Automorphic Carathéodory-Julia Theorem

preprint2024arXivOpen access

Abstract

Let w(ζ)w(ζ) be a function analytic on D\mathbb D, ∣w(ζ)∣≤1|w(ζ)|\le 1. Let ∣t0∣=1|t_0|=1. Assume that ww and w′w' have nontangential boundary values w0w_0 and w0′w'_0, respectively, at t0t_0, ∣w0∣=1|w_0|=1. Then (Carathéodory - Julia) t0w0′w0≥0t_0\dfrac{w'_0}{w_0}\ge 0. The goal of this paper is to obtain a lower bound on this ratio if ww is character-automorphic with respect to a Fuchsian group (Theorem 6.1)
