OxygenREC: An Instruction-Following Generative Framework for E-commerce Recommendation

Traditional recommendation systems suffer from inconsistency in multi-stage optimization objectives. Generative Recommendation (GR) mitigates them through an end-to-end framework; however, existing methods still rely on matching mechanisms based on inductive patterns. Although responsive, they lack the ability to uncover complex user intents that require deductive reasoning based on world knowledge. Meanwhile, LLMs show strong deep reasoning capabilities, but their latency and computational costs remain challenging for industrial applications. More critically, there are performance bottlenecks in multi-scenario scalability: as shown in Figure 1, existing solutions require independent training and deployment for each scenario, leading to low resource utilization and high maintenance costs-a challenge unaddressed in GR literature. To address these, we present OxygenREC, an industrial recommendation system that leverages Fast-Slow Thinking to deliver deep reasoning with strict latency and multi-scenario requirements of real-world environments. First, we adopt a Fast-Slow Thinking architecture. Slow thinking uses a near-line LLM pipeline to synthesize Contextual Reasoning Instructions, while fast thinking employs a high-efficiency encoder-decoder backbone for real-time generation. Second, to ensure reasoning instructions effectively enhance recommendation generation, we introduce a semantic alignment mechanism with Instruction-Guided Retrieval (IGR) to filter intent-relevant historical behaviors and use a Query-to-Item (Q2I) loss for instruction-item consistency. Finally, to resolve multi-scenario scalability, we transform scenario information into controllable instructions, using unified reward mapping and Soft Adaptive Group Clip Policy Optimization (SA-GCPO) to align policies with diverse business objectives, realizing a train-once-deploy-everywhere paradigm.

Novel magnetic and ferroelectric behaviors observed in alpha Fe2O3 particles

Alpha Fe2O3 powders have been prepared by the reduction reaction method with NaHB4 as reducing agent and followed a conventional sintering process. The XRD pattern with Rietveld refinement profile reveal that the prepared Fe2O3 with corundum structure (hematite). VSM loop exhibits obvious room-temperature weak ferromagnetism, a pinched hysteresis loop may introduced by the shape anisotropy effect. The simultaneous ferroelectric behavior of α-Fe2O3 with "five-fold" ferroelectric hysteresis loops approves that this structured Fe2O3 can be known as a novel multiferroic material.

Mathematical modeling of hysteresis loops in ferroelectric materials

In published papers, the Gibbs free energy of ferroelectric materials has usually been quantified by the retention of 6th or 8th order polarization terms. In this paper, a newly analytical model of Gibbs free energy, thereout, a new model of polarization-electric field hysteresis loops in ferroelectric materials has been derived mathematically. As a model validation, four patterns of polarization-electric field hysteresis loops of ferroelectric materials have been depicted by using the model. The calculated results indicated that the self-similar model can characterize the various patterns of hysteresis loops in ferroelectric materials through adjusting the external excitation or the synthetically parameter (e.g., electric, temperature, and stress, etc.) employed in the model.

Universally-composable finite-key analysis for efficient four-intensity decoy-state quantum key distribution

We propose an efficient four-intensity decoy-state BB84 protocol and derive concise security bounds for this protocol with the universally composable finite-key analysis method. Comparing with the efficient three-intensity protocol, we find that our efficient four-intensity protocol can increase the secret key rate by at least $30\%$. Particularly, this increasing rate of secret key rate will be raised as the transmission distance increases. At a large transmission distance, our efficient four-intensity protocol can improve the performance of quantum key distribution profoundly.

A global estimation of the lower bound of the privacy amplification term for decoy-state quantum key distribution

The privacy amplification term, of which the lower bound needs to be estimated with the decoy-state method, plays a positive role in the secure key rate formula for decoy-state quantum key distribution. In previous work, the yield and the bit error rate of single-photon state are estimated separately to gain this lower bound. In this work, we for the first time take the privacy amplification term as a whole to consider this lower bound. The mathematical description for the correlation between the yield and the bit error rate of single-photon state is given with just two unknown variables. Based on this, we obtain the global estimation of this lower bound for both BB84 protocol and measurement-device-independent protocol. The results of numerical simulation show that the global estimation can significantly improve the performance of quantum key distribution.

Stringent Statistical Fluctuation Analysis for Quantum Key Distribution Considering After-pulse Contributions

Statistical fluctuation problems are faced by all quantum key distribution (QKD) protocols under finite-key condition. Most of the current statistical fluctuation analysis methods work based on independent random samples, however, the precondition cannot be always satisfied on account of different choice of samples and actual parameters. As a result, proper statistical fluctuation methods are required to figure out this problem. Taking the after-pulse contributions into consideration, we give the expression of secure key rate and the mathematical model for statistical fluctuations, focusing on a decoy-state QKD protocol (Sci Rep. 3, 2453, 2013) with biased basis choice. On this basis, a classified analysis of statistical fluctuation is represented according to the mutual relationship between random samples. First for independent identical relations, we make a deviation comparison between law of large numbers and standard error analysis. Secondly, we give a sufficient condition that Chernoff bound achieves a better result than Hoeffding's inequality based on independent relations only. Thirdly, by constructing the proper martingale, for the first time we represent a stringent way to deal with statistical fluctuation issues upon dependent ones through making use of Azuma's inequality. In numerical optimization, we show the impact on secure key rate, the ones and respective deviations under various kinds of statistical fluctuation analyses.

Decoy-state quantum key distribution with biased basis choice

We propose a quantum key distribution scheme that combines a biased basis choice with the decoy-state method. In this scheme, Alice sends all signal states in the $Z$ basis and decoy states in the $X$ and $Z$ basis with certain probabilities, and Bob measures received pulses with optimal basis choice. This scheme simplifies the system and reduces the random number consumption. From the simulation result taking into account of statistical fluctuations, we find that in a typical experimental setup, the proposed scheme can increase the key rate by at least 45% comparing to the standard decoy-state scheme. In the postprocessing, we also apply a rigorous method to upper bound the phase error rate of the single-photon components of signal states.

Easily Implemented Rate Compatible Reconciliation Protocol for Quantum Key Distribution

Reconciliation is an important step to correct errors in Quantum Key Distribution (QKD). In QKD, after comparing basis, two legitimate parties possess two correlative keys which have some differences and they could obtain identical keys through reconciliation. In this paper, we present a new rate compatible reconciliation scheme based on Row Combining with Edge Variation (RCEV) Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) codes which could change code rate adaptively in noisy channel where error rate may change with time. Our scheme is easy to implement and could get good efficiency compared to existing schemes. Meanwhile, due to the inherent structure we use, the new scheme not only saves memory space remarkably but also simplifies the decoder architecture and accelerates the decoding.

A New Method to Calculate Electromagnetic Impedance Matching Degree in One-Layer Microwave Absorbers

A delta-function method was proposed to quantitatively evaluate the electromagnetic impedance matching degree. Measured electromagnetic parameters of α-Fe/Fe3B/Y2O3 nanocomposites are applied to calculate the matching degree by the method. Compared with reflection loss and quarter-wave principle theory, the method accurately reveals the intrinsic mechanism of microwave transmission and reflection properties. A possible honeycomb structure with promising high-performance microwave absorption according to the method is also proposed.

Comparative study of microwave absorption in Ni/SiO2 and SiO2/Ni core-shell structures

Ni coated SiO2 and SiO2 coated Ni composite particles with core-shell structures were designed, prepared and their microwave absorption properties were characterized. The comparison study of the shell effect on the effective electromagnetic parameters reveals that the effective permittivity/permeability was crucially determined by the percent and the intrinsic electromagnetic parameters of the component materials regardless of various core/shell structures. Both of the composite core-shell structures could have good microwave absorption properties. Investigation of the input impedance indicates that, good microwave absorption performances are a consequence of proper electromagnetic impedance matches when the effective electromagnetic parameters were modulated.

Quantum Algorithms for Unit Group and principal ideal problem

Computing the unit group and solving the principal ideal problem for a number field are two of the main tasks in computational algebraic number theory. This paper proposes efficient quantum algorithms for these two problems when the number field has constant degree. We improve these algorithms proposed by Hallgren by using a period function which is not one-to-one on its fundamental period. Furthermore, given access to a function which encodes the lattice, a new method to compute the basis of an unknown real-valued lattice is presented.
