On connection matrices of quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations based on Lie super algebras

We propose a new method to compute connection matrices of quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations associated to integrable vertex models with super algebra and Hecke algebra symmetries. The scheme relies on decomposing the underlying spin representation of the affine Hecke algebra in principal series modules and invoking the known solution of the connection problem for quantum affine Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equations associated to principal series modules. We apply the method to the spin representation underlying the Uq(gl^(2∣1))\mathcal{U}_q\bigl(\hat{\mathfrak{gl}}(2|1)\bigr) Perk-Schultz model. We show that the corresponding connection matrices are described by an elliptic solution of a supersymmetric version of the dynamical quantum Yang-Baxter equation with spectral parameter.

Off-shell scalar products for the XXZXXZ spin chain with open boundaries

In this work we study scalar products of Bethe vectors associated with the XXZXXZ spin chain with open boundary conditions. The scalar products are obtained as solutions of a system of functional equations. The description of scalar products through functional relations follows from a particular map having the reflection algebra as its domain and a function space as the codomain. Within this approach we find a multiple contour integral representation for the scalar products in which the homogeneous limit can be obtained trivially.

Twisted Heisenberg chain and the six-vertex model with DWBC

In this work we establish a relation between the six-vertex model with Domain Wall Boundary Conditions (DWBC) and the XXZXXZ spin chain with anti-periodic twisted boundaries. More precisely, we demonstrate a formal relation between the zeroes of the partition function of the six-vertex model with DWBC and the zeroes of the transfer matrix eigenvalues associated with the six-vertex model with a particular non-diagonal boundary twist.

Functional relations and the Yang-Baxter algebra

Functional equations methods are a fundamental part of the theory of Exactly Solvable Models in Statistical Mechanics and they are intimately connected with Baxter's concept of commuting transfer matrices. This concept has culminated in the celebrated Yang-Baxter equation which plays a fundamental role for the construction of quantum integrable systems and also for obtaining their exact solution. Here I shall discuss a proposal that has been put forward in the past years, in which the Yang-Baxter algebra is viewed as a source of functional equations describing quantities of physical interest. For instance, this method has been successfully applied for the description of the spectrum of open spin chains, partition functions of elliptic models with domain wall boundaries and scalar product of Bethe vectors. Further applications of this method are also discussed.

A new representation for the partition function of the six vertex model with domain wall boundaries

We obtain a new representation for the partition function of the six vertex model with domain wall boundaries using a functional equation recently derived by the author. This new representation is given in terms of a sum over the permutation group where the partial homogeneous limit can be taken trivially. We also show by construction that this partition function satisfies a linear partial differential equation.

R-matrices and Spectrum of Vertex Models based on Superalgebras

In this paper we investigate trigonometric vertex models associated with solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation which are invariant relative to q-deformed superalgebras sl(r|2m)^(2), osp(r|2m)^(1) and osp(r=2n|2m)^(2). The associated R-matrices are presented in terms of the standard Weyl basis making possible the formulation of the quantum inverse scattering method for these lattice models. This allowed us to derive the eigenvectors and the eigenvalues of the corresponding transfer matrices as well as explicit expressions for the Bethe ansatz equations.
