Laplacian flow for closed G_2 structures: real analyticity

Let φ(t),t∈[0,T]φ(t), t\in [0,T] be a smooth solution to the Laplacian flow for closed G_2 structures on a compact 7-manifold MM. We show that for each fixed positive time t∈(0,T]t\in (0,T], (M,φ(t),g(t))(M,φ(t),g(t)) is real analytic, where g(t)g(t) is the metric induced by φ(t)φ(t). Consequently, any Laplacian soliton is real analytic and we obtain unique continuation results for the flow.

Volume preserving flow by powers of kk-th mean curvature

We consider the flow of closed convex hypersurfaces in Euclidean space Rn+1\mathbb{R}^{n+1} with speed given by a power of the kk-th mean curvature EkE_k plus a global term chosen to impose a constraint involving the enclosed volume Vn+1V_{n+1} and the mixed volume Vn+1−kV_{n+1-k} of the evolving hypersurface. We prove that if the initial hypersurface is strictly convex, then the solution of the flow exists for all time and converges to a round sphere smoothly. No curvature pinching assumption is required on the initial hypersurface.

Smooth compactness of ff-minimal hypersurfaces with bounded ff-index

Let (Mn+1,g,e−fdμ)(M^{n+1},g,e^{-f}dμ) be a complete smooth metric measure space with 2≤n≤62\leq n\leq 6 and Bakry-Émery Ricci curvature bounded below by a positive constant. We prove a smooth compactness theorem for the space of complete embedded ff-minimal hypersurfaces in MM with uniform upper bounds on ff-index and weighted volume. As a corollary, we obtain a smooth compactness theorem for the space of embedded self-shrinkers in Rn+1\mathbb{R}^{n+1} with 2≤n≤62\leq n\leq 6. We also prove some estimates on the ff-index of ff-minimal hypersurfaces, and give a conformal structure of ff-minimal surface with finite ff-index in three-dimensional smooth metric measure space.

Alexandrov-Fenchel type inequalities for convex hypersurfaces in hyperbolic space and in sphere

In this paper, firstly, inspired by Natário's recent work \cite{Na}, we use the isoperimetric inequality to derive some Alexandrov-Fenchel type inequalities for closed convex hypersurfaces in the hyperbolic space $\H^{n+1}$ and in the sphere $\SS^{n+1}$. We also get the rigidity in the spherical case. Secondly, we use the inverse mean curvature flow in sphere \cite{gerh,Mak-Sch} to prove an optimal Sobolev type inequality for closed convex hypersurfaces in the sphere.
