Toward ultrametric modeling of the epidemic spread

An ultrametric model of epidemic spread of infections based on the classical SIR model is proposed. Ultrametrics on a set of individuals based on theire hierarchical clustering relativly to the average time of infectious contact is introduced. The general equations of the ultrametric SIR model are written down and their particular implementation using $p$-adic parameterization is presented. A numerical analysis of the $p$-adic SIR model and a comparison of its behavior with the classical SIR model are performed. The concept of hierarchical isolation and the scenario of its management in order to reduce the level of epidemic spread is considered.

Ultrametric dynamics for the closed fractal-cluster resource models

The evolutional scenario of the resource distribution in the fractal-cluster systems which is identified as an "organism" has been suggested. We propose a model in which the resource redistribution dynamics in the closed system is determined by the ultrametric structure of the system's space. Moreover, each cluster has its own character time of a transfer to the equilibrium state which is determined by the ultrametric size of the cluster. The general equation which determines this dynamics has been written. For the determined type of the resource transitions among clusters, the solution to this equation has been numerically received. The problem of the parameter's identification modeling for the real systems has been discussed.

The Energy Transformation Limit Theorem for Gas Flow Systems

The limit energy theorem which determines the possibility of transformation the energy flow in power systems in the absence of technical work is investigated and proved for such systems as gas lasers and plasmatrons, chemical gas reactors, vortex tubes, gas-acoustic and other systems, as well as a system of close stars. In the case of the same name ideal gas in the system the maximum ratio of energy conversion effectiveness is linked to the Carnot theorem, which in its turn is connected with the Nernst theorem. However, numerical analyses show that the class of flow energy systems is non-carnot one. The ratio of energy conversion effectiveness depends on the properties of the working medium; a conventional cycle in open-circuit is essentially irreversible. The proved theorem gives a more strongly worded II law of thermodynamics for the selected class of flow energy systems. Implications for astrophysical thermodynamic systems and the theory of a strong shock wave are discussed.
