In this paper, we study the centralizer of a partially hyperbolic diffeomorphism on T3 which is homotopic to an Anosov automorphism, and we show that either its centralizer is virtually trivial or such diffeomorphism is smoothly conjugate to its linear part.
We call a partially hyperbolic diffeomorphism \emph{partially volume expanding} if the Jacobian restricted to any hyperplane that contains the unstable bundle Eu is larger than 1. This is a C1 open property. We show that any C1+ partially volume expanding diffeomorphisms admits finitely many physical measures, the union of whose basins has full volume.
In this paper, we construct a partially hyperbolic skew-product diffeomorphism f on T3, such that f is accessible and chain transitive, but not transitive.
We prove that, for C1-generic diffeomorphisms, if a homoclinic class is not hyperbolic, then there is a non-hyperbolic ergodic measure supported on it. This proves a conjecture by Díaz and Gorodetski [28]. We also discuss the conjectured existence of periodic points with different stable dimension in the class.
We prove transitivity for volume preserving C1+ diffeomorphisms on T3 which are isotopic to a linear Anosov automorphism along a path of weakly partially hyperbolic diffeomorphisms.
Let f:T3→T3 be a partially hyperbolic diffeomorphism on the 3-torus T3. In his thesis, Hammerlindl proved that for lifted center foliation Ffc, there exists R>0, such that for any x∈R3, Ffc(x)⊂BR(x+Ec), where R3=Es⊕Ec⊕Eu is the partially hyperbolic splitting of the linear model of f. The same is true for the lifted center-stable and center-unstable foliations. Then he asked if the this property is true for strong stable and strong unstable foliations. In this note, we give a negative answer to Hammerlindl's question.
We prove that if f is a partially hyperbolic diffeomorphism on 3-torus T3 and isotopic to Anosov, then f is chain transitive.
We construct a diffeomorphism f on 2-torus with a dominated splitting E⊕F such that there exists an open neighborhood U∋f satisfying that for any g∈U, neither Eg nor Fg is integrable.
We prove for a generic star vector field X that, if for every chain recurrent class C of X all singularities in C have the same index, then the chain recurrent set of X is singular hyperbolic. We also prove that every Lyapunov stable chain recurrent class of X is singular hyperbolic. As a corollary, we prove that the chain recurrent set of a generic 4-dimensional star flow is singular hyperbolic.
We call that a vector field has the oriented shadowing property if for any ε>0 there is d>0 such that each d-pseudo orbit is ε-oriented shadowed by some real orbit. In this paper, we show that the C1-interior of the set of vector fields with the oriented shadowing property is contained in the set of vector fields with the Ω-stability.
We prove that for every three-dimensional vector field, either it can be accumulated by Morse-Smale ones, or it can be accumulated by ones with a transverse homoclinic intersection of some hyperbolic periodic orbit in the C1 topology.
We prove that for generic three-dimensional vector fields, domination implies singular hyperbolicity.
