On the conformal spin dependence of the perturbative QCD vacuum singularity

We study the four-gluon scattering amplitude in the high energy limit of QCD written in terms of its conformal expansion. We highlight the need to include both even and odd conformal spin contributions in order to map it to an iterative representation in rapidity and transverse momentum space which we have evaluated numerically. By Fourier expanding in a set of three azimuthal angles, we find a new form for the amplitude in terms of $_4F_3$ hypergeometric functions. An alternative formulation is possible when connecting this Fourier expansion with Bessel kernels studied in analytic number theory.

An effective field theory approach for electroweak interactions in the high energy limit

We present an effective action for the electroweak sector of the Standard Model valid for the calculation of scattering amplitudes in the high energy (Regge) limit. Gauge invariant Wilson lines are introduced to describe reggeized degrees of freedom whose interactions are generated by effective emission vertices. From this approach previous results at leading logarithmic accuracy for electroweak boson Regge trajectories are reproduced together with the corresponding interaction kernels. The proposed framework lays the path for calculations at higher orders in perturbation theory.

Inclusive four-jet production: a study of Multi-Regge kinematics and BFKL observables

A study of differential cross sections for the production of four jets in multi-Regge kinematics is presented, the main focus lying on azimuthal angle dependences. The theoretical setup consists in the jet production from a single BFKL ladder with a convolution of three BFKL Green functions, where two forward/backward jets are always tagged in the final state. Furthermore, the tagging of two further jets in more central regions of the detectors with a relative separation in rapidity from each other is requested. It is found, as result, that the dependence on the transverse momenta and the rapidities of the two central jets can be considered as a distinct signal of the onset of BFKL dynamics.

NLO Vertex for a Forward Jet plus a Rapidity Gap at High Energies

We present the calculation of the forward jet vertex associated to a rapidity gap (coupling of a hard pomeron to the jet) in the BFKL formalism at next-to-leading order (NLO). Real emission contributions are computed via Lipatov's effective action. The NLO jet vertex turns out to be finite within collinear factorization and allows, together with the NLO non-forward gluon Green's function, to perform NLO studies of jet production in diffractive events (e.g. Mueller-Tang dijets).

The Gluon-Induced Mueller-Tang Jet Impact Factor at Next-to-Leading Order

We complete the computation of the Mueller-Tang jet impact factor at next-to-leading order (NLO) initiated in arXiv:1406.5625 and presented in arXiv:1404.2937 by computing the real corrections associated to gluons in the initial state making use of Lipatov's effective action. NLO corrections for this effective vertex are an important ingredient for a reliable description of large rapidity gap phenomenology within the BFKL approach.

Two-Loop Gluon Regge Trajectory from Lipatov's Effective Action

Lipatov's high-energy effective action is a useful tool for computations in the Regge limit beyond leading order. Recently, a regularisation/subtraction prescription has been proposed that allows to apply this formalism to calculate next-to-leading order corrections in a consistent way. We illustrate this procedure with the computation of the gluon Regge trajectory at two loops.
