Josephson Current in Ballistic Graphene Corbino Disk

We solve Dirac-Bogoliubov-De-Gennes (DBdG) equation in a superconductor-normal graphene superconductor (SGS) junction with Corbino disk structure to investigate the Josephson current through this junction. We find that the critical current $I_c$ has a nonzero value at Dirac point in which the concentration of the carriers is zero. We show this nonzero critical current depends on the system geometry and it decreases monotonically to zero by increasing the ratio of the outer to inner radii of the Corbino disk ($R_2/R_1$), while in the limit of $R_2/R_1 \rightarrow 1$ it scales like a diffusive Corbino disk. The product of the critical current and the normal-state resistance $I_cR_N$ attains the same value for the planar structure at zero doping. These results reveals the pseudodiffusive behavior of the graphene Corbino Josephson junction similar to the planar structure.

Efficient charge pumping in graphene

We investigate a graphene quantum pump, adiabatically driven by two thin potential barriers vibrating around their equilibrium positions. For the highly doped leads, the pumped current per mode diverges at the Dirac point due to the more efficient contribution of the evanescent modes in the pumping process. The pumped current shows an oscillatory behavior with an increasing amplitude as a function of the carrier concentration. This effect is in contrast to the decreasing oscillatory behavior of the similar normal pump. The graphene pump driven by two vibrating thin barriers operates more efficient than the graphene pump driven by two oscillating thin barriers.

Shapiro like steps reveals molecular nanomagnets' spin dynamics

We present an accurate way to detect spin dynamics of a nutating molecular nanomagnet by inserting it in a tunnel Josephson junction and studying the current voltage (I-V) characteristic. The spin nutation of the molecular nanomagnet is generated by applying two circularly polarized magnetic fields. We demonstrate that modulation of the Josephson current by the nutation of the molecular nanomagnet's spin appears as a stepwise structure like Shapiro steps in the I-V characteristic of the junction. Width and heights of these Shapiro-like steps are determined by two parameters of the spin nutation, frequency and amplitude of the nutation, which are simply tuned by the applied magnetic fields.
