Future projections on the anomalous WWγγWWγγ couplings in hadron-hadron interactions at the FCC-hh

We carry out a study in the approach of a dimension-8 effective field theory on the anomalous quartic WWγγWWγγ couplings that arise from the process pp→Wγγpp \to Wγγ at the Future Circular Collider-hadron hadron (FCC-hh). The process is sensitive to the WWγγWWγγ vertex, and future projections on the anomalous fM,i/Λ4f_ {M,i}/Λ^4 and fT,j/Λ4 f_ {T,j}/Λ^4 couplings can be put by measurements of WγγWγγ production. We illustrate the physics opportunities and reach of the FCC-hh operating for a high integrated luminosity scenario of L=1,5,10,30{\cal L}=1, 5, 10, 30 ab−1{\rm ab}^{-1} of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of s=100\sqrt{s}=100 TeV and systematic uncertainties of δsys=0%,3%,5%,10%δ_{sys}=0\%, 3\%, 5\%, 10\%. Production cross-sections of the signal and the sensitivity constraints on the anomalous fM,i/Λ4f_ {M,i}/Λ^4 and fT,j/Λ4 f_ {T,j}/Λ^4 couplings at 95%95\% C.L. are identified through the leptonic and hadronic decay modes of the WW-boson. The FCC-hh sensitivity on these anomalous couplings is expected might reach up to the order of magnitude O(10−4−101){\cal O}(10^{-4}-10^1). These sensitivity perspectives indicate that the pp→Wγγpp \to Wγγ channel at the FCC-hh has a greater potential to search for the anomalous quartic WWγγWWγγ couplings and to search for new physics than present colliders.

Sensitivity limits on the weak dipole moments of the top-quark at the Bestest Little Higgs Model

We presented new researches for the sensitivity limits on the weak dipole moments of the top quark-ZZ boson interactions in the context of the Bestest Little Higgs Model (BLHM). For this purpose, we derive the corresponding Feynman rules. Among the new contributions, there are those arising from the vertices of scalar bosons, vector bosons and heavy quarks contribution: tqiSitq_iS_i, (Si=h0,H0,A0,ϕ0,η0,σ,H±,ϕ±,η±S_i=h_0, H_0, A_0, ϕ^{0}, η^{0}, σ, H^{\pm}, ϕ^{\pm}, η^{\pm}); tqiVitq_iV_i, (Vi=γ,Z,W,Z′,W′V_i= γ, Z, W, Z', W'); and ZqiqˉiZq_i\bar q_i (qi=b,t,B,T,T5,T6,T2/3,T5/3q_i=b, t, B, T, T_5, T_6, T^{2/3}, T^{5/3}). With these new vertices, we calculate the one-loop contributions to the weak dipole moments atWa^W_t and dtWd^W_t of the top-quark in several scenarios. We found that with the parameters of the BLHM of mA0=1000m_{A_0}= 1000 GeV, mη0=100m_{η^0}= 100 GeV, F=4000F=4000 GeV, f=[1000,3000]f=[1000, 3000] GeV and tan⁡β=3\tanβ=3, the atWa^W_t reaches values with a sensitivity of atW=2.49×10−4−1.26×10−5ia^{W}_{t}= 2.49 \times 10^{-4}-1.26 \times 10^{-5}i, 1.26×10−4−5.41×10−6i1.26 \times 10^{-4}-5.41\times 10^{-6}i, where the main contribution comes from the scalars h0h_0 and H0H_0, which couples to the top-quark of the Standard Model and the top-quarks of the BLHM. These values seem to be out of the reach of the expected experimental sensitivity of present experiments. However, experiments on future colliders are expected to be sensitive enough to measure the AWMDM of the top-quark. Our study complements other studies at the level of one-loop with an extended scalar sector.

Study on the anomalous quartic W+W−γγW^+W^-γγ couplings of electroweak bosons in e−pe^-p collisions at the LHeC and the FCC-he

In this paper, a study is carried out on the e−p→e−γ∗p→pW+γνee^-p \to e^-γ^* p \to p W^+γν_e production to probe quartic W+W−γγW^+W^-γγ couplings using 10, 100 fb−1{\rm fb^{-1}} of e−pe^-p collisions data at s\sqrt{s}= 1.30, 1.98 GeV at the Large Hadron electron Collider (LHeC) and 100, 1000 fb−1{\rm fb^{-1}} with s\sqrt{s}= 3.46, 5.29 GeV at the Future Circular Collider-hadron electron (FCC-he). Production cross-sections are determined for both at leptonic and hadronic decay channel of the WW-boson. With the data from future e−pe^-p colliders, it is possible to obtain sensitivity measures at 95%95\% C.L. on the anomalous fM,i/Λ4f_ {M,i}/Λ^4 and fT,i/Λ4 f_ {T,i}/Λ^4 couplings which are competitive with the limits obtained by the LHC, as well as with others limits reported in the literature. The production mode e−p→e−γ∗p→pW+γνee^-p \to e^-γ^* p \to p W^+γν_e in e−pe^-p collisions offers a window for study the quartic W+W−γγW^+W^-γγ electroweak bosons couplings at the LHeC and the FCC-he, which provides a much cleaner collision environment than the LHC.

Sensitivity physics expected to the measurement of the quartic WWγγWWγγ couplings at the LHeC and the FCC-he

We explore the physics expected sensitivity at the Large Hadron electron Collider (LHeC) and the Future Circular Collider-hadron electron (FCC-he) to search for the anomalous quartic WWγγWWγγ couplings in single WW-boson production in association with a photon. We study the process ep→e−γ∗p→eWγq′Xep \to e^-γ^* p \to eWγq'X via the subprocess γ∗q→Wγq′γ^* q \to Wγq'. The center-of-mass energies and luminosities of the LHeC are assumed to be s=1.30,1.98\sqrt{s}=1.30, 1.98 TeV, L=10−100{\cal L}=10-100 fb−1{\rm fb^{-1} } and for the FCC-he s=3.46,5.29\sqrt{s}=3.46, 5.29 TeV and L=100−1000{\cal L}=100-1000 fb−1{\rm fb^{-1} }. With these energies and luminosities, we estimate bounds on the anomalous quartic WWγγWWγγ couplings at 95%95\% C.L., which can be an order of magnitude stringent than the experimental limits report by ATLAS and CMS Collaborations at the LHC.

Anomalous quartic WWγγWWγγ couplings in epep collisions at the LHeC and the FCC-he

We conducted a study on measuring W+W−W^+W^- production and on the sensitivity limits at 95%95\% Confidence Level on thirteen anomalous couplings obtained by dimension-8 operators which are related to the anomalous quartic WWγγWWγγ couplings. We consider the main e−p→e−γ∗γ∗p→e−W+W−pe^-p \to e^-γ^*γ^*p \to e^-W^+W^-p reaction with the sub-process γ∗γ∗→W+W−γ^*γ^* \to W^+W^- at the Large Hadron electron Collider (LHeC) and the Future Circular Collider-hadron electron (FCC-he). For the LHeC, energies of the e−e^- beams are taken to be Ee=60E_e =60 and 140 GeV and the energy of the pp beams is taken to be Ep=7E_p = 7 TeV. For the FCC-he, energies of the e−e^- beams are taken to be Ee=60E_e =60 and 140 GeV and the energy of the pp beams is taken to be Ep=50E_p = 50 TeV, respectively. It is interesting to notice that the LHeC and the FCC-he will lead to model-independent limits on the anomalous quartic WWγγWWγγ couplings which are one order of magnitude stringent than the CMS Collaboration limits, in addition to being competitive with other limits reported in the literature.

Probing model-independent limits on W+W−γW^+W^-γ triple gauge boson vertex at the LHeC and the FCC-he

We study the cross-section of production of a single W−W^- boson in association with a neutrino through the process e−p→e−γ∗p→νeW−pe^-p \to e^-γ^*p \to ν_eW^- p. Additionally, we obtain the anomalous couplings ΔκγΔκ_γ and λγλ_γ of the W+W−γW^+W^-γ vertex at the Large Hadron Electron Collider (LHeC) and the Future Circular Collider Hadron-Electron (FCC-he). The impact of the polarized beam due to the electron is also analyzed. Our best limits for ΔκγΔκ_γ and λγλ_γ at the 95%95\% C.L. are: Δκγ=±0.0017Δκ_γ= \pm 0.0017, λγ=±0.0053λ_γ= \pm 0.0053 (unpolarized electron beam) and Δκγ=±0.0013Δκ_γ= \pm 0.0013, λγ=±0.0046λ_γ= \pm 0.0046 (polarized electron beam) identifying the W−W^- boson through the hadronic decay channel. In addition, the e−γ∗→νeW−e^-γ^* \to ν_eW^- collision is one of the clean, pure and simple process to investigate the W+W−γW^+W^-γ coupling without the complications of QCD backgrounds.

In this work we study the potential of the processes e+e−→e+γ∗e−→e+τνˉτνee^+e^- \to e^+γ^* e^- \to e^+τ\barν_τν_e and e+e−→e+γ∗γ∗e−→e+ντνˉτe−e^+e^- \to e^+γ^* γ^* e^- \to e^+ν_τ\barν_τe^- at a future high-energy and high-luminosity linear electron positron collider, such as the ILC and CLIC to study the sensibility on the anomalous magnetic and electric dipole moments of the tau-neutrino. For integrated luminosity of 590\hspace{1mm}fb−1fb^{-1} and center-of-mass energy of 3\hspace{1mm}TeVTeV, we derive 95%C.L.95 \% \hspace{1mm}C. We evaluated the total cross section of ttˉHHt\bar tHH and calculate the number total of events considering the complete set of Feynman diagrams at tree-level. The numerical computation is done for the energy which is expected to be available at a possible Next Linear e+e−e^{+}e^{-} Collider: with center-of-mass energy 800,1600800, 1600 GeVGeV and luminosity 1000 fb−1fb^{-1}.

Pair Production and Angular Distribution of Helicity Flipped Neutrinos in a Left-Right Symmetric Model

We assume that a massive Dirac neutrino is characteized by two phenomenological parameters, a magnetic moment, and a charge radius, and we calculate the cross-section of the scattering e+e−→ννˉe^+e^-\to ν\bar ν in a left-right symmetric model. We also analyze the angular distribution of the neutrino (antineutrino) with respect to the original direction of the electron (positron) to different state of helicity of the neutrino. We find that the favored directions for the neutrino (antineutrino) with respect to the electron (positron) is forward (θ=0)(θ=0) and backward (θ=π)(θ= π), and is not very probable in the perpendicular direction (θ=π2)(θ= \fracπ{2}). The calculation is for ϕ=−0.005ϕ= -0.005 and MZ2=500M_{Z_2}=500 GeVGeV, parameters of the Left-Right symmetric model.

Subsequently, we calculate the simultaneous contribution of the charge radius, of the additional Z2Z_{2} heavy gauge boson and of the mixing angle ϕϕ parameter of the model at the constants of couplings (gVνe)LRSM(g^{νe}_{V})_{LRSM} and (gAνe)LRSM(g^{νe}_{A})_{LRSM}.

Neutron Beta Decay in a Left-Right Symmetric Model

We start from a Left-Right Symmetric Model and we analyze the beta decay of the free neutron n→p+e−+νˉen\to p+e^{-}+\barν_{e}. We applied this model to incorporate the right currents, whereby we propose an amplitude whose leptonic part contains the parameter λλ defined as left-right asymmetry parameter which measures the parity violation. The analysis consists of seeing how the spectrum of energy of the electrons, the total rate of decay, and the lifetime ττ of the neutron are affected by the left-right asymmetry parameter, besides taking into account corrections of mass, that is, me≠0m_{e}\neq 0, mp≠mnm_{p}\neq m_{n}, and the recoil of the proton.

% insert abstract here We study the production of the Higgs bosons predicted in the Minimal Supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model (h0,H0,A0,H±)(h^0, H^0, A^0, H^\pm), with the reactions e+e−→bbˉh0(H0,A0)e^{+}e^{-}\to b\bar b h^0 (H^0, A^0), and e+e−→τ−νˉτH+,τ+ντH−e^+e^-\to τ^-\bar ν_τH^+, τ^+ν_τH^-, using the helicity formalism. We evaluate cross section of h0,H0,A0h^0, H^0, A^0 and H±H^\pm in the limit when tan⁡β\tanβ is large. The numerical computation is done considering two stages of a possible Next Linear e+e−e^{+}e^{-} Collider: the first with s=500\sqrt{s}=500 GeVGeV and design luminosity 50 fb−1fb^{-1}, and the second with s=1\sqrt{s}=1 TeVTeV and luminosity 100-200 fb−1fb^{-1}.

Detection of Charged MSSM Higgs Bosons at CERN LEP-II and NLC

We study the possibility of detecting the charged Higgs bosons predicted in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (H±)(H^\pm), with the reactions e+e−→τ−νˉτH+,τ+ντH−e^{+}e^{-}\to τ^-\bar ν_τH^+, τ^+ν_τH^-, using the helicity formalism. We analyze the region of parameter space (mA0−tan⁡β)(m_{A^0}-\tanβ) where H±H^\pm could be detected in the limit when tan⁡β\tanβ is large. The numerical computation is done for the energie which is expected to be available at LEP-II (s=200\sqrt{s}=200 GeV) and for a possible Next Linear e+e−e^{+}e^{-} Collider (s=500\sqrt{s}=500 GeV).
