Holographic Central Charge Effects on Black Hole Thermodynamics and Quantum Information

In this paper, based on the Anti-de Sitter/Conformal Field Theory (AdS/CFT) correspondence, we highlight the fundamental role of the holographic central charge in connecting the boundary theory to quantum information, black hole thermodynamics, and the nature of gravity in the bulk. We establish that the large central charge of the boundary conformal field theory corresponds to classical gravity, while a small central charge corresponds to quantum gravity described by Loop Quantum Gravity. In addition, we study the thermodynamic behavior of AdS-Schwarzschild black holes for both large and small central charges. For large central charge, the classical AdS-Schwarzschild black holes have two phases: unstable small black holes and stable large black holes. Conversely, for small central charge, black holes are stable, and their entropy is smaller than that of classical black holes. To explore the influence of the boundary central charge on the information loss paradox, we use the island formula to recover the Page curve. We find that before the Page time, the entanglement entropy of Hawking radiation increases with time, and its slope is determined by the central charge of the boundary theory. After the Page time, the island inside black holes emerges, and the unitarity of black hole evaporation is restored, yielding a constant entropy consistent with the Page curve. This entanglement entropy, i.e. after the Page time, depends on the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy and includes a logarithmic correction related to the central charge.

Scalar warm inflation in holographic cosmology

We consider warm inflation in the context of holographic cosmology. The weak and the strong dissipative regime are analysed in the slow-roll approximation and within what is known as intermediate inflation. For an appropriate choice of the equation of state, the intermediate inflation is not only an exact solution in general relativity, but also in the holographic setup considered in this paper. Within this approach several dissipative and physically relevant functions are considered. We constrain our model using the latest Planck data. We conclude that three of the models analysed are consistent with Planck data for some ranges of the model parameters. However, one of them is ruled out by the observations.

Non-minimal Higgs inflation within holographic cosmology

We derive a Higgs inflationary model in the context of holographic cosmology, where we consider a universe filled with a Higgs field non-minimally coupled to gravity in a slow-roll regime. The amplitude of density (scalar) perturbations is calculated. In this regard, we show that the background and perturbative parameters characterising the inflationary era are related to the standard one through corrections terms. We found that for the e-fold number $N\sim 58$, the spectral index,$n_{r}$, and the tensor-to-scalar ratio,$r$, values are $0.965$ and $0.021$, respectively, which are in agreement with 2018 Planck observational data. However, as soon as we move from $N\sim 58$, the model is ruled out by the current data.

An interacting holographic dark energy model within an induced gravity brane

In this paper, we present a model for the late-time evolution of the universe where a dark energy-dark matter interaction is invoked. Dark energy is modeled through an holographic Ricci dark energy component. The model is embedded within an induced gravity brane-world model. For suitable choices of the interaction coupling, the big rip and little rip induced by the holographic Ricci dark energy, in a relativistic model and in an induced gravity brane-world model, are removed. In this scenario, the holographic dark energy will have a phantom-like behaviour even though the brane is asymptotically de Sitter.

Induced gravity effect on inflationary parameters in an holographic cosmology

We investigate observational constraints on inflationary parameters in the context of an holographic cosmology with an induced gravity correction. We consider two situations where a universe is firstly filled with a scalar field and secondly with a tachyon field. Both cases are investigated in a slow-roll regime. We adopt a quadratic potential and an exponential potential for the scalar and the tachyon inflation respectively. In this regard, the standard background and perturbative parameters characterizing the inflationary era are modified by correction terms. We show a good agreement between theoretical model parameters and Planck2018 observational data for both scalar and tachyon fields.

Constraints on tachyon inflationary models with an AdS/CFT correspondence

In order to study the effect of the anti de Sitter/ conformal field theory correspondence (AdS/CFT) on the primordial inflationary era, we consider a universe filled with a tachyon field in a slow-roll regime. In this context, the background and perturbative parameters characterising the inflationary era are related to the standard one by correction terms. We show a clear agreement between the theoretical prediction and the observational data for the above mentioned model. The main results of our work are illustrated for an exponential potential. We show that, for a suitable conformal anomaly coefficient, AdS/CFT correspondence might leave its imprints on the spectrum of the gravitational waves amplitude with a tensor to scalar ratio, $r$, of the perturbations compatible with Planck data.

The little sibling of the big rip singularity

We present a new cosmological event, which we named the little sibling of the big rip. This event is much smoother than the big rip singularity. When the little sibling of the big rip is reached, the Hubble rate and the scale factor blow up but the cosmic derivative of the Hubble rate does not. This abrupt event takes place at an infinite cosmic time where the scalar curvature explodes. We show that a doomsday á la little sibling of the big rip is compatible with an accelerating universe, indeed at present it would mimic perfectly a LCDM scenario. It turns out that eventhough the event seems to be harmless as it takes place in the infinite future, the bound structures in the universe would be unavoidably destroyed on a finite cosmic time from now. The model can be motivated by considering that the weak energy condition should not be abusibely violated in our Universe, and it could give us some hints about the status of recently formulated nonlinear energy conditions.
