A cogroupoid associated to preregular forms

We construct a family of cogroupoids associated to preregular forms and recover the Morita-Takeuchi equivalence for Artin-Schelter regular algebras of dimension two, observed by Raedschelders and Van den Bergh. Moreover, we study the 2-cocycle twists of pivotal analogues of these cogroupoids, by developing a categorical description of preregularity in any tensor category that has a pivotal structure.

Cancellation and skew cancellation for Poisson algebras

We study the Zariski cancellation problem for Poisson algebras in three variables. In particular, we prove those with Poisson bracket either being quadratic or derived from a Lie algebra are cancellative. We also use various Poisson algebra invariants, including the Poisson Makar-Limanov invariant, the divisor Poisson subalgebra, and the Poisson stratiform length, to study the skew cancellation problem for Poisson algebras.

Twists of graded Poisson algebras and related properties

We introduce a Poisson version of the graded twist of a graded associative algebra and prove that every graded Poisson structure on a connected graded polynomial ring $A:=\Bbbk[x_1,\ldots,x_n]$ is a graded twist of a unimodular Poisson structure on $A$, namely, if $π$ is a graded Poisson structure on $A$, then $π$ has a decomposition $$π=π_{unim} +\frac{1}{\sum_{i=1}^n {\rm deg} x_i} E\wedge {\mathbf m}$$ where $E$ is the Euler derivation, $π_{unim}$ is the unimodular graded Poisson structure on $A$ corresponding to $π$, and ${\mathbf m}$ is the modular derivation of $(A,π)$. This result is a generalization of the same result in the quadratic setting. The rigidity of graded twisting, $PH^1$-minimality, and $H$-ozoneness are studied. As an application, we compute the Poisson cohomologies of the quadratic Poisson structures on the polynomial ring of three variables when the potential is irreducible, but not necessarily having isolated singularities.

Poisson Dixmier-Moeglin equivalence from a topological point of view

In this paper, we provide some topological criteria for the Poisson Dixmier-Moeglin equivalence for $A$ in terms of the poset $({\rm P. spec A}, \subseteq)$ and the symplectic leaf or core stratification on its maximal spectrum. In particular, we prove that the Zariski topology of the Poisson prime spectrum and of each symplectic leaf or core can detect the Poisson Dixmier-Moeglin equivalence for any complex affine Poisson algebra. Moreover, we generalize the weaker version of the Poisson Dixmier-Moeglin equivalence for a complex affine Poisson algebra proved in [J. Bell, S. Launois, O.L. Sánchez, and B. Moosa, Poisson algebras via model theory and differential algebraic geometry, J. Eur. Math. Soc. (JEMS), 19(2017), no. 7, 2019-2049] to the general context of a commutative differential algebra.

On quantum groups associated to non-Noetherian regular algebras of dimension 2

We investigate homological and ring-theoretic properties of universal quantum linear groups that coact on Artin-Schelter regular algebras A(n) of global dimension 2, especially with central homological codeterminant (or central quantum determinant). As classified by Zhang, the algebras A(n) are connected \N-graded algebras that are finitely generated by n indeterminants of degree 1, subject to one quadratic relation. In the case when the homological codeterminant of the coaction is trivial, we show that the quantum group of interest, defined independently by Manin and by Dubois-Violette and Launer, is Artin-Schelter regular of global dimension 3 and also skew Calabi-Yau (homologically smooth of dimension 3). For central homological codeterminant, we verify that the quantum groups are Noetherian and have finite Gelfand-Kirillov dimension precisely when the corresponding comodule algebra A(n) satisfies these properties, that is, if and only if n=2. We have similar results for arbitrary homological codeterminant if we require that the quantum groups are involutory. We also establish conditions when Hopf quotients of these quantum groups, that also coact on A(n), are cocommutative.

Pointed $p^3$-dimensional Hopf algebras in positive characteristic

We classify pointed $p^3$-dimensional Hopf algebras $H$ over any algebraically closed field $k$ of prime characteristic $p>0$. In particular, we focus on the cases when the group $G(H)$ of group-like elements is of order $p$ or $p^2$, that is, when $H$ is pointed but is not connected nor a group algebra. This work provides many new examples of (parametrized) non-commutative and non-cocommutative finite-dimensional Hopf algebras in positive characteristic.

Primitive Deformations of Quantum $p$-groups

For finite-dimensional Hopf algebras, their classification in characteristic $0$ (e.g. over $\mathbb{C}$) has been investigated for decades with many fruitful results, but their structures in positive characteristic have remained elusive. In this paper, working over an algebraically closed field $\mathbf{k}$ of prime characteristic $p$, we introduce the concept, called Primitive Deformation, to provide a structured technique to classify certain finite-dimensional connected Hopf algebras which are almost primitively generated; that is, these connected Hopf algebras are $p^{n+1}$-dimensional, whose primitive spaces are abelian restricted Lie algebras of dimension $n$. We illustrate this technique for the case $n=2$. Together with our preceding results in arXiv:1309.0286, we provide a complete classification of $p^3$-dimensional connected Hopf algebras over $\mathbf{k}$ of characteristic $p>2$.

Classification of connected Hopf algebras of dimension $p^3$ I

Let $p$ be a prime, $k$ be an algebraically closed field of characteristic $p$. In this paper, we provide the classification of connected Hopf algebras of dimension $p^3$, except the case when the primitive space of the Hopf algebra is two dimensional and abelian. Each isomorphism class is presented by generators $x, y, z$ with relations and Hopf algebra structures. Let $μ$ be the multiplicative group of $(p^2+p-1)$-th roots of unity. When the primitive space is one-dimensional and $p$ is odd, there is an infinite family of isomorphism classes, which is naturally parameterized by $A_{k}^1/μ$.

Classification of pointed Hopf algebras of dimension $p^2$ over any algebraically closed field

Let $p$ be a prime. We complete the classification on pointed Hopf algebras of dimension $p^2$ over an algebraically closed field $k$. When $\text{char}k \neq p$, our result is the same as the well-known result for $\text{char}k=0$. When $\text{char}k=p$, we obtain 14 types of pointed Hopf algebras of dimension $p^2$, including a unique noncommutative and noncocommutative type.

DG Poisson algebra and its universal enveloping algebra

In this paper, we introduce the notions of differential graded (DG) Poisson algebra and DG Poisson module. Let $A$ be any DG Poisson algebra. We construct the universal enveloping algebra of $A$ explicitly, which is denoted by $A^{ue}$. We show that $A^{ue}$ has a natural DG algebra structure and it satisfies certain universal property. As a consequence of the universal property, it is proved that the category of DG Poisson modules over $A$ is isomorphic to the category of DG modules over $A^{ue}$. Furthermore, we prove that the notion of universal enveloping algebra $A^{ue}$ is well-behaved under opposite algebra and tensor product of DG Poisson algebras. Practical examples of DG Poisson algebras are given throughout the paper including those arising from differential geometry and homological algebra.

Isomorphism classes of finite dimensional connected Hopf algebras in positive characteristic

We classify all finite-dimensional connected Hopf algebras with large abelian primitive spaces. We show that they are Hopf algebra extensions of restricted enveloping algebras of certain restricted Lie algebras. For any abelian matched pair associated with these extensions, we construct a cohomology group, which classifies all the extensions up to equivalence. Moreover, we present a $1$-$1$ correspondence between the isomorphism classes and a group quotient of the cohomology group deleting some exceptional points, where the group respects the automorphisms of the abelian matched pair and the exceptional points represent those restricted Lie algebra extensions.

Universal enveloping algebras of differential graded Poisson algebras

In this paper, we introduce the notion of differential graded Poisson algebra and study its universal enveloping algebra. From any differential graded Poisson algebra $A$, we construct two isomorphic differential graded algebras: $A^e$ and $A^E$. It is proved that the category of differential graded Poisson modules over $A$ is isomorphic to the category of differential graded modules over $A^e$, and $A^e$ is the unique universal enveloping algebra of $A$ up to isomorphisms. As applications of the universal property of $A^e$, we prove that $(A^e)^{op}\cong (A^{op})^e$ and $(A\otimes_{\Bbbk}B)^e\cong A^e\otimes_{\Bbbk}B^e$ as differential graded algebras. As consequences, we obtain that ``$e$'' is a monoidal functor and establish links among the universal enveloping algebras of differential graded Poisson algebras, differential graded Lie algebras and associative algebras.

Universal enveloping algebras of Poisson Hopf algebras

For a Poisson algebra $A$, by exploring its relation with Lie-Rinehart algebras, we prove a Poincaré-Birkoff-Witt theorem for its universal enveloping algebra $A^e$. Some general properties of the universal enveloping algebras of Poisson Hopf algebras are studied. Given a Poisson Hopf algebra $B$, we give the necessary and sufficient conditions for a Poisson polynomial algebra $B[x; α, δ]_p$ to be a Poisson Hopf algebra. We also prove a structure theorem for $B^e$ when $B$ is a pointed Poisson Hopf algebra. Namely, $B^e$ is isomorphic to $B#_σ\mathcal{H}(B)$, the crossed product of $B$ and $\mathcal{H}(B)$, where $\mathcal{H}(B)$ is the quotient Hopf algebra $B^e/B^eB^+$.

Connected Hopf Algebras of Dimension $p^2$

Let $H$ be a finite-dimensional connected Hopf algebra over an algebraically closed field $\field$ of characteristic $p>0$. We provide the algebra structure of the associated graded Hopf algebra $\gr H$. Then, we study the case when $H$ is generated by a Hopf subalgebra $K$ and another element and the case when $H$ is cocommutative. When $H$ is a restricted universal enveloping algebra, we give a specific basis for the second term of the Hochschild cohomology of the coalgebra $H$ with coefficients in the trivial $H$-bicomodule $\field$. Finally, we classify all connected Hopf algebras of dimension $p^2$ over $\field$.
