Lattice spectroscopy with focus on exotics

preprint2022arXivOpen access

Abstract

Recent lattice QCD results on the hadron spectroscopy with beauty and charm quarks is reviewed. The focus of the review are exotic hadrons, while non-lattice approaches and conventional hadrons are reported as well. We discuss the recently discovered Ωc∗Ω_c^*, a charmonium state with spin three, PcP_c pentaquarks, Bc(2S)B_c(2S) and Λb∗Λ_b^*, the long-standing challenges for theory ZcZ_c, ZbZ_b and X(3872)X(3872), and we review predictions for yet undiscovered states bbqˉqˉbb\bar q\bar q, bˉbbˉb\bar bb\bar bb, highly excited and hybrid bˉb\bar bb, baryons with bottom quarks and still-missing BsB_{s} mesons.
