Higgs/Amplitude Mode Dynamics From Holography

Second order phase transitions are universally driven by an order parameter which becomes trivial at the critical point. At the same time, collective excitations which involve the amplitude of the order parameter develop a gap which smoothly closes to zero at criticality. We develop analytical techniques to study this "Higgs" mode in holographic systems which undergo a continuous phase transition at finite temperature and chemical potential. This allows us to study the linear response of the system at energy scales of the order of the gap. We express the Green's functions of scalar operators in terms of thermodynamic quantities and a single transport coefficient which we fix in terms of black hole horizon data.

Incoherent hydrodynamics and density waves

We consider thermal phases of holographic lattices at finite chemical potential in which a continuous internal bulk symmetry can be spontaneously broken. In the normal phase, translational symmetry is explicitly broken by the lattice and the only conserved quantities are related to time translations and the electric charge. The long wavelength excitations of the corresponding charge densities are described by incoherent hydrodynamics yielding two perturbative modes which are diffusive. In the broken phase an additional hydrodynamic degree of freedom couples to the local chemical potential and temperature and we write an effective theory describing the coupled system at leading order in a derivative expansion.

Holographic Abrikosov Lattices

We study black hole solutions of $D=4$ Einstein-Maxwell theory coupled to a charged scalar field that are holographically dual to a $d=3$ conformal field theory with a non-vanishing chemical potential and constant magnetic field. We numerically construct black hole solutions that are dual to a superfluid phase with a periodic lattice of vortices. For the specific model we investigate, we find that the thermodynamically preferred configuration is given by a triangular lattice and moreover the vortices are associated with the lowest Landau level. We also construct black holes describing a lattice of vortices associated with the next to lowest Landau level and while theses are not thermodynamically preferred they exhibit some interesting features that could be realised for other holographic models.

Hydrodynamics of broken global symmetries in the bulk

We consider holographic theories at finite temperature in which a continuous global symmetry in the bulk is spontaneously broken. We study the linear response of operators in a regime which is dual to time dependent, long wavelength deformations of solutions generated by the symmetry. By computing the boundary theory retarded Green's function we show the existence of a gapless mode with a diffusive dispersion relation. The diffusive character of the mode is compatible with the absence of a conserved charge from the field theory point of view. We give an analytic expression for the corresponding diffusion constant in terms of thermodynamic data and a new transport coefficient $σ_{b}$ which is fixed by the black hole horizon data. After adding a perturbative source on the boundary, we compute the resulting gap $δω_{g}$ as a simple function of $σ_{b}$ and of data of the thermal state.

Boomerang RG flows with intermediate conformal invariance

For a class of $D=5$ holographic models we construct boomerang RG flow solutions that start in the UV at an $AdS_5$ vacuum and end up at the same vacuum in the IR. The RG flows are driven by deformations by relevant operators that explicitly break translation invariance. For specific models, such that they admit another $AdS_5$ solution, $AdS_5^c$, we show that for large enough deformations the RG flows approach an intermediate scaling regime with approximate conformal invariance governed by $AdS^c_5$. For these flows we calculate the holographic entanglement entropy and the entropic $c$-function for the RG flows. The latter is not monotonic, but it does encapsulate the degrees of freedom in each scaling region. For a different set of models, we find boomerang RG flows with intermediate scaling governed by an $AdS_2\times\mathbb{R}^3$ solution which breaks translation invariance. Furthermore, for large enough deformations these models have interesting and novel thermal insulating ground states for which the entropy vanishes as the temperature goes to zero, but not as a power-law. Remarkably, the thermal diffusivity and the butterfly velocity for these new insulating ground states are related via $D=Ev^2_B/(2πT)$, with $E(T)\to 0.5$ as $T\to 0$.

Anisotropic plasmas from axion and dilaton deformations

We construct black hole solutions of type IIB supergravity that are holographically dual to anisotropic plasmas arising from deformations of an infinite class of four-dimensional CFTs. The CFTs are dual to $AdS_5\times X_5$, where $X_5$ is an Einstein manifold, and the deformations involve the type IIB axion and dilaton, with non-trivial periodic dependence on one of the spatial directions of the CFT. At low temperatures the solutions approach smooth domain wall solutions with the same $AdS_5\times X_5$ solution appearing in the far IR. For sufficiently large deformations an intermediate scaling regime appears which is governed by a Lifshitz-like scaling solution. We calculate the DC thermal conductivity and some components of the shear viscosity tensor.

DC Conductivity of Magnetised Holographic Matter

We consider general black hole solutions of Einstein-Maxwell-scalar theory that are holographically dual to conformal field theories at finite charge density with non-vanishing magnetic fields and local magnetisation currents, which generically break translation invariance explicitly. We show that the thermoelectric DC conductivity of the field theory can be obtained by solving a system of generalised Stokes equations on the black hole horizon. For various examples, including Q-lattices and one-dimensional lattices, we solve the Stokes equations explicitly and obtain expressions for the DC conductivity in terms of the solution at the black hole horizon.

Holographic Magnetisation Density Waves

We numerically construct asymptotically $AdS$ black brane solutions of $D=4$ Einstein theory coupled to a scalar and two $U(1)$ gauge fields. The solutions are holographically dual to $d=3$ CFTs in a constant external magnetic field along one of the $U(1)$'s. Below a critical temperature the system's magnetisation density becomes inhomogeneous, leading to spontaneous formation of current density waves. We find that the transition can be of second order and that the solutions which minimise the free energy locally in the parameter space of solutions have averaged stressed tensor of a perfect fluid.

Minimally packed phases in holography

We numerically construct asymptotically AdS black brane solutions of $D=4$ Einstein-Maxwell theory coupled to a pseudoscalar. The solutions are holographically dual to $d=3$ CFTs at finite chemical potential and in a constant magnetic field, which spontaneously break translation invariance leading to the spontaneous formation of abelian and momentum magnetisation currents flowing around the plaquettes of a periodic Bravais lattice. We analyse the three-dimensional moduli space of lattice solutions, which are generically oblique, and show, for a specific value of the magnetic field, that the free energy is minimised by the triangular lattice, associated with minimal packing of circles in the plane. We show that the average stress tensor for the thermodynamically preferred phase is that of a perfect fluid and that this result applies more generally to spontaneously generated periodic phases. The triangular structure persists at low temperatures indicating the existence of novel crystalline ground states.

Conformal field theories in $d=4$ with a helical twist

Within the context of holography we study the general class of $d=4$ conformal field theories after applying a universal helical deformation. At finite temperature we construct the associated black hole solutions of Einstein gravity, numerically, by exploiting a Bianchi $VII_0$ ansatz for the bulk $D=5$ metric. At $T=0$ we show that they flow in the IR to exactly the same CFT. The deformation gives rise to a finite, non-zero DC thermal conductivity along the axis of the helix, which we determine analytically in terms of black hole horizon data. We also calculate the AC thermal conductivity along this axis and show that it exhibits Drude-like peaks.

Magnetothermoelectric Response from Holography

In this note we study the effects of a magnetic field on transport using holographic models with broken translational invariance. We show that, after carefully subtracting off non-trivial magnetisation currents, it is possible to express the DC transport currents of the boundary theory in terms of properties of a black hole horizon. This allows us to obtain simple analytic expressions for the electrical, thermoelectric and heat conductivity tensors. Our results apply to both isotropic and anisotropic models, including holographic Q-lattices and to certain theories where translational invariance is broken by linear sources for axions.

Quantum Critical Transport and the Hall Angle

In this letter we study the Hall conductivity in holographic models where translational invariance is broken by a lattice. We show that generic holographic theories will display a different temperature dependence in the Hall angle as to the DC conductivity. Our results suggest a general mechanism for obtaining an anomalous scaling of the Hall angle in strongly interacting quantum critical systems.

The thermoelectric properties of inhomogeneous holographic lattices

We consider inhomogeneous, periodic, holographic lattices of D=4 Einstein-Maxwell theory. We show that the DC thermoelectric conductivity matrix can be expressed analytically in terms of the horizon data of the corresponding black hole solution. We numerically construct such black hole solutions for lattices consisting of one, two and ten wave-numbers. We numerically determine the AC electric conductivity which reveals Drude physics as well as resonances associated with sound modes. No evidence for an intermediate frequency scaling regime is found. All of the monochromatic lattice black holes that we have constructed exhibit scaling behaviour at low temperatures which is consistent with the appearance of $AdS_2\times\mathbb{R}^2$ in the far IR at T=0.

Thermoelectric DC conductivities and Stokes flows on black hole horizons

We consider a general class of electrically charged black holes of Einstein-Maxwell-scalar theory that are holographically dual to conformal field theories at finite charge density which break translation invariance explicitly. We examine the linearised perturbations about the solutions that are associated with the thermoelectric DC conductivity. We show that there is a decoupled sector at the black hole horizon which must solve generalised Stokes equations for a charged fluid. By solving these equations we can obtain the DC conductivity of the dual field theory. For Q-lattices and one-dimensional lattices we solve the fluid equations to obtain closed form expressions for the DC conductivity in terms of the solution at the black hole horizon. We also determine the leading order DC conductivity for lattices that can be expanded as a perturbative series about translationally invariant solutions.

Flowing from $AdS_5$ to $AdS_3$ with $T^{1,1}$

We construct supersymmetric domain wall solutions of type IIB supergravity that interpolate between $AdS_5\times T^{1,1}$ in the UV and $AdS_3\times\mathbb{R}^2\times S^2\times S^3$ solutions in the IR. The $\mathbb{R}^2$ factor can be replaced with a two-torus and then the solution describes a supersymmetric flow across dimensions, similar to wrapped brane solutions. While the domain wall solutions preserve $(0,2)$ supersymmetry, the $AdS_3$ solutions in the IR have an enhanced $(4,2)$ superconformal supersymmetry and are related by two T-dualities to the $AdS_3\times S^3\times S^3\times S^1$ type IIB solutions which preserve a large $(4,4)$ superconformal supersymmetry. The domain wall solutions exist within the $N=4$ $D=5$ gauged supergravity theory that is obtained from a consistent Kaluza-Klein truncation of type IIB supergravity on $T^{1,1}$; a feature driving the flows is that two $D=5$ axion like fields, residing in the $N=4$ Betti multiplet, depend linearly on the two legs of the $\mathbb{R}^2$ factor.

Holographic Charge Oscillations

The Reissner-Nordstrom black hole provides the prototypical description of a holographic system at finite density. We study the response of this system to the presence of a local, charged impurity. Below a critical temperature, the induced charge density, which screens the impurity, exhibits oscillations. These oscillations can be traced to the singularities in the density-density correlation function moving in the complex momentum plane. At finite temperature, the oscillations are very similar to the Friedel oscillations seen in Fermi liquids. However, at zero temperature the oscillations in the black hole background remain exponentially damped, while Friedel oscillations relax to a power-law

Holographic Metals and Insulators with Helical Symmetry

Homogeneous, zero temperature scaling solutions with Bianchi VII spatial geometry are constructed in Einstein-Maxwell-Dilaton theory. They correspond to quantum critical saddle points with helical symmetry at finite density. Assuming $AdS_{5}$ UV asymptotics, the small frequency/(temperature) dependence of the AC/(DC) electric conductivity along the director of the helix are computed. A large class of insulating and conducting anisotropic phases is found, as well as isotropic, metallic phases. Conduction can be dominated by dissipation due to weak breaking of translation symmetry or by a quantum critical current.

Holographic Q-lattices

We introduce a new framework for constructing black hole solutions that are holographically dual to strongly coupled field theories with explicitly broken translation invariance. Using a classical gravitational theory with a continuous global symmetry leads to constructions that involve solving ODEs. We study in detail $D=4$ Einstein-Maxwell theory coupled to a complex scalar field with a simple mass term. We construct black holes dual to metallic phases which exhibit a Drude-type peak in the optical conductivity, but there is no evidence of an intermediate scaling that has been reported in other holographic lattice constructions. We also construct black holes dual to insulating phases which exhibit a suppression of spectral weight at low frequencies. We show that the model also admits a novel $AdS_3\times\mathbb{R}$ solution.

Novel metals and insulators from holography

Using simple holographic models in $D=4$ spacetime dimensions we construct black hole solutions dual to $d=3$ CFTs at finite charge density with a Q-lattice deformation. At zero temperature we find new ground state solutions with broken translation invariance, either in one or both spatial directions, which exhibit insulating or metallic behaviour depending on the parameters of the holographic theory. For low temperatures and small frequencies, the real part of the optical conductivity has a power-law behaviour, with the exponent determined by the ground state. We also obtain an expression for the the DC conductivity at finite temperature in terms of horizon data of the black hole solutions.

preprint2014arXiv

Thermoelectric DC conductivities from black hole horizons

An analytic expression for the DC electrical conductivity in terms of black hole horizon data was recently obtained for a class of holographic black holes exhibiting momentum dissipation. We generalise this result to obtain analogous expressions for the DC thermoelectric and thermal conductivities. We illustrate our results using some holographic Q-lattice black holes as well as for some black holes with linear massless axions, in both $D=4$ and $D=5$ bulk spacetime dimensions, which include both spatially isotropic and anisotropic examples. We show that some recently constructed ground states of holographic Q-lattices, which can be either electrically insulating or metallic, are all thermal insulators.

Competing p-wave orders

We construct electrically charged, asymptotically $AdS_5$ black hole solutions that are dual to $d=4$ CFTs in a superfluid phase with either p-wave or $(p+ip)$-wave order. The two types of black holes have non-vanishing charged two-form in the bulk and appear at the same critical temperature in the unbroken phase. Both the p-wave and the $(p+ip)$-wave phase can be thermodynamically preferred, depending on the mass and charge of the two-form, and there can also be first order transitions between them. The p-wave black holes have a helical structure and some of them exhibit the phenomenon of pitch inversion as the temperature is decreased. Both the p-wave and the $(p+ip)$-wave black holes have zero entropy density ground states at zero temperature and we identify some new ground states which exhibit scaling symmetry, including a novel scenario for the emergence of conformal symmetry in the IR.

Holographic charge density waves

We show that strongly coupled holographic matter at finite charge density can exhibit charge density wave phases which spontaneously break translation invariance while preserving time-reversal and parity invariance. We show that such phases are possible within Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton theory in general spacetime dimensions. We also discuss related spatially modulated phases when there is an additional coupling to a second vector field, possibly with non-zero mass. We discuss how these constructions, and others, should be associated with novel spatially modulated ground states.

Metal-insulator transition in holography

We exhibit an interaction-driven metal-insulator quantum phase transition in a holographic model. Use of a helical lattice enables us to break translation invariance while preserving homogeneity. The metallic phase is characterized by a sharp Drude peak and a d.c. resistivity that increases with temperature. In the insulating phase the Drude spectral weight is transferred into a `mid-infrared' peak and to energy scales of order the chemical potential. The d.c. resistivity now decreases with temperature. In the metallic phase, operators breaking translation invariance are irrelevant at low energy scales. In the insulating phase, translation symmetry breaking effects are present at low energies. We find the near horizon extremal geometry that captures the insulating physics.

On the thermodynamics of periodic AdS black branes

We consider asymptotically AdS black brane solutions that are dual to CFTs with periodic dependence on the spatial directions, arising from either a spontaneous or an explicit breaking of translational symmetry. We derive a simple expression for the variation of the free-energy with respect to changing the periods. This explains some observations, based on numerics, that have arisen in the explicit construction of thermodynamically preferred black holes in the case that the spatial directions are infinite in extent and the symmetry is spontaneously broken. It also leads to simple Smarr-type relations involving the boundary stress tensor..

Striped phases from holography

We discuss new types of second order phase transitions in holography by constructing striped black holes in D=4 with $AdS_{4}$ asymptotics. In the context of $AdS/CFT$, they provide the gravity duals to field theory phases in which translational symmetry is spontaneously broken due to the formation of current density waves. These black holes are associated to three dimensional CFTs at finite temperature and deformed by a uniform chemical potential. We numerically solve a non-linear system of PDEs in order to construct the black hole geometries and extract some of their thermodynamic properties.

Black holes dual to helical current phases

We consider the class of d=4 CFTs at finite temperature and chemical potential that are holographically described within D=5 Einstein-Maxwell theory with a Chern-Simons term. The high temperature phase, which is spatially homogeneous and isotropic, is dual to the AdS-Reissner-Nordstrom black brane solution. For sufficiently large Chern-Simons coupling, we construct new electrically charged AdS black hole solutions that are dual to the low temperature, spatially modulated phase. In this phase the current, associated with the abelian global symmetry, spontaneously acquires a helical order. The new black holes are stationary and also have Bianchi VII$_0$ symmetry.

Helical superconducting black holes

We construct novel static, asymptotically $AdS_5$ black hole solutions with Bianchi VII$_0$ symmetry that are holographically dual to superconducting phases in four spacetime dimensions with a helical p-wave order. We calculate the precise temperature dependence of the pitch of the helical order. At zero temperature the black holes have vanishing entropy and approach domain wall solutions that reveal homogenous, non-isotropic dual ground states with emergent scaling symmetry.

Magnetic and electric AdS solutions in string- and M-theory

The stability properties of a family of magnetic $AdS_{3}\times \mathbb{R}^{2}$ solutions of D=5, SO(6) gauged SUGRA are investigated in more detail. We construct an analogous family of magnetic $AdS_{2}\times \mathbb{R}^{2}$ solutions of D=4, SO(8) gauged SUGRA, including a family of supersymmetric solutions, and also investigate their stability. We construct supersymmetric domain walls that interpolate between AdS_5 and an $AdS_3\times\mathbb{R}^2$ solution and also between AdS_4 and an $AdS_2\times\mathbb{R}^2$ solution which provide stable zero temperature ground states for the corresponding dual CFTs. We also construct new families of electric $AdS_{2}\times \mathbb{R}^{3}$ and $AdS_{2}\times \mathbb{R}^{2}$ solutions.

Spatially modulated instabilities of magnetic black branes

We investigate spatially modulated instabilities of magnetically charged $AdS_{2}\times\mathbb{R}^2$, $AdS_{3}\times\mathbb{R}^2$ and $AdS_{2}\times\mathbb{R}^3$ backgrounds in a broad class of theories, including those arising from KK reductions of ten and eleven dimensional supergravity. We show that magnetically charged black brane solutions in D=4,5 spacetime dimensions, whose zero temperature near horizon limit approach these backgrounds, can have instabilities that are dual to phases with current density waves that spontaneously break translation symmetry. Our examples include spatially modulated instabilities for a new class of magnetic black brane solutions of D=5 SO(6) gauged supergravity, that we construct in closed form, which are dual to new phases of N=4 SYM theory.

Supersymmetric quantum criticality supported by baryonic charges

In the context of the $AdS_4\times Q^{111}$ solution of D=11 supergravity we construct supersymmetric zero temperature black brane solutions that interpolate between $AdS_4$ in the UV and $AdS_2\times \mathbb{R}^2$ in the IR. The dual N=2 SCFT has a $U(1)^2$ baryonic symmetry and the solutions carry electric charge with respect to one of the U(1) factors and magnetic charge with respect to the other. The solutions describe stable zero temperature ground states of the deformed SCFT which have finite entropy density. We also construct analogous supersymmetric solutions that flow to $AdS_2\times S^2$ and to $AdS_2\times H^2/Γ$ in the IR which, in addition, carry magnetic R-symmetry charge similar to other known wrapped brane solutions.

Universal linear in temperature resistivity from black hole superradiance

Observations across many families of unconventional materials motivative the search for robust mechanisms producing linear in temperature d.c. resistivity. BKT quantum phase transitions are commonplace in holographic descriptions of finite density matter, separating critical and ordered phases. We show that at a holographic BKT critical point, if the unstable operator is coupled to the current via irrelevant operators, then a linear contribution to the resistivity is universally obtained. We also obtain broad power law tails in the optical conductivity, that shift spectral weight from the Drude peak as well as interband energy scales. We give a partial realization of this scenario using an Einstein-Maxwell-pseudoscalar bulk theory. The instability is a vectorial mode at nonzero wavevector, which is communicated to the homogeneous current via irrelevant coupling to an ionic lattice.

Holographic striped phases

We discuss new types of instabilities of D=4 electrically charged AdS-Reissner-Nordström black branes that involve neutral pseudo-scalars. The instabilities spontaneously break translational invariance and are associated with the dual three-dimensional CFTs, at finite temperature and fixed chemical potential with respect to a global abelian symmetry, acquiring striped phases. We show that such instabilities are present for the infinite class of skew-whiffed $AdS_4\times SE_7$ solutions of D=11 supergravity, albeit at a lower temperature than the known superfluid instabilities.

Superfluid black branes in AdS_4\times S^7

We consider the d=3 N=8 SCFT dual to AdS_4\times S^7 when held at finite temperature and chemical potential with respect to a diagonal U(1)_R\subset SO(8) global symmetry and construct black brane solutions of D=11 supergravity that are associated with the superfluid instability with the highest known critical temperature. We construct a rich array of solutions using different sub-truncations of SO(8) gauged supergravity finding results that strongly depend on the truncation used. Our constructions include black brane solutions associated with the Gubser-Mitra instability which preserve the U(1)_R symmetry, and these, in turn, can have further superfluid instabilities. In addition, we also construct superfluid black branes that at zero temperature are domain walls that interpolate between the SO(8) AdS_4 vacuum in the UV, in an alternative quantisation, and the supersymmetric SU(3)\times U(1) AdS_4 vacuum in the IR.

The electrostatic view on M-theory LLM geometries

We describe the geometry of the R x SO(3) x SO(6) x U(1) invariant half-BPS M-theory configurations considered in LLM in terms of their electrostatic variables. We discuss both regular configurations, such as AdS_4 x S^7 and AdS_7 x S^4 vacua or simple excited solutions, and singular ones such as the superstar geometries. This allows us to identify the appropriate boundary conditions describing the most general smooth and superstar-like singular configurations. We also compute their masses, matching the expected result from their microscopic interpretation, but now at finite radius of curvature.

Wrapped M5-branes, consistent truncations and AdS/CMT

At the level of the bosonic fields, we construct consistent Kaluza--Klein reductions of D=11 supergravity on $Σ_3\times S^4$, where $Σ_3=H^3/Γ,S^3/Γ$ or $R^3/Γ$ where $Γ$ is a discrete group of isometries. The result is the bosonic content of an N=2 D=4 gauged supergravity with a single vector multiplet and two hypermultiplets, whose scalar fields parametrise $SU(1,1)/U(1)\times G_{2(2)}/SO(4)$. %, and the gauging is only in the hypermultiplet When $Σ_3=H^3/Γ$ the D=4 theory has an $AdS_4$ vacuum which uplifts to the known supersymmetric $AdS_4\times H^3/Γ\times S^4$ solution of D=11 supergravity that describes the N=2 $d=3$ SCFT arising when M5-branes wrap SLag 3-cycles $H^3/Γ$ in Calabi-Yau three-folds. We use the KK reduction for $Σ_3=H^3/Γ$ to construct D=11 black hole solutions that describe these d=3 SCFTs at finite temperature and charge density and show that there is a superconducting instability involving a charged scalar field, and another instability involving involving neutral fields including both scalar and vector fields. We also use this KK reduction to construct a D=11 Lifshitz solution that is dual to a d=3 field theory with dynamical exponent $z\sim 39$.

AdS_3 x S^3 x S^3 x S^1 Solutions of Type IIB String Theory

We analyse a recently constructed class of local solutions of type IIB supergravity that consist of a warped product of AdS_3 with a seven-dimensional internal space. In one duality frame the only other non-vanishing fields are the NS three-form and the dilaton. We analyse in detail how these local solutions can be extended to globally well-defined solutions of type IIB string theory, with the internal space having topology S^3 x S^3 x S^1 and with properly quantised three-form flux.

AdS Solutions Through Transgression

We present new classes of explicit supersymmetric AdS_3 solutions of type IIB supergravity with non-vanishing five-form flux and AdS_2 solutions of D=11 supergravity with electric four-form flux. The former are dual to two-dimensional SCFTs with (0,2) supersymmetry and the latter to supersymmetric quantum mechanics with two supercharges. We also investigate more general classes of AdS_3 solutions of type IIB supergravity and AdS_2 solutions of D=11 supergravity which in addition have non-vanishing three-form flux and magnetic four-form flux, respectively. The construction of these more general solutions makes essential use of the Chern-Simons or "transgression" terms in the Bianchi identity or the equation of motion of the field strengths in the supergravity theories. We construct infinite new classes of explicit examples and for some of the type IIB solutions determine the central charge of the dual SCFTs. The type IIB solutions with non-vanishing three-form flux that we construct include a two-torus, and after two T-dualities and an S-duality, we obtain new AdS_3 solutions with only the NS fields being non-trivial.

BPS states in type IIB SUGRA with $SO(4)\times SO(2)_{gauged} symmetry

We present an extension of our construction (hep-th/0606199) exhibiting $SO(4)\times SO(2)$ symmetry. We extend the previously presented ansatz by introducing a U(1) gauge field. The presence of the gauge field allows for more general values of the Killing spinor U(1) charge. One more time we identify a four dimensional Kahler structure and a Monge-Ampere type of equation parametrized by the U(1) Killing spinor charge. In addition we identify 2 scalars that parametrize the supersymmetric solutions, one of which is the Kahler potential.
