For every countable ordinal number $ξ$, we construct a metric space $X_ξ$ whose transfinite asymptotic dimension and complementary-finite asymptotic dimension are both $ξ$.
We build an example of a metric space with transfinite asymptotic dimension $2ω$.
This paper studies n-player games where players beliefs about their opponents behaviour are capacities (fuzzy measures, non-additive probabilities). The concept of an equilibrium under uncertainty was introduced by J.Dow and S.Werlang (1994) for two players and was extended to n-player games by J.Eichberger and D.Kelsey (2000). Expected utility (payoff function) was expressed by Choquet integral. The concept of an equilibrium under uncertainty with expected utility expressed by Sugeno integral were considered by T.Radul (2018). We consider in this paper an equilibrium with expected utility expressed by fuzzy integral generated by a continuous t-norm which is a natural generalization of Sugeno integral.
This paper studies n-player games where players beliefs about their opponents behaviour are capacities. The concept of an equilibrium under uncertainty was introduced J.Dow and S.Werlang (J Econ. Theory 64 (1994) 205--224) for two players and was extended to n-player games by J.Eichberger and D.Kelsey (Games Econ. Behav. 30 (2000) 183--215). Expected utility was expressed by Choquet integral. We consider the concept of an equilibrium under uncertainty in this paper but with expected utility expressed by Sugeno integral. Existence of such an equilibrium is demonstrated using some abstract non-linear convexity on the space of capacities.
This paper is devoted to Nash equilibrium for games in capacities. Such games with payoff expressed by Choquet integral were considered by Kozhan and Zarichnyi (Nash equilibria for games in capacities, Econ. Theory {\bf 35} (2008) 321--331) and existence of Nash equilibrium was proved. We also consider games in capacities but with expected payoff expressed by Sugeno integral. We prove existence of Nash equilibrium using categorical methods and abstract convexity theory.
For every functional functor $F:Comp\to Comp$ in the category $Comp$ of compact Hausdorff spaces we define the notions of $F$-Dugundji and $F$-Milutin spaces, generalizing the classical notions of a Dugundji and Milutin spaces. We prove that the class of $F$-Dugundji spaces coincides with the class of absolute $F$-valued retracts. Next, we show that for a monomorphic continuous functor $F:Comp\to Comp$ admitting tensor products each Dugundji compact is an absolute $F$-valued retract if and only if the doubleton $\{0,1\}$ is an absolute $F$-valued retract if and only if some points $a\in F(\{0\})\subset F(\{0,1\})$ and $b\in F(\{1\})\subset F(\{0,1\})$ can be linked by a continuous path in $F(\{0,1\})$. We prove that for the functor $Lip_k$ of $k$-Lipschitz functionals with $k<2$, each absolute $Lip_k$-valued retract is openly generated. On the other hand the one-point compactification of any uncountable discrete space is not openly generated but is an absolute $Lip_3$-valued retract. More generally, each hereditarily paracompact scattered compact space $X$ of finite scattered height $n$ is an absolute $Lip_k$-valued retract for $k=2^{n+2}-1$.
We show that there is no monad based on the normal functor $H$ introduced earlier by Radul which is a certain functorial compactification of the Hartman-Mycielski construction $HM$.
A.Chigogidze defined for each normal functor on the category Comp an extension which is a normal functor on the category Tych. We consider this extension for any functor on the category Comp and investigate which properties it preserves from the definition it preserves from the definition of normal functor. We investigate as well some topological properties of such extension.
