Some Cosmological Solutions of a New Nonlocal Gravity Model

In this paper, we investigate a nonlocal modification of general relativity (GR) with action $S = \frac{1}{16πG} \int [ R- 2Λ+ (R-4Λ) \, \mathcal{F}(\Box) \, (R-4Λ) ] \, \sqrt{-g}\; d^4x ,$ where $\mathcal{F} (\Box) = \sum_{n=1}^{+\infty} f_n \Box^n$ is an analytic function of the d'Alembertian $\Box$. We found a few exact cosmological solutions of the corresponding equations of motion. There are two solutions which are valid only if $Λ\neq 0, \, k = 0,$ and they have not analogs in Einsten's gravity with cosmological constant $Λ$. One of these two solutions is $ a (t) = A \, \sqrt{t} \, e^{\fracΛ{4} t^2} ,$ that mimics properties similar to an interference between the radiation and the dark energy. Another solution is a nonsingular bounce one -- $ a (t) = A \, e^{Λt^2}$. For these two solutions, some cosmological aspects are discussed. We also found explicit form of the nonlocal operator $\mathcal{F}(\Box)$, which satisfies obtained necessary conditions.

Cosmic acceleration and crossing of w=-1 barrier in non-local Cubic Superstring Field Theory model

We show that the late time rolling of the Cubic Superstring Field Theory (CSSFT) non-local tachyon in the FRW Universe leads to a cosmic acceleration with a periodic crossing of the w=-1 barrier. An asymptotic solution for the tachyon and Hubble parameter by linearizing the non-local equations of motion is constructed explicitly. For a small Hubble parameter the period of oscillations is a number entirely defined by the parameters of the CSSFT action.

Exactly Solvable SFT Inspired Phantom Model

An exact solution to the Friedmann equations with a string inspired phantom scalar matter field is constructed and the absence of the "Big Rip" singularity is shown explicitly. The notable features of the concerned model are a ghost sign of the kinetic term and a special polynomial form of the effective tachyon potential. The constructed solution is stable with respect to small fluctuations of the initial conditions and special deviations of the form of the potential.
