact metric system $(Ω,\mathcal{F},\mathbb{P},\vartheta)$. Assume that ${\bf a}=(a_{1},a_{2})\in\mathbb{R}^{2}$ with $a_{1}>0$ and $a_{2}\geq0$, $f_{2}$ is a factor of $f_{1}$ with a factor map $Π:Ω\times X_{1}\rightarrowΩ\times X_{2}$. We define the ${\bf a}$-weighted Bowen topological entropy of $h^{\bf a}(ω,f_{1},X_{1})$ of $f_{1}$ with respect to $ω\in Ω$. It is shown that the quality $h^{\bf a}(ω,f_{1},X_{1})$ is measurable in $Ω$, and denoted that $h^{\bf a}(f_{1},Ω\times X_{1})$ is the integration of $h^{\bf a}(ω,f_{1},X_{1})$ against $\mathbb{P}$. We prove the following variational principle: \begin{align*} h^{\bf a}(f_{1},Ω\times X_{1})=\sup\left\{a_{1}h_μ^{(r)}(f_{1})+a_{2}h_{μ\circΠ^{-1}}^{(r)}(f_{2})\right\}, \end{align*} where the supremum is taken over the set of all $μ\in\mathcal{M}_{\mathbb{P}}^{1}(Ω\times X_{1},f_{1})$. In the case of random dynamical systems with an ergodic and compact driving system, this gives an affirmative answer to the question posed by Feng and Huang [Variational principle for weighted topological pressure, J. Math. Pures Appl. 106 (2016), 411-452]. It also generalizes the relativized variational principle for fiber topological entropy, and provides a topological extension of Hausdorff dimension of invariant sets and random measures on the $2$-torus $\mathbb{T}^{2}$. In addition, the Shannon-McMillan-Breiman theorem, Brin-Katok local entropy formula and Katok entropy formula of weighted measure-theoretic entropy for random dynamical systems are also established in this paper.

Entropy and Emergence of Topological Dynamical Systems

A topological dynamical system $(X,f)$ induces two natural systems, one is on the probability measure spaces and other one is on the hyperspace. We introduce a concept for these two spaces, which is called entropy order, and prove that it coincides with topological entropy of $(X,f)$. We also consider the entropy order of an invariant measure and a variational principle is established.

Bowen entropy for actions of amenable groups

Bowen introduced a definition of topological entropy of subset inspired by Hausdorff dimension in 1973 \cite{B}. In this paper we consider the Bowen's entropy for amenable group action dynamical systems and show that under the tempered condition, the Bowen entropy of the whole compact space for a given Følner sequence equals to the topological entropy. For the proof of this result, we establish a variational principle related to the Bowen entropy and the Brin-Katok's local entropy formula for dynamical systems with amenable group actions.

The Conditional Variational Principle for Maps with the Pseudo-orbit Tracing Property

Let $(X,d,f)$ be a topological dynamical system, where $(X,d)$ is a compact metric space and $f:X\to X$ is a continuous map. We define $n$-ordered empirical measure of $x\in X$ by \begin{align*} \mathscr{E}_n(x)=\frac{1}{n}\sum\limits_{i=0}^{n-1}δ_{f^ix}, \end{align*} where $δ_y$ is the Dirac mass at $y$. Denote by $V(x)$ the set of limit measures of the sequence of measures $\mathscr{E}_n(x).$ In this paper, we obtain conditional variational principles for the topological entropy of \begin{align*} Δ_{sub}(I)=\left\{x\in X:V(x)\subset I\right\}, \end{align*} and \begin{align*} Δ_{cap}(I)=\left\{x\in X:V(x)\cap I\neq\emptyset \right\}. \end{align*} in a transitive dynamical system with the pseudo-orbit tracing property, where $I$ is a certain subset of $\mathscr M_{\rm inv}(X,f)$.

Conditional Variational Principle for Historic Set in Some Nonuniformly Hyperbolic Systems

This article is devoted to the study of the historic set, which was introduced by Ruelle, of Birkhoff averges in some nonuniformly hyperbolic systems via Pesin theory. Particularly, we give a conditional variational principle for historic sets. Our results can be applied (i) to the diffeomorphisms on surfaces, (ii) to the nonuniformly hyperbolic diffeomorphisms described by Katok and several other classes of diffeomorphisms derived from Anosov systems.

A local variational principle for random bundle transformations

We introduce local topological entropy $h_{\text{top}}(T, \mathcal{U})$ and two kinds of local measure-theoretic entropy $h_μ^{(r)-}(T,\mathcal{U})$ and $h_μ^{(r)+}(T,\mathcal{U})$ for random bundle transformations. We derive a variational inequality of random local entropy for $h_μ^{(r)+}(T,\mathcal{U})$. As an application of such relation we prove a local variational principle in random dynamical system.

Multifractal analysis for historic set in topological dynamical systems

In this article, the historic set is divided into different level sets and we use topological pressure to describe the size of these level sets. We give an application of these results to dimension theory. Especially, we use topological pressure to describe the relative multifractal spectrum of ergodic averages and give a positive answer to the conjecture posed by L. Olsen (J. Math. Pures Appl. {\bf 82} (2003)).

Packing dimensions of the divergence points of self-similar measures with the open set condition

Let $μ$ be the self-similar measure supported on the self-similar set $K$ with open set condition. In this article, we discuss the packing dimension of the set $\{x\in K: A(\frac{\logμ(B(x,r))}{\log r})=I\}$ for $I\subseteq\mathbb{R}$, where $A(\frac{\logμ(B(x,r))}{\log r})$ denotes the set of accumulation points of \frac{\logμ(B(x,r))}{\log r}$ as $r\searrow0$. Our main result solves the conjecture about packing dimension posed by Olsen and Winter \cite{OlsWin} and generalizes the result in \cite{BaeOlsSni}.

Projection Pressure and Bowen's Equation for a Class of Self-similar Fractals with Overlap Structure

Let $\{S_i\}_{i=1}^{l}$ be an iterated function system(IFS) on $\mathbb{R}^d$ with attractor K. Let $π$ be the canonical projection. In this paper we define a new concept called "projection pressure" $P_π(ϕ)$ for $ϕ\in C(\mathbb{R}^d)$ under certain affine IFS, and show the variational principle about the projection pressure. Furthermore we check that the unique zero root of "projection pressure" still satisfies Bowen's equation when each $S_i$ is the similar map with the same compression ratio. Using the root of Bowen's equation, we can get the Hausdorff dimension of the attractor $K$.

Topological pressures for $ε$-stable and stable sets

Topological pressures of the preimages of $ε$-stable sets and some certain closed subsets of stable sets in positive entropy systems are investigated. It is showed that the topological pressure of any topological system can be calculated in terms of the topological pressure of the preimages of $ε$-stable sets. For the constructed closed subset of the stable set or the unstable set of any point in a measure-theoretic `rather big' set of a topological system with positive entropy, especially for the weakly mixing subset contained in the closure of stable set and unstable set, it is proved that topological pressures of these subsets can be no less than the measure-theoretic pressure.
