Minimal digraph obstructions for small matrices

preprint2016arXivOpen access

Abstract

Given a {0,1,∗}\{ 0, 1, \ast \}-matrix MM, a minimal MM-obstruction is a digraph DD such that DD is not MM-partitionable, but every proper induced subdigraph of DD is. In this note we present a list of all the MM-obstructions for every 2×22 \times 2 matrix MM. Notice that this note will be part of a larger paper, but we are archiving it now so we can cite the results.
