Classical Monte Carlo algorithm for simulation of a pseudospin model for cuprates

A classical Monte Carlo algorithm based on the quasi-classical approximation is applied to the pseudospin Hamiltonian of the model cuprate. The model takes into account both local and non-local correlations, Heisenberg spin-exchange interaction, single-particle and correlated two-particle transfer. We define the state selection rule that gives both the uniform distribution of states in the phase space and the doped charge conservation. The simulation results show a qualitative agreement of a phase diagrams with the experimental ones.

Critical Temperatures of Hard-Core Boson Model on Square Lattice within Bethe Approximation

The short-range correlations are considered for a two-dimensional hard-core boson model on square lattice within Bethe approximation for the clusters consisting of two and four sites. Explicit equations are derived for the critical temperatures of charge and superfluid ordering and their solutions are considered for various ratios of the charge-charge correlation parameter to the transfer integral. It is shown that taking into account short-range correlations for the temperatures of charge ordering results in the appearance of the critical concentration of bosons, which restricts the existence domain of the solutions of charge ordering type. In the case of superfluid ordering with the assumption of short-range correlations, the critical temperature is reduced up to zero values at half-filling. A phase diagram of the hard-core boson model is constructed with the assumption of phase separation within Maxwell's construction and it is shown that taking into account short-range correlations within Bethe approximation quantitatively approximates the form of phase diagram to the results of the quantum Monte Carlo method.

Model of charge triplets for high-T$_c$ cuprates

Starting with a minimal model for the CuO$_2$ planes with the on-site Hilbert space reduced to a charge triplet of the three effective valence centers [CuO$_4$]$^{7-,6-,5-}$ (nominally Cu$^{1+,2+,3+}$) with different conventional spin, different orbital symmetry, and different local lattice configuration, we develop a unified non-BCS spin-pseudospin model to describe the main phase states of doped cuprates. We argue that antiferromagnetic insulating, charge ordered, superconducting, and Fermi-liquid phases are possible phase states of a model parent cuprate, while typical phase state of a doped cuprate, in particular mysterious pseudogap phase, is a result of a phase separation. Superconductivity of cuprates is not a consequence of pairing of doped holes, but the result of quantum transport of on-site composite hole bosons, whereas main peculiarities of normal state can be related to an electron-hole interplay for unusual Fermi-liquid phase and features of the phase separation. Puzzlingly, but it is the electron-lattice interaction, which in the BCS model determines $s$-wave pairing, in the model of local composite bosons gives $d_{x^2-y^2}$-symmetry of the superconducting order parameter, thus showing once again a substantial involvement of the lattice in the cuprate's HTSC.

Phase separation in high-T$_c$ cuprates

We develop a minimal non-BCS model for the CuO$_2$ planes with the on-site Hilbert space reduced to only three effective valence centers CuO$_4$ with different charge, conventional spin, and orbital symmetry, combined in a charge triplet. Using the S=1 pseudospin algebra we introduce an effective spin-pseudospin Hamiltonian. To illustrate the possibilities of the molecular field approximation we start with the analysis of the atomic and the "large negative-$U$" limits of the model in comparison with the Bethe cluster approximation, classical and quantum Monte Carlo methods. Both limiting systems exhibit the phase separation effect typical of systems with competing order parameters. The $T$\,-\,$n$ phase diagrams of the complete spin-pseudospin model were reproduced by means of a site-dependent variational approach within effective field approximation typical for spin-magnetic systems. Limiting ourselves to two-sublattice approximation and $nn$-couplings we arrived at several Néel-like phases in CuO$_2$ planes for parent and doped systems with a single nonzero local order parameter: antiferromagnetic insulator, charge order, glueless $d$-wave Bose superfluid phase, and unusual metallic phase. However, the global minimum of free energy is realized for phase separated states which are bounded by the third-order phase transition line $T^{\star}(n)$, which is believed to be responsible for the onset of the pseudogap phenomenon. With a certain choice of the Hamiltonian parameters the model phase diagrams can quite reasonably reproduce the main features of experimental phase diagrams for T- and T$^{\prime}$-cuprates and novel nickelates. The superconducting phase of cuprates/nickelates is determined by the on-site composite boson transport, it is not a consequence of pairing of doped holes/electrons, but represents one of the possible phase states of parent systems.

NMR study of magnetic structure and hyperfine interactions in binary helimagnet FeP

We report a detailed study of the ground state helical magnetic structure in monophosphide FeP by means of ${}^{31}$P NMR spectroscopy. We show that the zero-field NMR spectrum of the polycrystalline sample provides strong evidence of an anisotropic distribution of local magnetic fields at the P site with substantially lower anharmonicity than that found at the Fe site by Mössbauer spectroscopy. From field-sweep ${}^{31}$P NMR spectra we conclude that a continuous spin-reorientation transition occurs in an external magnetic field range of 4 - 7 T, which is also confirmed by specific-heat measurements. We observe two pairs of magnetically inequivalent phosphorus positions resulting in a pronounced four-peak structure of the single crystal ${}^{31}$P NMR spectra characteristic of an incommensurate helimagnetic ground state. We revealed a spatial redistribution of local fields at the P sites caused by Fe spin-reorientation transition in high fields and developed an effective approach to account for it. We demonstrate that all observed ${}^{31}$P spectra can be treated within a model of an isotropic helix of Fe magnetic moments in the ($ab$)-plane with a phase shift of 36$^{\circ}$ and 176$^{\circ}$ between Fe1-Fe3 (Fe2-Fe4) and Fe1-Fe2 (Fe3-Fe4) sites, respectively, in accordance with the neutron scattering data.

Local intra-unit-cell order parameters in cuprates

Starting with the on-site Hilbert space reduced to only three effective valence centers, nominally Cu$^{1+,2+,3+}$, we present an unified approach to the description of the local intra-unit-cell (IUC) order parameters in cuprates. Central point of the model implies the occurrence of unconventional on-site quantum superpositions of the three valent states characterized by different hole occupation, $n_h$=0,1,2, conventional spin s=1/2 for Cu$^{2+}$ and s=0 for Cu$^{1+,3+}$ centers, and different orbital symmetry:$B_{1g}$ for the ground states of the Cu$^{2+}$ center and $A_{1g}$ for the Cu$^{1+,3+}$ centers, respectively. The latter does result in a spontaneous orbital symmetry breaking with emergence of the IUC orbital nematic order parameter of the $B_{1g}\propto d_{x2-y2}$ symmetry. To describe the quantum local charge order we develop an S=1 pseudospin model. Conventional spin density $ρ_s$ for mixed valence superpositions can vary inbetween 0 and 1 in accordance with the weight of the Cu$^{2+}$ center in the superposition. We show that the superconductivity and spin magnetism are nonsymbiotic phenomena with competing order parameters. Furthermore we argue that instead of a well-isolated Zhang-Rice (ZR) singlet $^1A_{1g}$ the ground state of the hole Cu$^{3+}$ center in cuprates should be described by a complex $^1A_{1g}$-$^{1,3}B_{2g}$-$^{1,3}E_u$ multiplet, formed by a competition of conventional hybrid Cu 3d-O 2p $b_{1g}(σ)\propto d_{x^2 -y^2}$ state and {\it purely oxygen nonbonding} O 2p$π$ states with $a_{2g}(π)$ and $e_{ux,y}(π)$ symmetry. In contrast with inactive ZR singlet we arrive at several novel competing IUC orbital and spin-orbital order parameters, e.g., electric dipole and quadrupole moments, Ising-like net orbital magnetic moment, orbital toroidal moment, intra-plaquette's staggered order of Ising-like oxygen orbital magnetic moments.

Pseudospin S=1 description of the cuprate complexity: the charge triplets model

We introduce a minimal model for 2D cuprates with the on-site Hilbert space reduced to only three effective valence centers CuO$_4^{7-,6-,5-}$ (nominally Cu$^{1+,2+,3+}$) and make use of the S=1 pseudospin formalism. Despite its seeming simplicity the model is believed to capture the salient features both of the hole- and electron-doped cuprates. The pseudospin formalism elucidates an unique fermion-boson duality of the doped cuprates, does provide an unified standpoint for classification of the "myriad"\, of electronic phases in cuprates and the evolution of the CuO$_2$ planes under a nonisovalent doping, introduces the on-site mixed valence quantum superpositions and order parameters to be novel features of the cuprate physics, does provide a comprehensive description of the correlated one- and two-particle transport, coexistence of $p$- and $n$-type carriers, electron-hole asymmetry, anticorrelation of conventional spin and superconducting order parameters. Concept of the electron and hole centers, differing by a composite local boson, and electron-hole pairing are shown to explain central points of the cuprate puzzles, in particular, the HTSC itself, pseudogap, and Fermi surface reconstruction.

Pseudospin S=1 formalism and skyrmion-like excitations in the three body constrained extended Bose-Hubbard model

We have focused in the paper on the most prominent and intensively studied S=1 pseudospin formalism for extended bosonic Hubbard model (EHBM) with truncation of the on-site Hilbert space to the three lowest occupation states n = 0, 1, 2. The EHBM Hamiltonian is a paradigmatic model for the highly topical field of ultracold gases in optical lattices. Generalized non-Heisenberg effective pseudospin Hamiltonian does provide a deep link with boson system and physically clear description of "the myriad of phases" from uniform Mott insulating phases and density waves to two types of superfluids and supersolids. We argue that the 2D pseudospin system is prone to a topological phase separation and focus on several types of unconventional skyrmion-like topological structures in 2D boson systems, which have not been analysed till now. The structures are characterized by a complicated interplay of insulating and the two superfluid phases with a single boson and two-boson condensation, respectively.

Perspectives of the disproportionation driven superconductivity in strongly correlated 3d compounds

Disproportionation in 3d compounds can give rise to an unconventional electron-hole Bose liquid with a very rich phase diagram from a Bose metal, charge ordering insulator to an inhomogeneous Bose superfluid. Optimal conditions for the disproportionation driven high-T_c superconductivity are shown to realize only for several Jahn-Teller d^n configurations that permit the formation of well defined local composite bosons. These are the high-spin d^4, low-spin d^7, and d^9 configurations given the octahedral crystal field, and the d^1, high-spin d^6 configurations given the tetrahedral crystal field. The disproportionation reaction has a peculiar anti-Jahn- Teller character lifting the bare orbital degeneracy. Superconductivity in the d^4 and d^6 systems at variance with d^1, d^7, and d^9 systems implies an unavoidable coexistence of the spin-triplet composite bosons and a magnetic lattice. We argue that unconventional high-T_c superconductivity observed in quasi-2D cuprates with tetragonally distorted CuO_6 octahedra and iron-based layered pnictides/chalcogenides with tetrahedrally coordinated Fe^2+ ions can be a key argument supporting the disproportionation scenario is at work in these compounds.

Pseudogap phase in cuprates: oxygen orbital moments instead of circulating currents

Circulating current (CC) loops within the cuprate unit cell are proposed to play a key role in the physics of the pseudogap phase. However, main experimental observations motivated by this sophisticated proposal and seemingly supporting the CC model can be explained in frames of a simple and physically clear microscopic model. We argue that instead of a well-isolated Zhang-Rice (ZR) singlet $^1A_{1g}$ the ground state of the hole center [CuO$_4$]$^{5-}$ (cluster analog of Cu$^{3+}$ ion) in cuprates should be described by a complex $^1A_{1g}$-$^{1,3}B_{2g}$-$^{1,3}E_u$ multiplet, formed by a competition of conventional hybrid Cu 3d-O 2p $b_{1g}(σ)\propto d_{x^2 -y^2}$ state and {\it purely oxygen nonbonding} O 2p$π$ states with $a_{2g}(π)$ and $e_{ux,y}(π)$ symmetry. In contrast with inactive ZR singlet we arrive at several novel competing orbital and spin-orbital order parameters, e.g., Ising-like net orbital magnetic moment, orbital toroidal moment, intra-plaquette's staggered order of Ising-like oxygen orbital magnetic moments. As a most impressive validation of the non-ZR model we explain fascinating results of recent neutron scattering measurements that revealed novel type of magnetic ordering in pseudogap phase of several hole-doped cuprates.

Unusual X-ray excited luminescence spectra of NiO suggestive of a self-trapping of the d-d charge transfer exciton

Luminescence spectra of NiO have been investigated under vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) and soft X-ray (XUV) excitation. Photoluminescence (PL) spectra show broad emission bands centered at about 2.3 and 3.2 eV. The PL excitation (PLE) spectral evolution and lifetime measurements reveal that two mechanisms with short and long decay times, attributed to the d($e_g$)-d($e_g$) and p($π$)-d charge transfer (CT) transitions in the range 4-6\,eV, respectively, are responsible for the observed emissions, while the most intensive p($σ$)-d CT transition at 7\,eV appears to be a weak if any PL excitation mechanism. The PLE spectra recorded in the 4-7\,eV range agree with the RIXS and reflectance data. Making use of the XUV excitation allows us to avoid the predominant role of the surface effects in luminescence and reveal bulk luminescence with puzzling well isolated doublet of very narrow lines with close energies near 3.3\,eV characteristic for recombination transitions in self-trapped \emph{d}-\emph{d} CT excitons formed by coupled Jahn-Teller Ni$^+$ and Ni$^{3+}$ centers. This conclusion is supported both by a comparative analysis of the luminescence spectra for NiO and solid solutions Ni$_{x}$Zn$_{1-x}$O, and by a comprehensive cluster model assignement of different \emph{p}-\emph{d} and \emph{d}-\emph{d} CT transitions, their relaxation channels. To the best of our knowledge it is the first observation of the self-trapping for \emph{d}-\emph{d} CT excitons. Our paper shows the time resolved luminescence measurements provide an instructive tool for elucidation of the \emph{p}-\emph{d} and \emph{d}-\emph{d} CT excitations and their relaxation in 3d oxides.

What is the true charge transfer gap in parent insulating cuprates?

A large body of experimental data point towards a charge transfer instability of parent insulating cuprates to be their unique property. We argue that the true charge transfer gap in these compounds is as small as 0.4-0.5\,eV rather than 1.5-2.0\,eV as usually derived from the optical gap measurements. In fact we deal with a competition of the conventional (3d$^9$) ground state and a charge transfer (CT) state with formation of electron-hole dimers which evolves under doping to an unconventional bosonic system. Our conjecture does provide an unified standpoint on the main experimental findings for parent cuprates including linear and nonlinear optical, Raman, photoemission, photoabsorption, and transport properties anyhow related with the CT excitations. In addition we suggest a scenario for the evolution of the CuO$_2$ planes in the CT unstable cuprates under a nonisovalent doping.

Disproportionation and electronic phase separation in parent manganite LaMnO_3

Nominally pure undoped parent manganite LaMnO_3 exhibits a puzzling behavior inconsistent with a simple picture of an A-type antiferromagnetic insulator (A-AFI) with a cooperative Jahn-Teller ordering. We do assign its anomalous properties to charge transfer instabilities and competition between insulating A-AFI phase and metallic-like dynamically disproportionated phase formally separated by a first-order phase transition at T_{disp}=T_{JT}\approx 750 K. The unconventional high-temperature phase is addressed to be a specific electron-hole Bose liquid (EHBL) rather than a simple "chemically" disproportionated R(Mn^{2+}Mn^{4+})O_3 phase. New phase does nucleate as a result of the charge transfer (CT) instability and evolves from the self-trapped CT excitons, or specific EH-dimers, which seem to be a precursor of both insulating and metallic-like ferromagnetic phases observed in manganites. We arrive at highly frustrated system of triplet (e_g^2)^3A_{2g} bosons moving in a lattice formed by hole Mn^{4+} centers. Starting with different experimental data we have reproduced a typical temperature dependence of the volume fraction of high-temperature mixed-valent EHBL phase. We argue that a slight nonisovalent substitution, photo-irradiation, external pressure or magnetic field gives rise to an electronic phase separation with a nucleation or an overgrowth of EH-droplets. Such a scenario provides a comprehensive explanation of numerous puzzling properties observed in parent and nonisovalently doped manganite LaMnO_3 including an intriguing manifestation of superconducting fluctuations.

Interplay of p-d and d-d charge transfer transitions in rare-earth perovskite manganites

We have performed both theoretical and experimental study of optical response of parent perovskite manganites RMnO_3 with a main goal to elucidate nature of clearly visible optical features. Starting with a simple cluster model approach we addressed the both one-center (p-d) and two-center (d-d) charge transfer (CT) transitions, their polarization properties, the role played by structural parameters, orbital mixing, and spin degree of freedom. Optical complex dielectric function of single crystalline samples of RMnO_3 (R=La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu) was measured by ellipsometric technique at room temperature in the spectral range from 1.0 to 5.0 eV for two light polarizations: E \parallel c and E \perp c. The comparative analysis of the spectral behavior of \varepsilon _1 and \varepsilon _2 is believed to provide a more reliable assignment of spectral features. We have found an overall agreement between experimental spectra and theoretical predictions based on the theory of one-center p-d CT transitions and inter-site d-d CT transitions. Our experimental data and theoretical analysis evidence a dual nature of the dielectric gap in nominally stoichiometric matrix of perovskite manganites RMnO_3, it is formed by a superposition of forbidden or weak dipole allowed p-d CT transitions and inter-site d-d CT transitions. In fact, the parent perovskite manganites RMnO_3 should rather be sorted neither into the CT insulator nor the Mott-Hubbard insulator in the Zaanen, Sawatzky, Allen scheme.

Spin polarization of the magnetic spiral in NaCu_2O_2, as seen by NMR

The incommensurate (IC) spin ordering in quasi-1D edge-shared cuprate NaCu_2O_2 has been studied by ^{23}Na nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy in an external magnetic field near 6 Tesla applied along the main crystallographic axes. The NMR lineshape evolution above and below T_N\approx12 K yields a clear signature of an IC static modulation of the local magnetic field consistent with a Cu^{2+} spin spiral polarized in the bc-plane rather than in the ab-plane as reported from earlier neutron diffraction data.

Quantum electric dipole glass and frustrated magnetism near a critical point in Li2ZrCuO4

We report a new peculiar effect of the interaction between a sublattice of frustrated quantum spin-1/2 chains and a sublattice of pseudospin-1/2 centers (quantum electric dipoles) uniquely co-existing in the complex oxide Li2ZrCuO4. 7Li nuclear magnetic-, Cu2+ electron spin resonance and a complex dielectric constant data reveal that the sublattice of Li+-derived electric dipoles orders glass like at Tg ~ 70 K yielding a spin site nonequivalency in the CuO2 chains. We suggest that such a remarkable interplay between electrical and spin degrees of freedom might strongly influence the properties of the spiral spin state in Li2ZrCuO4 that is close to a quantum ferromagnetic critical point. In particular that strong quantum fluctuations and/or the glassy behavior of electric dipoles might renormalize the exchange integrals affecting this way the pitch angle of the spiral as well as be responsible for the missing multiferroicity present in other helicoidal magnets.

Field induced antiferromagnetism and $^{17}$O Knight shift anomaly in La$_2$CuO$_4$

We address the effect of the field induced antiferromagnetism in paramagnetic state of the cuprate weak ferromagnet La$_2$CuO$_4$. The planar oxygen $^{17}$O Knight shift is shown to be an effective tool to inspect the effects of Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya coupling in cuprates in an external magnetic field. Field induced antiferromagnetism and anisotropic antiferromagnetic contribution to $^{17}$K explain the anomalies observed in $^{17}$O NMR in La$_2$CuO$_4$. The experimental observation of antiferromagnetic contribution to the $^{17}$O Knight shift provides probably the only way to find out the problem of the sense of Dzyaloshinsky vector in cuprates.

Charge Transfer Excitations in Insulating Copper Oxides

A semi-quantitative cluster approach is developed to describe the charge transfer (CT) electron-hole excitations in insulating cuprates in a rather wide energy range up to 10- 15 eV. It generalizes the Zhang-Ng (ZN) model of CT excitons by considering the complete set of Cu3d and O2p orbitals within the CuO4 embedded molecular cluster method and by introducing one-center (intra-center) Frenkel-like and two-center (inter-center) excitons. Special attention is paid to the transition matrix element effects both in optical and electron energy loss spectra (EELS). In the latter case we obtain the momentum dependence of matrix elements both for intra-center and inter-center transitions. We are able to give a semi-quantitative description of the optical and EELS spectra for a large number of 0D (like CuB2O4), 1D (Sr2CuO3) and 2D (like Sr2CuO2Cl2) insulating cuprates in a unifying manner. By comparing our analysis with the experimental data we find that the CT gap in insulating cuprates is determined by nearly degenerate intra-center localized excitations and inter-center CT excitons. The corresponding EELS intensity is found to be strongly k-dependent: even for isolated exciton it sharply decreases by approaching the Brillouin zone (BZ) boundary. It is shown that the interaction of two-center excitons can result in destructive interference effects with an intensity compensation point.

Topological phase separation in 2D hard-core Bose-Hubbard system away from half-filling

We suppose that the doping of the 2D hard-core boson system away from half-filling may result in the formation of multi-center topological defect such as charge order (CO) bubble domain(s) with Bose superfluid (BS) and extra bosons both localized in domain wall(s), or a {\it topological} CO+BS {\it phase separation}, rather than an uniform mixed CO+BS supersolid phase. Starting from the classical model we predict the properties of the respective quantum system. The long-wavelength behavior of the system is believed to remind that of granular superconductors, CDW materials, Wigner crystals, and multi-skyrmion system akin in a quantum Hall ferromagnetic state of a 2D electron gas.

Origin of Magnetoresistance Anomalies in Antiferromagnetic YBa_{2}Cu_{3}O_{6+x}

Specific d-wave angular dependence of the in-plane magnetoresistence in antiferromagnetic tetragonal YBa_{2}Cu_{3}O_{6+x} (x~0.3) on orientation of the external magnetic field in (a,b) plane is assigned to the effective hole transport through low lying excited purely oxygen doublet O2pe_u state, not the ground b_{1g}(d_{x^2-y^2}) state. External magnetic field determines the orientation of the strong exchange field for the spin-triplet b_{1g}e_u:{}^{3}E_u state of the hole CuO_4 center and due to the spin-orbital coupling results in either orbital polarization of the E_u doublet giving rise to the spatial anisotropy of the hole transport. Experimental data allow to estimate parameter of the effective spin Hamiltonian.

Doped Manganites Beyond Conventional Double-Exchange Model

The problem of adequate electronic model for doped manganites like La_{1-x}Sr_{x}MnO_3 remains controversial. In such a situation we argue a necessity to discuss all possible candidate states with different valent structure of manganese and oxygen atoms, as well as different valent states of octahedral MnO_{6} centers. In frames of quantum-chemical approach, crystal field and the ligand field models we address different types of MnO_6 centers, different types of d-d, and charge transfer transitions. We draw special attention to the so-called charge transfer states related to strong intra-center charge fluctuations. As we conjecture, namely these could become active valent states for doped manganites. We discuss some electric and magnetic properties of the electron MnO_{6}^{10-}, and hole MnO_{6}^{8-} centers with unconventional ^{6}A_{1g}-{}^{6}T_{1u} and ^{4}A_{2g}-{}^{4}T_{2u} valent manifolds, respectively. We propose two idealized theoretical models for hole system in doped manganites with an overall oxygen localization for the doped holes occupying the non-bonding O2p orbitals, and a doping induced formation of a system of the electron MnO_{6}^{10-} and hole MnO_{6}^{8-} centers being equivalent to the electron-hole Bose liquid.

The singlet-triplet magnetism and induced spin fluctuations in the high-$T_c$ copper oxides

High-$T_c$ cuprates like $La_{2-x}Sr_{x}CuO_{4}$ and $YBa_{2-x}Cu_{3}O_{6+x}$ are considered as a system of the electron and hole polar pseudo-Jahn-Teller $CuO_{4}$ centers $[{CuO}_{4}^{7-}]_{JT}$ and $[CuO_{4}^{5-}]_{JT}$, respectively, or a system of the local bosons moving in a lattice of the hole centers. Ground manifold of the polar centers includes three terms $^{1}A_{1g}$ (Zhang-Rice singlet), $^{1}E_{u}$, $^{3}E_{u}$ with different spin multiplicity, orbital degeneracy and parity that provides an unconventional multi-mode behaviour of the cuprates. The spin subsystem of the copper oxides within the polar Jahn-Teller $CuO_{4}$ centers model is a two-component spin liquid and corresponds to a singlet-triplet magnet with possible noncollinear spin configurations. In the framework of a modified mean field approximation some kinds of spin ordering are discussed including as a trivial singlet or triplet states as a pure quantum singlet-triplet mixed state. A local boson movement is accompanied by a modulation of the spin density on the site resulting in the so called induced spin fluctuations. Some unconventional features of the induced spin fluctuations are considered including an appearance of the induced longitudinal ferrimagnetism with an appropriate contribution to the spin susceptibility, a possibility to observe and examine the charge fluctuations with the help of the traditional magnetic methods such as the magnetic inelastic neutron scattering and the spin lattice relaxation experiments. The suggested model, in comparison with the nearly antiferromagnetic Fermi-liquid model, represents new approach to the description of the spin system of the high-$T_c$ cuprates.
