The first non-zero Neumann p−p-fractional eigenvalue

preprint2015arXivOpen access

Abstract

In this work we study the asymptotic behavior of the first non-zero Neumann p−p-fractional eigenvalue λ1(s,p)λ_1(s,p) as s→1−s\to 1^- and as p→∞.p\to\infty. We show that there exists a constant K\mathcal{K} such that K(1−s)λ1(s,p)\mathcal{K}(1-s)λ_1(s,p) goes to the first non-zero Neumann eigenvalue of the p−p-Laplacian. While in the limit case p→∞,p\to \infty, we prove that λ1(1,s)1/pλ_1(1,s)^{1/p} goes to an eigenvalue of the Hölder ∞−\infty-Laplacian.
