Anisotropic hyperbolic inflation for a model of two scalar and two vector fields

In this paper, we extend a recent proposed model of two scalar and two vector fields to a hyperbolic inflation scenario, in which the field space of two scalar fields is a hyperbolic space instead of a flat space. In this model, one of the scalar fields is assumed to be a radial field, while the other is set as an angular field. Furthermore, both scalar fields will be coupled to two different vector fields, respectively. As a result, we are able to obtain a set of exact Bianchi type I solutions to this model. Stability analysis is also performed to show that this set of anisotropic solutions is indeed stable and attractive during the inflationary phase. This result indicates that the cosmic no-hair conjecture is extensively violated in this anisotropic hyperbolic inflation model.

k-Gauss-Bonnet inflation

We propose a novel {\it k}-Gauss-Bonnet inflationary model, in which a kinetic term of scalar field is allowed to non-minimally couple to the Gauss-Bonnet topological invariant in the absence of a potential of scalar field. As a result, this model is shown to admit an isotropic power-law inflation provided that the scalar field is phantom. Furthermore, stability analysis based on the dynamical system method is performed to indicate that this inflation solution is indeed stable and attractive. More interestingly, a gradient instability in tensor perturbations is shown to disappear in this model.

No-go theorem for inflation in an extended Ricci-inverse gravity model

In this paper, we propose an extension of the Ricci-inverse gravity, which has been proposed recently as a very novel type of fourth-order gravity, by introducing a second order term of the so-called anticurvature scalar as a correction. The main purpose of this paper is that we would like to see whether the extended Ricci-inverse gravity model admits the homogeneous and isotropic Friedmann-Lemaitre-Robertson-Walker metric as its stable inflationary solution. However, a no-go theorem for inflation in this extended Ricci-inverse gravity is shown to appear through a stability analysis based on the dynamical system method. As a result, this no-go theorem implies that it is impossible to have such stable inflation in this extended Ricci-inverse gravity model.

Stable small spatial hairs in a power-law k-inflation model

In this paper, we extend our investigation of the validity of the cosmic no-hair conjecture within non-canonical anisotropic inflation. As a result, we are able to figure out an exact Bianchi type I solution to a power-law {\it k}-inflation model in the presence of unusual coupling between scalar and electromagnetic fields as $-f^2(ϕ)F_{μν}F^{μν}/4$. Furthermore, stability analysis based on the dynamical system method indicates that the obtained solution does admit stable and attractive hairs during an inflationary phase and therefore violates the cosmic no-hair conjecture. Finally, we show that the corresponding tensor-to-scalar ratio of this model turns out to be highly consistent with the observational data of the Planck 2018.

Higher dimensional massive bigravity

We study higher dimensional scenarios of massive bigravity, which is a very interesting extension of nonlinear massive gravity since its reference metric is assumed to be full dynamical. In particular, the Einstein field equations along with the following constraint equations for both physical and reference metrics of a five-dimensional massive bigravity will be addressed. Then, we study some well-known cosmological spacetimes such as the Friedmann-Lemaitre-Robertson-Walker, Bianchi type I, and Schwarzschild-Tangherlini metrics for the five-dimensional massive bigravity. As a result, we find that massive graviton terms will serve as effective cosmological constants in both physical and reference sectors if a special scenario, in which reference metrics are chosen to be proportional to physical ones, is considered for all mentioned metrics. Thanks to the constancy property of massive graviton terms, consistent cosmological solutions will be figured out accordingly.

Higher dimensional nonlinear massive gravity

Inspired by a recent ghost-free nonlinear massive gravity in four-dimensional spacetime, we study its higher dimensional scenarios. As a result, we are able to show the constant-like behavior of massive graviton terms for some well-known metrics such as the Friedmann-Lemaitre-Robertson-Walker, Bianchi type I, and Schwarzschild-Tangherlini-(A)dS metrics in a specific five-dimensional nonlinear massive gravity under an assumption that its fiducial metrics are compatible with physical ones. In addition, some simple cosmological solutions of the five-dimensional massive gravity will be figured out consistently.
