Spinors in cylindrically symmetric space-time

We studied the behavior of nonlinear spinor field within the scope of a static cylindrically symmetric space-time. It is found that the energy-momentum tensor (EMT) of the spinor field in this case possesses nontrivial non-diagonal components. The presence of non-diagonal components of the EMT imposes three-way restrictions wither on the space-time geometry or on the components of the spinor field or on both. It should be noted that analogical situation occurs in cosmology when nonlinear spinor field is exploited as a source of gravitational field given by Bianchi type-I cosmological model.

Non-minimally coupled nonlinear spinor field in Bianchi type-I cosmology

Within the scope of Bianchi type-$I$ cosmological model we have studied the role of spinor field in the evolution of the Universe. In doing so we have considered the case with non-minimal coupling. It was found that the non-diagonal components of the energy-momentum tensor of the spinor field, hence the restrictions on the space-time geometry remain the same as in case of minimal coupling. Since in this case the diagonal components of the energy-momentum tensor differ, the evolution of the corresponding universe also differs. For example, while a linear spinor field with non-minimal coupling or nonlinear spinor field with minimal coupling give rise to open universe, a nonlinear spinor field with non-minimal coupling with the same parameters can generate close universe that at the beginning expands, and after attaining some maximum value begin to contract and finally ends in a Big Crunch.

Non-minimally coupled nonlinear spinor field in FRW cosmology

Within the scope of a FRW cosmological model we have studied the role of spinor field in the evolution of the Universe when it is non-minimally coupled to the gravitational one. We have considered a few types of nonlinearity. It was found that if the spinor field nonlinearity describes an ordinary matter such as radiation, the presence of non-minimality becomes essential and leads to the rapid expansion of the Universe, whereas if the spinor field nonlinearity describes a dark energy, the evolution of the Universe is dominated by it and the difference between the minimal and non-minimally coupled cases become almost indistinguishable.

Spinor fields in spherical symmetry. Einstein-Dirac and other space-times

We discuss the static spherically symmetric Einstein-spinor field system in the possible presence of various spinor field nonlinearities. We take into account that the spinor field energy-momentum tensor (EMT) has in general some off-diagonal components, whose vanishing due to the Einstein equations substantially affects the form of the spinor field itself and the space-time geometry. In particular, the EMT structure with any spinor field nonlinearities turns out to be the same as that of the EMT of a minimally coupled scalar field with a self-interaction potential. Therefore many results previously obtained for systems with such scalar fields are directly extended to the Einstein-spinor field system. Some special solutions are obtained and discussed, in particular, a solution for the Einstein-Dirac system (which lack asymptotic flatness) and some examples with spinor field nonlinearities.

Nonlinear Spinor field in isotropic space-time and dark energy models

Within the scope of isotropic FRW cosmological model the role of nonlinear spinor field in the evolution of the Universe is studied. It is found that unlike in anisotropic cosmological models in the present case the spinor field does not possess nontrivial non-diagonal components of energy-momentum tensor, consequently does not impose any additional restrictions on the components of the spinor field or metric function. The spinor description of different matter was given and evolution of the Universe corresponding to these sources is illustrated. In the framework of a three fluid system the utility of spinor description of matter is established.

Nonlinear Spinor Fields in Bianchi type-III spacetime

Within the scope of Bianchi type-III spacetime we study the role of spinor field on the evolution of the Universe as well as the influence of gravity on the spinor field. In doing so we have considered a polynomial type of nonlinearity. In this case the spacetime remains locally rotationally symmetric and anisotropic all the time. It is found that depending on the sign of nonlinearity the models allows both accelerated and oscillatory modes of expansion. The non-diagonal components of energy-momentum tensor though impose some restrictions on metric functions and components of spinor field, unlike Bianchi type I, V and $VI_0$ cases, they do not lead to vanishing mass and nonlinear terms of the spinor field.

Nonlinear Spinor Fields in Bianchi type-V spacetime

A self-consistent system of nonlinear spinor and Bianchi type-V anisotropic gravitational fields are investigated. It is found that the presence of nontrivial non-diagonal components of the energy-momentum tensor of the spinor field imposes some severe restrictions to the system. As a result two different solutions are found. In one case the metric functions are similar to each other, i.e., $a_1 \sim a_2 \sim a_3$ and the spinor mass and spinor field nonlinearity do not disappear from the system. In this case the spacetime expands with acceleration in case of a positive self-coupling constant $λ$. A negative $λ$ gives rise to a cyclic or periodical mode of expansion. In the second case the spinor mass and the spinor field nonlinearity vanish and the Universe expands linearly with time.

Nonlinear Spinor Fields in Bianchi type-VI spacetime

Within the scope of Bianchi type-VI cosmological model we study the role of spinor field in the evolution of the Universe. It is found that due to the spinor affine connections the energy-momentum tensor of the spinor field possesses non-diagonal components. The non-triviality of non-diagonal components of the energy-momentum tensor imposes some severe restrictions either on the spinor field or on the metric functions or on both of them. But unlike in cases of Bianchi type-I or $VI_0$, in case of Bianchi type-VI model it does not lead to the elimination of spinor field nonlinearity or mass term in the spinor field Lagrangian. It is also found that depending on the sign of self-coupling constant the model can give rise to late time acceleration or generate oscillatory mode of evolution.

Bianchi type-I transit cosmological models with time dependent gravitational and cosmological constants - reexamined

The present study reexamines the recent work of Pradhan et al. (Indian J. Phys. 88: 757, 2014) and obtained general exact solutions of the Einstein's field equations with variable gravitational and cosmological "constants" for a spatially homogeneous and anisotropic Bianchi type-I space-time. To study the transit behaviour of Universe, we consider a law of variation of scale factor $a(t) = \left(t^{k} e^{t}\right)^{\frac{1}{n}}$ which yields a time dependent deceleration parameter $q = - 1 + \frac{nk}{(k + t)^{2}}$, comprising a class of models that depicts a transition of the universe from the early decelerated phase to the recent accelerating phase. We find that the time dependent deceleration parameter is reasonable for the present day Universe and give an appropriate description of the evolution of the universe. For $n = 0.27k$, we obtain $q_{0} = -0.73$ which is similar to observed value of deceleration parameter at present epoch. It is also observed that for $n \geq 2$ and $k = 1$, we obtain a class of transit models of the universe from early decelerating to present accelerating phase. For $k = 0$, the universe has non-singular origin. In these models, we arrive at the decision that, from the structure of the field equations, the behaviour of cosmological and gravitational constants and are related. Taking into consideration the observational data, we conclude that the cosmological constant behaves as a positive decreasing function of time whereas gravitational constant is increasing and tend to a constant value at late time. $H(z)/(1+z)$ data ($32$ points) and model prediction as a function of redshift for different $k$ and $n$ are successfully presented by using recent data (Farooq and Ratra, Astrophys. J. 66: L7, 2013). Some physical and geometric properties of the models are also discussed.

Fluid sphere: stability problem and dimensional constraint

We study different dimensional fluids inspired by noncommutative geometry which admit conformal Killing vectors. The solutions of the Einstein field equations examined specifically for five different set of spacetime. We calculate the active gravitational mass and impose stability conditions of the fluid sphere. The analysis thus carried out immediately indicates that at $4$-dimension only one can get a stable configuration for any spherically symmetric stellar system and any other dimensions, lower or higher, becomes untenable as far as the stability of a system is concerned.

Nonlinear Spinor Fields in Bianchi type-$VI_0$ spacetime

Within the scope of Bianchi type-$VI_0$ spacetime we study the role of spinor field on the evolution of the Universe. It is found that the presence of nontrivial non-diagonal components of energy-momentum tensor of the spinor field plays vital role on the evolution of the Universe. As a result of their mutual influence there occur two different scenarios. In one case the invariants constructed from the bilinear forms of the spinor field become trivial, thus giving rise to a massless and linear spinor field Lagrangian. According to the second scenario massive and nonlinear terms do not vanish and depending on the sign of coupling constants we have either an expanding mode of expansion or the one that after obtaining some maximum value contracts and ends in big crunch generating spacetime singularity. This result shows that the spinor field is highly sensitive to the gravitational one.

Spinor Field with Polynomial Nonlinearity in LRS Bianchi type-I spacetime

Within the scope of Bianchi type-I cosmological model the role of spinor field on the evolution of the Universe is investigated. In doing so we have considered a polynomial type of nonlinearity. It is found that depending on the sign of self-coupling constant the model allows either accelerated mode of expansion or oscillatory mode of evolution. Unlike general Bianchi type-I and Bianchi type $VI_0$ models in this case neither mass term nor the nonlinear term in the Lagrangian of spinor field vanish.

Interacting Scalar and Electromagnetic Fields in $f(R,\,T)$ Theory of Gravity

Within the scope of $f(R,\,T)$ gravity we have studied the interacting scalar and electromagnetic fields in a Bianchi type I universe. It was found that if the study is confined to the case $f(R,\,T) = R + λf(T)$, the system is completely given by the equations similar to Einstein gravity. Moreover, the present study imposes some severe restrictions on the field equations as well.

Nonlinear Spinor Fields in Bianchi type-I spacetime: Problems and Possibilities

Within the scope of Bianchi type-I cosmological model we study the role of spinor field in the evolution of the Universe. It is found that due to the spinor affine connections the energy momentum tensor of the spinor becomes non-diagonal, whereas the Einstein tensor is diagonal. This non-triviality of non-diagonal components of the energy-momentum tensor imposes some severe restrictions either on the spinor field or on the metric functions or on both of them. In case if the restrictions are imposed on the components of spinor field only, we come to a situation when spinor field becomes massless and invariants constructed from bilinear spinor forms also become trivial. Imposing restriction wholly on metric functions we obtain FRW model, while if the restrictions are imposed both on metric functions and spinor field components, we come to LRS BI model. In both cases the system is solved completely. It was found that if the relation between the pressure and energy density obeys a barotropic equation of state, only a non-trivial spinor mass can give rise to a dynamic EoS parameter.

Bianchi type V bulk viscous cosmological models with particle creation in General Relativity

In this paper, a spatially homogeneous and anisotropic Bianchi type V model filled with an imperfect fluid with bulk viscosity and particle creation, is investigated within the framework of General Relativity. Particle creation and bulk viscosity have been considered as separate irreversible processes. The energy- momentum tensor is modified to accommodate the viscous pressure and creation pressure which is associated with creation of matter out of gravitational field. Exact solutions of the field equations are obtained by applying a special law of variation of Hubble parameter. Using this assumption, we obtain two types of cosmological models. We find a singularity in the first model whereas second model is non-singular. Further we separately study the bulk viscosity and particle creation in each model considering four different cases. The bulk viscosity coefficient $ζ$ is obtained for Truncated, Full Causal and Eckart theories in all cases. All physical parameters are calculated and thoroughly discussed in both models.

Magnetic Bianchi type II string cosmological model in loop quantum cosmology

The loop quantum cosmology of the Bianchi type II string cosmological model in the presence of a homogeneous magnetic field is studied. We present the effective equations which provide modifications to the classical equations of motion due to quantum effects. The numerical simulations confirm that the big bang singularity is resolved by quantum gravity effects.

preprint2013arXiv

Nonlinear Spinor Fields in Bianchi type-I spacetime reexamined

The specific behavior of spinor field in curve space-time with the exception of FRW model almost always gives rise to non-trivial non-diagonal components of the energy-momentum tensor. This non-triviality of non-diagonal components of the energy-momentum tensor imposes some severe restrictions either on the spinor field or on the metric functions. In this paper within the scope of an anisotropic Bianchi type-I Universe we study the role of spinor field in the evolution of the Universe. It is found that there exist two possibilities. In one scenario the initially anisotropic Universe evolves into an isotropic one asymptotically, but in this case the spinor field itself undergoes some severe restrictions. In the second scenario the isotropization takes places almost at the beginning of the process.

Bianchi type VI cosmological models: A Scale-Covariant study

A model for an anisotropic Bianchi type VI universe in a Scale Covariant theory of gravitation (Canuto et al. 1977) is analyzed. A finite singularity is found in the model at the initial time $t=0$. All the physical parameters are studied and thoroughly discussed. The model behaves like a big bang singular model of the universe. This universe model is found to be consistent with the observations on the present day universe.

Bianchi type-V dark energy model with varying EoS parameter

Within the scope of an anisotropic Bianchi type-V cosmological model we have studied the evolution of the universe. The assumption of a diagonal energy-momentum tensor leads to some severe restriction on the metric functions, which on its part imposes restriction on the components of the energy momentum tensor. This model allows anisotropic matter distribution. Further using the proportionality condition that relates the shear scalar $(σ)$ in the model is proportional to expansion scalar $(\vartheta)$ and the variation law of Hubble parameter, connecting Hubble parameter with volume scale. Exact solution to the corresponding equations are obtained. The EoS parameter for dark energy as well as deceleration parameter is found to be the time varying functions. A qualitative picture of the evolution of the universe corresponding to different of its stages is given using the latest observational data.

Within the scope of an anisotropic Bianchi type-VI cosmological model we have studied the evolution of the universe filled with perfect fluid and dark energy. To get the deterministic model of Universe, we assume that the shear scalar $(σ)$ in the model is proportional to expansion scalar $(\vartheta)$. This assumption allows only isotropic distribution of fluid. Exact solution to the corresponding equations are obtained. The EoS parameter for dark energy as well as deceleration parameter is found to be the time varying functions. Using the observational data qualitative picture of the evolution of the universe corresponding to different of its stages is given. The stability of the solutions obtained is also studied.

Dark energy model with variable $q$ and $ω$ in LRS Bianchi-II space-time

The present study deals with spatial homogeneous and anisotropic locally rotationally symmetric (LRS) Bianchi-II dark energy model in general relativity. The Einstein's field equations have been solved exactly by taking into account the proportionality relation between one of the components of shear scalar $(σ^{1}_{1})$ and expansion scalar $(\vartheta)$, which, for some suitable choices of problem parameters, yields time dependent equation of state (EoS) and deceleration parameter (DP), representing a model which generates a transition of universe from early decelerating phase to present accelerating phase. The physical and geometrical behavior of universe have been discussed in detail.

Two-Fluid Scenario for Dark Energy Models in an FRW Universe-Revisited

In this paper we study the evolution of the dark energy parameter within the scope of a spatially homogeneous and isotropic Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) model filled with barotropic fluid and dark energy by revisiting the recent results (Amirhashchi et al. in Chin. Phys. Lett. 28:039801, 2011a). To prevail the deterministic solution we select the scale factor $a(t) = \sqrt{t^{n}e^{t}}$ which generates a time-dependent deceleration parameter (DP), representing a model which generates a transition of the universe from the early decelerating phase to the recent accelerating phase. We consider the two cases of an interacting and non-interacting two-fluid (barotropic and dark energy) scenario and obtained general results. The cosmic jerk parameter in our derived model is also found to be in good agreement with the recent data of astrophysical observations under the suitable condition. The physical aspects of the models and the stability of the corresponding solutions are also discussed.

We study the evolution of the dark energy parameter within the scope of a spatially flat and isotropic Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) model filled with barotropic fluid and dark energy. To obtain the deterministic solution we choose the scale factor $a(t) = \sqrt{t e^{t}}$ which yields a time dependent deceleration parameter (DP). In doing so we consider the case minimally coupled with dark energy to the perfect fluid as well as direct interaction with it.

LRS Bianchi-I Anisotropic Cosmological Model with Dominance of Dark Energy

The present study deals with spatially homogeneous and anisotropic locally rotationally symmetric (LRS) Bianchi type I cosmological model with dominance of dark energy. To get the deterministic model of Universe, we assume that the shear scalar $(σ)$ in the model is proportional to expansion scalar $(θ)$. This condition leads to $A=B^{n}$, where $A$,\;$B$ are metric potential and $n$ is positive constant. It has been found that the anisotropic distribution of dark energy leads to the present accelerated expansion of Universe. The physical behavior of the Universe has been discussed in detail.

Nonlinear Spinor Fields and its role in Cosmology

Exploiting the spinor description of perfect fluid and dark energy evolution of the Universe given by an anisotropic Bianchi type-VI, VI$_0$, V, III, I or isotropic Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) one has been studied. It is shown that due to some restrictions on metric functions, initial anisotropy in the models Bianchi type-VI, VI$_0$, V and III does not die away, while the anisotropic Bianchi type-I models evolves into the isotropic one.

Some remarks on Bianchi type-II, VIII and IX models

Within the scope of anisotropic non-diagonal Bianchi type-II, VIII and IX spacetime it is shown that the off-diagonal components of the corresponding metric impose severe restrictions on the components of the energy momentum tensor in general. Bianchi Type-I Anisotropic Dark Energy Models with Constant Deceleration Parameter

New dark energy models in anisotropic Bianchi type-I (B-I) space-time with variable EoS parameter and constant deceleration parameter have been investigated in the present paper. The Einstein's field equations have been solved by applying a variation law for generalized Hubble's parameter in B-I space-time. The variation law for Hubble's parameter generates two types of solutions for the average scale factor, one is of power-law type and other is of the exponential form. Using these two forms, Einstein's field equations are solved separately that correspond to expanding singular and non-singular models of the universe respectively. The equation of state (EoS) parameter $ω$ is found to be time dependent and its existing range for this model is in good agreement with the recent observations of SNe Ia data, SNe Ia data (with CMBR anisotropy) and galaxy clustering statistics. The cosmological constant $Λ$ is found to be a decreasing function of time and it approaches a small positive value at late time (i.e. the present epoch) which is corroborated by results from recent supernovae Ia observations.

Bianchi type-I model with cosmic string in the presence of a magnetic field: spinor description

A Bianchi type-I cosmological model in the presence of a magnetic flux along a cosmic string is investigated. A nonlinear spinor field is used to simulate the cosmological cloud of strings. It is shown that the spinor field simulation offer the possibility to solve the system of Einstein's equation without any additional assumptions. It is shown that the present model is nonsingular at the end of the evolution and does not allow the anisotropic Universe to turn into an isotropic one.

Bianchi type-II cosmological model: some remarks

Within the framework of Bianchi type-II (BII) cosmological model the behavior of matter distribution has been considered. It is shown that the non-zero off-diagonal component of Einstein tensor implies some severe restriction on the choice of matter distribution. In particular for a locally rotationally symmetric Bianchi type-II (LRS BII) space-time it is proved that the matter distribution should be strictly isotropic if the corresponding matter field possesses only non-zero diagonal components of the energy-momentum tensor.

Bianchi type-VI model with cosmic strings in the presence of a magnetic field

A Bianchi type-VI cosmological model in the presence of a magnetic flux together with a cloud of cosmic strings is considered. In general, the presence of a magnetic field imposes severe restrictions regarding the consistency of the field equations. These difficulties could be overtaken working either in a Bianchi type-VI$_0$ spacetime or assuming a particular coordinate-dependence of the magnetic field. Using a few plausible assumptions regarding the parametrization of the cosmic strings, some exact analytical solutions are presented. Their asymptotic behavior for large time is exhibited.

Electromagnetic field with induced massive term: Case with scalar field

We consider an interacting system of massless scalar and electromagnetic field, with the Lagrangian explicitly depending on the electromagnetic potentials, i.e., interaction with broken gauge invariance. The Lagrangian for interaction is chosen in such a way that the electromagnetic field equation acquires an additional term, which in some cases is proportional to the vector potential of the electromagnetic field. This equation can be interpreted as the equation of motion of photon with induced nonzero rest-mass. This system of interacting fields is considered within the scope of Bianchi type-I (BI) cosmological model. It is shown that, as a result of interaction the electromagnetic field vanishes at $t \to \infty$ and the isotropization process of the expansion takes place.

Scalar field in cosmology: Potential for isotropization and inflation

The important role of scalar field in cosmology was noticed by a number of authors. Due to the fact that the scalar field possesses zero spin, it was basically considered in isotropic cosmological models. If considered in an anisotropic model, the linear scalar field does not lead to isotropization of expansion process. One needs to introduce scalar field with nonlinear potential for the isotropization process to take place. In this paper the general form of scalar field potentials leading to the asymptotic isotropization in case of Bianchi type-I cosmological model, and inflationary regime in case of isotropic space-time is obtained. In doing so we solved both direct and inverse problem, where by direct problem we mean to find metric functions and scalar field for the given potential, whereas, the inverse problem means to find the potential and scalar field for the given metric function. The scalar field potentials leading to the inflation and isotropization were found both for harmonic and proper synchronic time.

Bianchi type I universe with viscous fluid

We study the evolution of a homogeneous, anisotropic Universe given by a Bianchi type-I cosmological model filled with viscous fluid, in the presence of a cosmological constant $Λ$. The role of viscous fluid and $Λ$ term in the evolution the BI space-time is studied. Though the viscosity cannot remove the cosmological singularity, it plays a crucial part in the formation of a qualitatively new behavior of the solutions near singularity. It is shown that the introduction of the $Λ$ term can be handy in the elimination of the cosmological singularity. In particular, in case of a bulk viscosity, it provides an everlasting process of evolution ($Λ< 0$), whereas, for some positive values of $Λ$ and the bulk viscosity being inverse proportional to the expansion, the BI Universe admits a singularity-free oscillatory mode of expansion. In case of a constant bulk viscosity and share viscosity being proportional to expansion, the model allows oscillatory mode accompanied by an exponential growth even with a negative $Λ$. Space-time singularity in this case occurs at $t \to -\infty$.

Bianchi type I universe with viscous fluid: A qualitative analysis

The nature of cosmological solutions for a homogeneous, anisotropic Universe given by a Bianchi type-I (BI) model in the presence of a Cosmological constant $Λ$ is investigated by taking into account dissipative process due to viscosity. The system in question is thoroughly studied both analytically and numerically. It is shown the viscosity, as well as the $Λ$ term exhibit essential influence on the character of the solutions. In particular a negative $Λ$ gives rise to an ever-expanding Universe, whereas, a suitable choice of initial conditions plus a positive $Λ$ can result in a singularity-free oscillatory mode of expansion. For some special cases it is possible to obtain oscillations in the exponential mode of expansion of the BI model even with a negative $Λ$, where oscillations arise by virtue of viscosity.

Bianchi type I cosmology with scalar and spinor fields

We consider a system of interacting spinor and scalar fields in a gravitational field given by a Bianchi type-I cosmological model filled with perfect fluid. The interacting term in the Lagrangian is chosen in the form of derivative coupling, i.e., ${\cal L}_{\rm int} = \fracλ{2} \vf_{,α}\vf^{,α} F$, with $F$ being a function of the invariants $I$ an $J$ constructed from bilinear spinor forms $S$ and $P$. We consider the cases when $F$ is the power or trigonometric functions of its arguments. Self-consistent solutions to the spinor, scalar and BI gravitational field equations are obtained. The problems of initial singularity and asymptotically isotropization process of the initially anisotropic space-time are studied. It is also shown that the introduction of the Cosmological constant ($Λ$-term) in the Lagrangian generates oscillations of the BI model, which is not the case in absence of $Λ$ term. Unlike the case when spinor field nonlinearity is induced by self-action, in the case in question, wehere nonlinearity is induced by the scalar field, there exist regular solutions even without broken dominant energy condition.

Interacting scalar and spinor fields in Bianchi type I universe filled with magneto-fluid

Self-consistent system of spinor, scalar and BI gravitational fields in presence of magneto-fluid and $Λ$-term is considered. Assuming that the expansion of the BI universe is proportional to the $σ_1^1$ component of the shear tensor, exact solutions for the metric functions, as well as for scalar and spinor fields are obtained. For a non-positive $Λ$ the initially anisotropic space-time becomes isotropic one in the process of expansion, whereas, for $Λ> 0$ an oscillatory mode of expansion of the BI model occurs.

Nonlinear spinor field in cosmology

Within the scope of Bianchi type VI (BVI) model the self-consistent system of nonlinear spinor and gravitational fields is considered. Exact self-consistent solutions to the spinor and gravitational field equations are obtained for some special choice of spatial inhomogeneity and nonlinear spinor term. The role of inhomogeneity in the evolution of spinor and gravitational field is studied. Oscillatory mode of expansion of the BVI universe is obtained for some special choice of spinor field nonlinearity.

Spinor Field in Bianchi type-I Universe: regular solutions

Self-consistent solutions to the nonlinear spinor field equations in General Relativity has been studied for the case of Bianchi type-I (B-I) space-time. It has been shown that, for some special type of nonliearity the model provides regular solution, but this singularity-free solutions are attained at the cost of broken dominant energy condition in Hawking-Penrose theorem. It has also been shown that the introduction of $Λ$-term in the Lagrangian generates oscillations of the B-I model, which is not the case in absence of $Λ$ term. Moreover, for the linear spinor field, the $Λ$ term provides oscillatory solutions, those are regular everywhere, without violating dominant energy condition. Dirac Spinor in Bianchi-I Universe with Time Dependent Gravitational and Cosmological Constants

Self-consistent system of nonlinear spinor field and Bianchi I (BI) gravitational one with time dependent gravitational constant ($G$) and cosmological constant ($Λ$) has been studied. The initial and the asymptotic behaviors of the field functions and the metric one have been thoroughly investigated. Given $Λ= Λ_0/τ^2$, with $τ= \sqrt{-g}$, $G$ has been estimated as a function of $τ$. The role of perfect fluid at the initial state of expansion and asymptotical isotropization process of the initailly anisotropic universe has been elucidated.

On the Natural Gauge Fields of Manifolds

The gauge symmetry inherent in the concept of manifold has been discussed. Within the scope of this symmetry the linear connection or displacement field can be considered as a natural gauge field on the manifold. The gauge invariant equations for the displacement field have been derived. It has been shown that the energy-momentum tensor of this field conserves and hence the displacement field can be treated as one that transports energy and gravitates. To show the existence of the solutions of the field equations we have derived the general form of the displacement field in Minkowski space-time which is invariant under rotation and space and time inversion. With this anzats we found spherically-symmetric solutions of the equations in question.
