Local behavior for solutions to anisotropic weighted quasilinear degenerate parabolic equations

This paper aims to study the local behavior of solutions to a class of anisotropic weighted quasilinear degenerate parabolic equations with the weights comprising two power-type weights of different dimensions. We first capture the asymptotic behavior of the solution near the singular or degenerate point of the weights. In particular, we find an explicit upper bound on the decay rate exponent determined by the structures of the equations and weights, which can be achieved under certain condition and meanwhile reflects the damage effect of the weights on the regularity of the solution. Furthermore, we prove the local Hölder regularity of solutions to non-homogeneous parabolic $p$-Laplace equations with single power-type weights.

Construction of solutions to the 3D Euler equations with initial data in $H^β$ for $β>0$

In this paper, we use the method of convex integration to construct infinitely many distributional solutions in $H^β$ for $0<β\ll1$ to the initial value problem for the three-dimensional incompressible Euler equations. We show that if the initial data has any small fractional derivative in $L^2$, then we can construct solutions with some regularity, so that the corresponding $L^2$ energy is continuous in time. This is distinct from the $L^2$ existence result of E. Wiedemann, Ann. Inst. Henri Poincaré, Anal. Non Linéaire 28, No. 5, 727--730 (2011; Zbl 1228.35172), where the energy is discontinuous at $0$.

Singular analysis of the stress concentration in the narrow regions between the inclusions and the matrix boundary

We consider the Lamé system arising from high-contrast composite materials whose inclusions (fibers) are nearly touching the matrix boundary. The stress, which is the gradient of the solution, always concentrates highly in the narrow regions between the inclusions and the external boundary. This paper aims to provide a complete characterization in terms of the singularities of the stress concentration by accurately capturing all the blow-up factor matrices and making clear the dependence on the Lamé constants and the curvature parameters of geometry. Moreover, the precise asymptotic expansions of the stress concentration are also presented in the presence of a strictly convex inclusion close to touching the external boundary for the convenience of application.

Soliton resolution for the energy critical wave equation with inverse-square potential in the radial case

In this paper, we establish the soliton resolution for the energy critical wave equation with inverse square potential in the radial case and in all dimensions $N\geq3$. The structure of the radial linear operator $\mathcal{L}_a :=-Δ+\frac{a}{|x|^2}=A^*A$, is essential for the channel of energy, where $A$ is a first order differential operator and $A^*$ is its adjoint operator. Modulation and analysis of the multi-solitons are performed in the function spaces $\dot{H}^1_a(\Bbb R^N)\times L^2(\Bbb R^N)$ associated with $\mathcal{L}_a$.

Stress concentration factors for the Lamé system arising from composites

For two neighbouring stiff inclusions, the stress, which is the gradient of a solution to the Lamé system of linear elasticity, may exhibit singular behavior as the distance between these two inclusions becomes arbitrarily small. In this paper, a family of stress concentration factors, which determine whether the stress will blow up or not, are accurately constructed in the presence of the generalized $m$-convex inclusions in all dimensions. We then use these stress concentration factors to establish the optimal upper and lower bounds on the stress blow-up rates in any dimension and meanwhile give a precise asymptotic expression of the stress concentration for interfacial boundaries of inclusions with different principal curvatures in dimension three. Finally, the corresponding results for the perfect conductivity problem are also presented.

On the $C_0$ semigroup generated by the Oseen operator around a steady flow exterior to a rotating obstacle

We consider the motion of an incompressible viscous fluid filling the whole space exterior to a moving with rotation and translation obstacle. We show that the Stokes operator around the steady flow in the exterior of this obstacle generates a $C_0$-semigroup in $L^p$ space and then develop a series of $L^p$-$L^q$ estimates of such semigroup. As an application, we give out the stability of such steady flow when the initial disturbance in $L^3$ and the steady flow are sufficiently small.

Global well-posedness for the defocusing Hartree equation with radial data in $\mathbb R^4$

By $I$-method, the interaction Morawetz estimate, long time Strichartz estimate and local smoothing effect of Schrödinger operator, we show global well-posedness and scattering for the defocusing Hartree equation $$\left\{ \begin{array}{ll} iu_t + Δu &=F(u), \quad (t,x) \in \mathbb{R} \times \mathbb{R}^4 u(0) \\ &=u_0(x)\in H^s(\mathbb{R}^4), \end{array} \right. $$ where $F(u)= (V* |u|^2) u$, and $V(x)=|x|^{-γ}$, $3< γ<4$, with radial data in $H^{s}(\mathbb{R}^4)$ for $s>s_c:=γ/2-1$. It is a sharp global result except of the critical case $s=s_c$, which is a very difficult open problem.

The global well-posedness and scattering for the $5$D defocusing conformal invariant NLW with radial initial data in a critical Besov space

In this paper, we obtain the global well-posedness and scattering for the radial solution to the defocusing conformal invariant nonlinear wave equation with initial data in the critical Besov space $\dot{B}^3_{1,1}\times\dot{B}^2_{1,1}(\mathbb{R}^5)$. This is the five dimensional analogue of \cite{dodson-2016}, which is the first result on the global well-posedness and scattering of the energy subcritical nonlinear wave equation without the uniform boundedness assumption on the critical Sobolev norms employed as a substitute of the missing conservation law with respect to the scaling invariance of the equation. The proof is based on exploiting the structure of the radial solution, developing the Strichartz-type estimates and incorporation of the strategy in \cite{dodson-2016}, where we also avoid a logarithm-type loss by employing the inhomogeneous Strichartz estimates.

Global well-posedness for the two-dimensional Maxwell-Navier-Stokes equations

In this paper, we investigate Cauchy problem of the two-dimensional full Maxwell-Navier-Stokes system, and prove the global-in-time existence and uniqueness of solution in the borderline space which is very close to $L^2$-energy space by developing the new estimate of $\sup_{j\in\mathbb Z} 2^{2j} \int_0^t \sum_{k\in\mathbb{Z}^2} \big\| \sqrt{ϕ_{i,k}} u(τ) \big\|^2_{L^2(\mathbb{R}^2)} \text{d}τ< \infty$. This solves the open problem in the framework of borderline space purposed by Masmoudi in \cite{Masmoudi-10}.

The dynamics of the NLS with the combined terms in five and higher dimensions

In this paper, we continue the study in \cite{MiaoWZ:NLS:3d Combined} to show the scattering and blow-up result of the solution for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with the energy below the threshold $m$ in the energy space $H^1(\R^d)$, iu_t + Δu = -|u|^{4/(d-2)}u + |u|^{4/(d-1)}u, \; d\geq 5. \tag{CNLS} The threshold is given by the ground state $W$ for the energy-critical NLS: $iu_t + Δu = -|u|^{4/(d-2)}u$. Compared with the argument in \cite{MiaoWZ:NLS:3d Combined}, the new ingredient is that we use the double duhamel formula in \cite{Kiv:Clay Lecture, TaoVZ:NLS:mass compact} to lower the regularity of the critical element in $L^{\infty}_tH^1_x$ to $L^{\infty}\dot H^{-ε}_x$ for some $ε>0$ in five and higher dimensions and obtain the compactness of the critical element in $L^2_x$, which is used to control the spatial center function $x(t)$ of the critical element and furthermore used to defeat the critical element in the reductive argument.

An improved maximal inequality for 2D fractional order Schrödinger operators

The local maximal inequality for the Schrödinger operators of order $\a>1$ is shown to be bounded from $H^s(\R^2)$ to $L^2$ for any $s>\frac38$. This improves the previous result of Sjölin on the regularity of solutions to fractional order Schrödinger equations. Our method is inspired by Bourgain's argument in case of $\a=2$. The extension from $\a=2$ to general $\a>1$ confronts three essential obstacles: the lack of Lee's reduction lemma, the absence of the algebraic structure of the symbol and the inapplicable Galilean transformation in the deduction of the main theorem. We get around these difficulties by establishing a new reduction lemma at our disposal and analyzing all the possibilities in using the separateness of the segments to obtain the analogous bilinear $L^2-$estimates. To compensate the absence of Galilean invariance, we resort to Taylor's expansion for the phase function. The Bourgain-Guth inequality in \cite{ref Bourgain Guth} is also rebuilt to dominate the solution of fractional order Schrödinger equations.

On Wolff's $L^{\frac{5}{2}}-$Kakeya maximal inequality in $\R^3$

We reprove Wolff's $L^{\frac{5}2}-$ bound for the $\R^3-$Kakeya maximal function without appealing to the argument of induction on scales. The main ingredient in our proof is an adaptation of Sogge's strategy used in the work on Nikodym-type sets in curved spaces. Although the equivalence between these two type maximal functions is well known, our proof may shed light on some new geometric observations which is interesting in its own right.

Scattering theory below energy space for two dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger equation

The purpose of this paper is to illustrate the I-method by studying low-regularity solutions of the nonlinear Schr\'[o]dinger equation in two space dimensions. By applying this method, together with the interaction Morawetz estimate, (see [J. Colliander, M. Grillakis and N. Tzirakis, Tensor products and correlation estimates with applications to nonlinear Schrödinger equations, Commun. Pure Appl. Math. 62(2009)920-968; F. Planchon and L. Vega, Bilinear virial identities and applications, Ann. Sci. Ecole Norm. Sup. 42(2009)261-290]), establish global well-posedness and scattering for low-regularity solutions of the equation $iu_t + Δu = λ_1|u|^{p_1} u + λ_2|u|^{p_2} u$ under certain assumptions on parameters. This is the first result of this type for an equation which is not scale-invariant. In the first step, we establish global well-posedness and scattering for low regularity solutions of the equation $iu_t + Δu = |u|^p u$, for a suitable range of the exponent $p$ extending the result of Colliander, Grillakis and Tzirakis [Commun. Pure Appl. Math. 62(2009)920-968].

Scattering theory for the radial $\dot H^{1/2}$-critical wave Equation with a cubic convolution

In this paper, we study the global well-posedness and scattering for the wave equation with a cubic convolution $\partial_{t}^2u-Δu=\pm(|x|^{-3}\ast|u|^2)u$ in dimensions $d\geq4$. We prove that if the radial solution $u$ with life-span $I$ obeys $(u,u_t)\in L_t^\infty(I;\dot H^{1/2}_x(\mathbb R^d)\times\dot H^{-1/2}_x(\mathbb R^d))$, then $u$ is global and scatters. By the strategy derived from concentration compactness, we show that the proof of the global well-posedness and scattering is reduced to disprove the existence of two scenarios: soliton-like solution and high to low frequency cascade. Making use of the No-waste Duhamel formula and double Duhamel trick, we deduce that these two scenarios enjoy the additional regularity by the bootstrap argument of [Dodson,Lawrie, Anal.PDE, 8(2015), 467-497]. This together with virial analysis implies the energy of such two scenarios is zero and so we get a contradiction.

Maximal estimates for Schroedinger equation with inverse-square potential

In this paper, we consider the maximal estimates for the solution to an initial value problem of the linear Schroedinger equation with a singular potential. We show a result about the pointwise convergence of solutions to this special variable coefficient Schroedinger equation with initial data $u_0\in H^{s}(\R^n)$ for $s>1/2$ or radial initial data $u_0\in H^{s}(\R^n)$ for $s\geq1/4$ and the solution does not converge when $s<1/4$.

The Defocusing Energy-Critical Wave Equation with a Cubic Convolution

In this paper, we study the theory of the global well-posedness and scattering for the energy-critical wave equation with a cubic convolution nonlinearity $u_{tt}-Δu+(|x|^{-4}\ast|u|^2)u=0$ in spatial dimension $d \geq 5$. The main difficulties are the absence of the classical finite speed of propagation (i.e. the monotonic local energy estimate on the light cone), which is a fundamental property to show the global well-posedness and then to obtain scattering for the wave equations with the local nonlinearity $u_{tt}-Δu+|u|^\frac4{d-2}u=0$. To compensate it, we resort to the extended causality and utilize the strategy derived from concentration compactness ideas. Then, the proof of the global well-posedness and scattering is reduced to show the nonexistence of the three enemies: finite time blowup; soliton-like solutions and low-to-high cascade. We will utilize the Morawetz estimate, the extended causality and the potential energy concentration to preclude the above three enemies.

Global well-posedness for axisymmetric Boussinesq system with horizontal viscosity

In this paper, we are concerned with the tridimensional anisotropic Boussinesq equations which can be described by {equation*} {{array}{ll} (\partial_{t}+u\cdot\nabla)u-κΔ_{h} u+\nabla Π=ρe_{3},\quad(t,x)\in\mathbb{R}^{+}\times\mathbb{R}^{3}, (\partial_{t}+u\cdot\nabla)ρ=0, \text{div}u=0. {array}. {equation*} Under the assumption that the support of the axisymmetric initial data $ρ_{0}(r,z)$ does not intersect the axis $(Oz)$, we prove the global well-posedness for this system with axisymmetric initial data. We first show the growth of the quantity $\fracρr$ for large time by taking advantage of characteristic of transport equation. This growing property together with the horizontal smoothing effect enables us to establish $H^1$-estimate of the velocity via the $L^2$-energy estimate of velocity and the Maximum principle of density. Based on this, we further establish the estimate for the quantity $\|ω(t)\|_{\sqrt{\mathbb{L}}}:=\sup_{2\leq p<\infty}\frac{\norm{ω(t)}_{L^p(\mathbb{R}^3)}}{\sqrt{p}}<\infty$ which implies $\|\nabla u(t)\|_{\mathbb{L}^{3/2}}:=\sup_{2\leq p<\infty}\frac{\norm{\nabla u(t)}_{L^p(\mathbb{R}^3)}}{p\sqrt{p}}<\infty$. However, this regularity for the flow admits forbidden singularity since $ \mathbb{L}$ (see \eqref{eq-kl} for the definition) seems be the minimum space for the gradient vector field $u(x,t)$ ensuring uniqueness of flow. To bridge this gap, we exploit the space-time estimate about $ \sup_{2\leq p<\infty}\int_0^t\frac{\|\nabla u(τ)\|_{L^p(\mathbb{R}^3)}}{\sqrt{p}}\mathrm{d}τ<\infty$ by making good use of the horizontal smoothing effect and micro-local techniques. The global well-posedness for the large initial data is achieved by establishing a new type space-time logarithmic inequality.

On the ill-posedness of the compressible Navier-Stokes equations in the critical Besov spaces

We prove the ill-posedness of the 3-D baratropic Navier-Stokes equation for the initial density and velocity belonging to the critical Besov space $(\dot{B}^{\f 3p}_{p,1}+\barρ,\,\dot{B}^{\f 3p-1}_{p,1})$ for $p>6$ in the sense that a ``norm inflation" happens in finite time, here $\barρ$ is a positive constant. Our argument also shows that the compressible viscous heat-conductive flows is ill-posed for the initial density, velocity and temperature belonging to the critical Besov space $(\dot{B}^{\f 3p}_{p,1}+\barρ,\,\dot{B}^{\f 3p-1}_{p,1},\,\dot{B}^{\f 3p-2}_{p,1})$ for $p>3$. These results shows that the compressible Navier-Stokes equations are ill-posed in the smaller critical spaces compared with the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations.

Scattering theory below energy for the cubic fourth-order Schrödinger equation

We investigate the global existence and scattering for the cubic fourth-order Schrödinger equation $iu_t+Δ^2u+|u|^2u=0$ in the low regularity space $H^s(\R^n)$ with $s<2$. We provide an alternative approach to obtain a new interaction Morawetz estimate and extend the range of the dimension of the interactive estimate in Pausader \cite{P08} by modifying a tensor product method appeared in \cite{CGT}. We combine interaction Morawetz estimates, energy increments for the I-method to prove the result.

Scattering theory for the defocusing fourth-order Schrödinger equation

In this paper, we study the global well-posedness and scattering theory for the defocusing fourth-order nonlinear Schrödinger equation (FNLS) $iu_t+Δ^2 u+|u|^pu=0$ in dimension $d\geq9$. We prove that if the solution $u$ is apriorily bounded in the critical Sobolev space, that is, $u\in L_t^\infty(I;\dot H^{s_c}_x(\R^d))$ with all $s_c:=\frac{d}2-\frac4p\geq1$ if $p$ is an even integer or $s_c\in[1,2+p)$ otherwise, then $u$ is global and scatters. The impetus to consider this problem stems from a series of recent works for the energy-supercritical and energy-subcritical nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLS) and nonlinear wave equation (NLW). We will give a uniform way to treat the energy-subcritical, energy-critical and energy-supercritical FNLS, where we utilize the strategy derived from concentration compactness ideas to show that the proof of the global well-posedness and scattering is reduced to exclude the existence of three scenarios: finite time blowup; soliton-like solution and low to high frequency cascade. Making use of the No-waste Duhamel formula, we deduce that the energy or mass of the finite time blow-up solution is zero and so get a contradiction. Finally, we adopt the double Duhamel trick, the interaction Morawetz estimate and interpolation to kill the last two scenarios.

The defocusing energy-supercritical NLS in four space dimensions

We consider a class of defocusing energy-supercritical nonlinear Schrödinger equations in four space dimensions. Following a concentration-compactness approach, we show that for $1<s_c<3/2$, any solution that remains bounded in the critical Sobolev space $\dot{H}_x^{s_c}(\R^4)$ must be global and scatter. Key ingredients in the proof include a long-time Strichartz estimate and a frequency-localized interaction Morawetz inequality.

On the global well-posedness for the Boussinesq system with horizontal dissipation

In this paper, we investigate the Cauchy problem for the tridimensional Boussinesq equations with horizontal dissipation. Under the assumption that the initial data is an axisymmetric without swirl, we prove the global well-posedness for this system. In the absence of vertical dissipation, there is no smoothing effect on the vertical derivatives. To make up this shortcoming, we first establish a magic relationship between $\frac{u^{r}}{r}$ and $\frac{ω_θ}{r}$ by taking full advantage of the structure of the axisymmetric fluid without swirl and some tricks in harmonic analysis. This together with the structure of the coupling of \eqref{eq1.1} entails the desired regularity.

Scattering for the beam equation

In this paper, we study the scattering for the nonlinear beam equation $u_{tt}+Δ^2u+mu+μ|u|^{p-1}u=0$. Our results include two aspects. In the defocusing case we show that the scattering holds for $d=1$, which extends the result in \cite{Pau-Beam} to one dimension. In the focusing case, we show that the scattering holds in $\R^d (d\ge 1)$ when the energy $E(u_0,u_1)<E(R,0)$ and $\|Δ u_0\|_{L^2}^2+m\|u_0\|_{L^2}^2<\|ΔR\|_{L^2}^2+m\|R\|_{L^2}^2$ for ground state $R$. The difficulties lie the absence of the scaling invariance and a Galilean transformation for the equation to control the Momentum vector.

The 2D incompressible Boussinesq equations with general critical dissipation

This paper aims at the global regularity problem concerning the 2D incompressible Boussinesq equations with general critical dissipation. The critical dissipation refers to $α+β=1$ when $Λ^α\equiv (-Δ)^{\fracα{2}}$ and $Λ^β$ represent the fractional Laplacian dissipation in the velocity and the temperature equations, respectively. We establish the global regularity for the general case with $α+β=1$ and $0.9132\approx α_0<α<1$. The cases when $α=1$ and when $α=0$ were previously resolved by Hmidi, Keraani and Rousset \cite{HKR1,HKR2}. The global existence and uniqueness is achieved here by exploiting the global regularity of a generalized critical surface quasi-gesotrophic equation as well as the regularity of a combined quantity of the vorticity and the temperature.

Dynamics for the focusing, energy-critical nonlinear Hartree equation

In \cite{LiMZ:e-critical Har, MiaoXZ:09:e-critical radial Har}, the dynamics of the solutions for the focusing energy-critical Hartree equation have been classified when $E(u_0)<E(W)$, where $W$ is the ground state. In this paper, we continue the study on the dynamics of the radial solutions with the threshold energy. Our arguments closely follow those in \cite{DuyMerle:NLS:ThresholdSolution, DuyMerle:NLW:ThresholdSolution, DuyRouden:NLS:ThresholdSolution, LiZh:NLS, LiZh:NLW}. The new ingredient is that we show that the positive solution of the nonlocal elliptic equation in $L^{\frac{2d}{d-2}}(\R^d)$ is regular and unique by the moving plane method in its global form, which plays an important role in the spectral theory of the linearized operator and the dynamics behavior of the threshold solution.

Energy Scattering for a Klein-Gordon Equation with a Cubic Convolution

In this paper, we study the global well-posedness and scattering problem in the energy space for both focusing and defocusing the Klein-Gordon-Hartree equation in the spatial dimension $d \geq 3$. The main difficulties are the absence of an interaction Morawetz-type estimate and of a Lorentz invariance which enable one to control the momentum. To compensate, we utilize the strategy derived from concentration compactness ideas, which was first introduced by Kenig and Merle \cite{KM} to the scattering problem. Furthermore, employing technique from \cite{Pa2}, we consider a virial-type identity in the direction orthogonal to the momentum vector so as to control the momentum in the defocusing case. While in the focusing case, we show that the scattering holds when the initial data $(u_0,u_1)$ is radial, and the energy $E(u_0,u_1)<E(\mathcal{W},0)$ and $\|\nabla u_0\|_2^2+\|u_0\|_2^2<\|\nabla \mathcal{W}\|_2^2+\|\mathcal{W}\|_2^2$, where $\mathcal{W}$ is the ground state.

Global Wellposedness for a Modified Critical Dissipative Quasi-Geostrophic Equation

In this paper we consider the following modified quasi-geostrophic equation \partial_{t}θ+u\cdot\nablaθ+ν|D|^αθ=0, \quad u=|D|^{α-1}\mathcal{R}^{\bot}θ,\quad x\in\mathbb{R}^2 with $ν>0$ and $α\in ]0,1[\,\cup \,]1,2[$. When $α\in]0,1[$, the equation was firstly introduced by Constantin, Iyer and Wu in \cite{ref ConstanIW}. Here, by using the modulus of continuity method, we prove the global well-posedness of the system with the smooth initial data. As a byproduct, we also show that for every $α\in ]0,2[$, the Lipschitz norm of the solution has a uniform exponential bound.

The dynamics of the 3D radial NLS with the combined terms

In this paper, we show the scattering and blow-up result of the radial solution with the energy below the threshold for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLS) with the combined terms iu_t + Δu = -|u|^4u + |u|^2u \tag{CNLS} in the energy space $H^1(\R^3)$. The threshold is given by the ground state $W$ for the energy-critical NLS: $iu_t + Δu = -|u|^4u$. This problem was proposed by Tao, Visan and Zhang in \cite{TaoVZ:NLS:combined}. The main difficulty is the lack of the scaling invariance. Illuminated by \cite{IbrMN:f:NLKG}, we need give the new radial profile decomposition with the scaling parameter, then apply it into the scattering theory. Our result shows that the defocusing, $\dot H^1$-subcritical perturbation $|u|^2u$ does not affect the determination of the threshold of the scattering solution of (CNLS) in the energy space.

Global well-posedness for Schrödinger equation with derivative in $H^{1/2}(\R)$

In this paper, we consider the Cauchy problem of the cubic nonlinear Schrödinger equation with derivative in $H^s(\R)$. This equation was known to be the local well-posedness for $s\geq \frac12$ (Takaoka,1999), ill-posedness for $s<\frac12$ (Biagioni and Linares, 2001, etc.) and global well-posedness for $s>\frac12$ (I-team, 2002). In this paper, we show that it is global well-posedness in $H^{1/2(\R)$. The main approach is the third generation I-method combined with some additional resonant decomposition technique. The resonant decomposition is applied to control the singularity coming from the resonant interaction.

Global well-posedness for the micropolar fluid system in the critical Besov spaces

We prove the global well-posedness for the 3-D micropolar fluid system in the critical Besov spaces by making a suitable transformation to the solutions and using the Fourier localization method, especially combined with a new $L^p$ estimate for the Green matrix to the linear system of the transformed equation. This result allows to construct global solutions for a class of highly oscillating initial data of Cannone's type. Meanwhile, we analyze the long behavior of the solutions and get some decay estimates.

Global well-posedness and scattering for the energy-critical, defocusing Hartree equation in $\mathbb{R}^{1+n}$

Using the same induction on energy argument in both frequency space and spatial space simultaneously as in \cite{CKSTT07}, \cite{RyV05} and \cite{Vi05}, we obtain global well-posedness and scattering of energy solutions of defocusing energy-critical nonlinear Hartree equation in $\mathbb{R}\times \mathbb{R}^n$($n\geq 5$), which removes the radial assumption on the data in \cite{MiXZ07a}. The new ingredients are that we use a modified long time perturbation theory to obtain the frequency localization (Proposition \ref{freqdelocaimplystbound} and Corollary \ref{frequencylocalization}) of the minimal energy blow up solutions, which can not be obtained from the classical long time perturbation and bilinear estimate and that we obtain the spatial concentration of minimal energy blow up solution after proving that $L^{\frac{2n}{n-2}}_x$-norm of minimal energy blow up solutions is bounded from below, the $L^{\frac{2n}{n-2}}_x$-norm is larger than the potential energy.

Global well-posedness for the compressible Navier-Stokes equations with the highly oscillating initial velocity

Cannone \cite{Cannone} proved the global well-posedness of the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations for a class of highly oscillating data. In this paper, we prove the global well-posedness for the compressible Navier-Stokes equations in the critical functional framework with the initial data close to a stable equilibrium. Especially, this result allows us to construct global solutions for the highly oscillating initial velocity. The proof relies on a new estimate for the hyperbolic/parabolic system with convection terms.

On global solution to the Klein-Gordon-Hartree equation below energy space

In this paper, we consider the Cauchy problem for Klein-Gordon equation with a cubic convolution nonlinearity in $\R^3$. By making use of Bourgain's method in conjunction with a precise Strichartz estimate of S.Klainerman and D.Tataru, we establish the $H^s (s<1)$ global well-posedness of the Cauchy problem for the cubic convolution defocusing Klein-Gordon-Hartree equation. Before arriving at the previously discussed conclusion, we obtain global solution for this non-scaling equation with small initial data in $H^{s_0}\times H^{s_0-1}$ where $s_0=\fracγ6$ but not $\frac\gamma2-1$, for this equation that we consider is a subconformal equation in some sense. In doing so a number of nonlinear prior estimates are already established by using Bony's decomposition, flexibility of Klein-Gordon admissible pairs which are slightly different from that of wave equation and a commutator estimate. We establish this commutator estimate by exploiting cancellation property and utilizing Coifman and Meyer multilinear multiplier theorem. As far as we know, it seems that this is the first result on low regularity for this Klein-Gordon-Hartree equation.

Of course, we require that the mass is strictly less than that of the ground state in the focusing case. The main approach is the "I-method" together with the multilinear correction analysis. Moreover, we use some "partially refined" argument to lower the upper control of the multiplier in the resonant interactions. The result improves the previous works of Fonseca, Linares, Ponce (2003) and Farah (2009).

On the blow up phenomenon for the $L^2$-critical focusing Hartree equation in $\Bbb R^4$

We characterize the dynamics of the finite time blow up solutions with minimal mass for the focusing mass critical Hartree equation with $H^1(\mathbb{R}^4)$ data and $L^2(\mathbb{R}^4)$ data, where we make use of the refined Gagliardo-Nirenberg inequality of convolution type and the profile decomposition. Moreover, we also analyze the mass concentration phenomenon of such blow up solutions.
