Intermediate symplectic $Q$-functions

We introduce an intermediate family of Laurent polynomials between Schur's $Q$-functions and S. Okada's symplectic $Q$-functions. It can also be regarded as a $Q$-function analogue of Proctor's intermediate symplectic characters, and is named the family of intermediate symplectic $Q$-functions. We also derive a tableau-sum formula and a Józefiak-Pragacz-type Pfaffian formula of the Laurent polynomials.

Jacobi complexes on the Ran space

We study local theory of moduli schemes using the framework of the Ran space. With the help of the study of sheaves and complexes over the Ran space by Beilinson and Drinfeld in their theory of chiral algebras, we revisit Ran's works on the Jacobi complexes (the Chevalley complexes for sheaves of Lie algebras on the Ran space), the universal deformation rings of moduli problems, the higher Kodaira-Spencer maps, and construction of Hitchin-type flat connections. We give rigorous treatments in the algebraic setting, which seems to be new.

Quantum toroidal algebras and motivic Hall algebras I. Hall algebras for singular elliptic curves

We consider the motivic Hall algebra of coherent sheaves over an irreducible reduced projective curve of arithmetic genus $1$. We introduce the composition subalgebra in the singular curve case, and show that it is isomorphic to the composition subalgebra for a smooth elliptic curve. As in the case of smooth elliptic case studied by Burban and Schiffmann, the reduced Drinfeld double of the composition subalgebra is isomorphic to the quantum toroidal algebra for $\mathfrak{gl}_1$ (also called Ding-Iohara-Miki algebra), and it inherits automorphisms induced from equivalences of the associated derived category. We show that one of the non-trivial automorphisms coincide with the one constructed by Miki in a purely algebraic manner.

Norm of the Whittaker vector of the deformed Virasoro algebra

We give a proof of the recursive formula on the norm of Whittaker vector of the deformed Virasoro algebra, which is an analog of the one for the Virasoro Lie algebra proposed by Al. Zamolodchikov. Our formula gives a proof of the pure SU(2) 5d AGT relation proposed by Awata and Yamada. We also give a summary of the structures of the deformed Virasoro algebra and the fundamental properties of the Verma module.

Whittaker vector of deformed Virasoro algebra and Macdonald symmetric functions

We give a proof of Awata and Yamada's conjecture for the explicit formula of Whittaker vector of the deformed Virasoro algebra realized in the Fock space. The formula is expressed as a summation over Macdonald symmetric functions with factored coefficients. In the proof we fully use currents appearing in the Fock representation of Ding-Iohara-Miki quantum algebra. We also mention an interpretation of Whittaker vector in terms of the geometry of the Hilbert schemes of points on the affine plane.

Fourier-Mukai transforms and the wall-crossing behavior for Bridgeland's stability conditions

Bridgeland stability condition is preserved under the Fourier-Mukai transform by its definition. We explain the relation with Gieseker stability. By studying the wall-crossing behavior, we reprove that the moduli spaces of stable sheaves on abelian surfaces are birationally equivalent, if the associated Mukai vectors are related by isometries of the Mukai lattice.

Five-dimensional SU(2) AGT conjecture and recursive formula of deformed Gaiotto state

This note deals with the five-dimensional pure SU(2) AGT conjecture proposed by Awata and Yamada. We give a conjecture on a recursive formula for the inner product of the deformed Gaiotto state. We also show that the K-theoretic pure SU(2) Nekrasov partition function satisfies the same recursion relation. Therefore the five-dimensional AGT conjecture is reduced to our conjectural recursive formula.
