Baryogenesis from leptomesons

Various new physics models, e.g., theories of compositeness, can accommodate the color singlet excited leptons that interact with the leptons, quarks, leptoquarks, etc. A particular type of excited lepton, which at low energies interacts with the Standard Model fermions mainly through the four-fermion coupling to lepton and quark-antiquark (or lepton-antilepton) pair, we call leptomeson. These new particles may contribute to variety of the experimental anomalies such as the discrepancy in the muon g-2. We propose that the leptomesons can generate also the baryon asymmetry that explains the imbalance in ordinary matter and antimatter in the observable universe. We consider the two types of scenarios for this baryogenesis via leptogenesis to occur from either leptomeson oscillations or decays. Both possibilities do not contradict to the small masses of the observable neutrinos and the proton stability. Moreover they can be relevant for the near future collider experiments and do not suffer from the gravitino problem.

Earth Matter Effect on Democratic Neutrinos

The neutrino propagation through the Earth is investigated in the framework of the democratic neutrino theory. In this theory the neutrino mixing angle theta-1-3 is approximately determined, which allows one to make a well defined neutrino oscillogram driven by the 1-3 mixing in the matter of the Earth. Significant differences in this oscillogram from the case of models with relatively small theta-1-3 are discussed.

Leptomeson contribution to the muon g-2

Many models on the market allow for particles carrying both lepton number and color, e.g., leptoquarks and leptogluons. Some of the models with this feature can also accommodate color-singlet leptohadrons. We have found that the long-standing discrepancy between the experimental result and the Standard Model prediction for the muon anomalous magnetic moment can be explained by the effect of leptomesons within the wide allowed range of their masses and couplings. These new particles are testable at the current run of the LHC.

Leptogluons in dilepton production at LHC

In the composite models with colored substructure of the fermions the color singlet leptons are accompanied by a composite color octet partners, which are known as leptogluons. We consider the effect of leptogluons in the dilepton production at the LHC and show that in the reachable parameter range this effect is typically dominated by t-channel leptogluon exchange (indirect channel). We show that this channel alone can give a sizable contribution to the dimuon production at the LHC for TeV scale values of the invariant mass of the muon-antimuon pairs.

Democratic Neutrino Theory

New theory of neutrino masses and mixing is introduced. This theory is based on a simple S_3 symmetric democratic neutrino mass matrix, and predicts the neutrino mass spectrum of normal ordering. Taking into account the matter effect and proper averaging of the oscillations, this theory agrees with the variety of atmospheric, solar and accelerator neutrino data. Moreover, the absolute scale of the neutrino masses m of 0.03 eV is determined in this theory, using the atmospheric neutrino oscillation data. In case of tiny perturbations in the democratic mass matrix only one this scale parameter m allows to explain the mentioned above neutrino results, and the theory has huge predictive power.

Neutrino Democratic Masses, Mixing and Incoherence

It is shown that the well established and confirmed neutrino experimental results, such as atmospheric neutrino oscillations and solar neutrino deficit, can be easily explained for "democratic" left-handed Majorana neutrinos, taking into account the effect of incoherence. In this model the absolute values of the neutrino masses can be extracted from the atmospheric neutrino oscillation data, which gives the mass spectrum close to {0.03 eV, 0.03 eV, 0.06 eV}. The predictions of the considered model and its further testing are discussed.

New Results on Neutrino Magnetic Moments and on Democratic Neutrinos

I discuss the two separate issues on neutrino physics. First, the new bounds on tensorial couplings of neutrinos to charged fermions from the existing limits on neutrino transition magnetic moments. Second, explanation of the atmospheric and solar neutrino data in the democratic neutrino theory with only one free parameter (in the leading order), using the effect of incoherence.

New Solution for Neutrino Masses and Leptogenesis in Adjoint SU(5)

We investigate baryogenesis via leptogenesis and generation of neutrino masses and mixings through the Type I plus Type III seesaw plus an one-loop mechanism in the context of Renormalizable Adjoint SU(5) theory. One light neutrino remains massless, because the contributions of three heavy Majorana fermions ρ_0, ρ_3 and ρ_8 to the neutrino mass matrix are not linearly independent. However none of these heavy fermions is decoupled from the generation of neutrino masses. This opens a new range in parameter space for successful leptogenesis, in particular, allows for inverted hierarchy of the neutrino masses.
