The homogenized enveloping Algebra of the Lie Algebra sl(2,C)

In this paper we study the homogenized algebra $B$ of the enveloping algebra $U$ of the Lie algebra sl(2,C). We look first to connections between the category of graded left $B$- modules and the category of $U$-modules, then we prove $B$ is Koszul and Artin-Schelter regular of global dimension four, hence its Yoneda algebra $% B^{!}$ is selfinjective of radical five zero, the structure of $B^{!}$ is given. We describe next the category of homogenized Verma modules, which correspond to the lifting to $B$ of the usual Verma modules over $U$, and prove that such modules are Koszul of projective dimension two. It was proved in [MZ] that all graded stable components of a selfinjective Koszul algebra are of type $ZA_{\infty}$, we characterize here the graded $B^{!}$% -modules corresponding under Koszul duality to the homogenized Verma modules, and prove that they are located at the mouth of a regular component, in this way we obtain a family of components over a wild algebra indexed by C. The paper ends with the description of a family of weight modules over $B$ which corresponds to the weight modules over $U$ and with a description of the category of $B$ - modules corresponding to the Gelfand's category $% \mathcal{O}$ of $U$-modules .

Dualities in Koszul graded AS Gorenstein algebras

The paper is dedicated to the study of certain non commutative graded AS Gorenstein algebras $Λ$. The main result of the paper is that for Koszul algebras $Λ$ with Yoneda algebra $Γ$, such that both $Λ$ and $Γ$ are graded AS Gorenstein noetherian of finite local cohomology dimension on both sides, there are dualities of triangulated categories: \underline{$gr$}$_Λ[Ω^{-1}]$ $\cong D^{b}(Qgr_Γ)$ and \underline{$gr$}$_Γ[Ω^{-1}]$ $\cong D^{b}(Qgr_Λ)$ where, and $Qgr_Γ$ is the category of tails, this is: the category of finitely generated graded modules $gr_Γ$ divided by the modules of finite length, and $D^{b}(Qgr_Γ)$ the corresponding derived category and \underline{$gr$}$_Λ[Ω^{-1}]$ the stabilization of the category of finetely generated graded $Λ$-modules, module the finetely generated projective modules.

On the homogenized Weyl Algebra

The aim of this paper is to give relations between the category of finetely generated graded modules over the homogeneized Weyl algebra $B_{n}$, the finetely generated modules over the Weyl algebra $A_{n}$ and the finetely generated graded modules over the Yoneda algebra $B_{n}^{!}$ of $B_{n}$. We will give these relations both at the level of the categories of modules and at the level of the derived categories.

Skew group algebras, invariants and Weyl Algebras

The aim of this paper is two fold: First to study finite groups $G$ of automorphisms of the homogenized Weyl algebra $B_{n}$, the skew group algebra $B_{n}\ast G$, the ring of invariants $B_{n}^{G}$, and the relations of these algebras with the Weyl algebra $A_{n}$, with the skew group algebra $A_{n}\ast G$, and with the ring of invariants $A_{n}^{G}$. Of particular interest is the case $n=1$. In the on the other hand, we consider the invariant ring $\QTR{sl}{C}[X]^{G}$ of the polynomial ring $K[X]$ in $n$ generators, where $G$ is a finite subgroup of $Gl(n,\QTR{sl}{C}$) such that any element in $G$ different from the identity does not have one as an eigenvalue. We study the relations between the category of finitely generated modules over $\QTR{sl}{C}[X]^{G}$ and the corresponding category over the skew group algebra $\QTR{sl}{C}% [X]\ast G$. We obtain a generalization of known results for $n=2$ and $G$ a finite subgroup of $Sl(2,C)$. In the last part of the paper we extend the results for the polynomial algebra $C[X]$ to the homogenized Weyl algebra $B_{n}$.

Artin-Schelter regular algebras and categories

Motivated by constructions in the representation theory of finite dimensional algebras we generalize the notion of Artin-Schelter regular algebras of dimension $n$ to algebras and categories to include Auslander algebras and a graded analogue for infinite representation type. A generalized Artin-Schelter regular algebra or a category of dimension $n$ is shown to have common properties with the classical Artin-Schelter regular algebras. In particular, when they admit a duality, then they satisfy Serre duality formulas and the $\Ext$-category of nice sets of simple objects of maximal projective dimension $n$ is a finite length Frobenius category.

Graded and Koszul categories

Koszul algebras have arisen in many contexts; algebraic geometry, combinatorics, Lie algebras, non-commutative geometry and topology. The aim of this paper and several sequel papers is to show that for any finite dimensional algebra there is always a naturally associated Koszul theory. To obtain this, the notions of Koszul algebras, linear modules and Koszul duality are extended to additive (graded) categories over a field. The main focus of this paper is to provide these generalizations and the necessary preliminaries.
