Collapsing of the line bundle mean curvature flow on Kähler surfaces

We study the line bundle mean curvature flow on Kähler surfaces under the hypercritical phase and a certain semipositivity condition. We naturally encounter such a condition when considering the blowup of Kähler surfaces. We show that the flow converges smoothly to a singular solution to the deformed Hermitian-Yang-Mills equation away from a finite number of curves of negative self-intersection on the surface. As an application, we obtain a lower bound of a Kempf-Ness type functional on the space of potential functions satisfying the hypercritical phase condition.

The Kähler-Ricci flow and quantitative bounds for Donaldson-Futaki invariants of optimal degenerations

We establish a lower bound for the Donaldson-Futaki invariant of optimal degenerations produced by the Kähler-Ricci flow in terms of the greatest Ricci lower bound on arbitrary Fano manifolds. As an application, we can generalize the finiteness of the Futaki invariants on Kähler-Ricci solitons obtained by Guo-Phong-Song-Sturm to the space of all Fano manifolds. Also, we discuss the relation to Hisamoto's inequality for the infimum of the $H$-functional.

The moduli space of $S^1$-type zero loci for $\mathbb{Z}/2$-harmonic spinors in dimension 3

Let $M$ be a compact oriented 3-dimensional smooth manifold. In this paper, we construct a moduli space consisting of pairs $(Σ, ψ)$ where $Σ$ is a $C^1$-embedding simple closed curve in $M$, $ψ$ is a $\mathbb{Z}/2$-harmonic spinor vanishing only on $Σ$, and $\|ψ\|_{L^2_1}\neq 0$. We prove that when $Σ$ is $C^2$, a neighborhood of $(Σ, ψ)$ in the moduli space can be parametrized by the space of Riemannian metrics on $M$ locally as the kernel of a Fredholm operator.

Convergence of mean curvature flow in hyperkähler manifolds

Inspired by the work of Leung-Wan, we study the mean curvature flow in hyperkähler manifolds starting from hyper-Lagrangian submanifolds, a class of middle dimensional submanifolds, which contains the class of complex Lagrangian submanifolds. For each hyper-Lagrangian submanifold, we define a new energy concept called the "twistor energy" by means of the associated twistor family (i.e. 2-sphere of complex structures). We will show that the mean curvature flow starting at any hyper-Lagrangian submanifold with sufficiently small twistor energy will exist for all time and converge to a complex Lagrangian submanifold for one of the hyperkähler complex structure. In particular, our result implies some kind of energy gap theorem for hyperkähler manifolds which have no complex Lagrangian submanifolds.

Stability of anti-canonically balanced metrics

We study the asymptotic behavior of quantized Ding functionals along Bergman geodesic rays and prove that the slope at infinity can be expressed in terms of Donaldson-Futaki invariants and Chow weights. Based on the slope formula, we introduce a new algebro-geometric stability on Fano manifolds and show that the existence of anti-canonically balanced metrics implies our stability. The relation between our stability and others is also discussed. As another application of the slope formula, we get the lower bound estimate on the Calabi like functionals on Fano manifolds.

On the modified Futaki invariant of complete intersections in projective spaces

It is known that a necessary condition for the existence of Kähler-Ricci solitons is the vanishing of the modified Futaki invariant introduced by Tian-Zhu. In a recent work of Berman-Nyström, it was generalized for (singular) Fano varieties and the notion of algebro-geometric stability of the pair $(M,V)$ of a Fano manifold $M$ and a holomorphic vector field $V$ was introduced. In this paper, we propose a method of computing the modified Futaki invariant for Fano complete intersections in projective spaces.
