Integrable generators of Lie algebras of vector fields on $\mathrm{SL}_2(\mathbb{C})$ and on $xy = z^2$

For the special linear group $\mathrm{SL}_2(\mathbb{C})$ and for the singular quadratic Danielewski surface $x y = z^2$ we give explicitly a finite number of complete polynomial vector fields that generate the Lie algebra of all polynomial vector fields on them. Moreover, we give three unipotent one-parameter subgroups that generate a subgroup of algebraic automorphisms acting infinitely transitively on $x y = z^2$.

The density property for Gizatullin surfaces of type $[[0,0,-r_2,-r_3]]$

Gizatullin surfaces of type $[[0,0,-r_2,-r_3]]$ can be described by the equations $yu = x P(x)$, $xv = u Q(u)$ and $yv = P(x) Q(u)$ in $\mathbb{C}^4_{x,y,u,v}$ where $P$ and $Q$ are non-constant polynomials. We establish the algebraic density property for smooth Gizatullin surfaces of this type. Moreover we also prove the density property for smooth surfaces given by these equations when $P$ and $Q$ are holomorphic functions.

Free dense subgroups of holomorphic automorphisms

We show the existence of free dense subgroups, generated by 2 elements, in the holomorphic shear and overshear group of complex-Euklidean space and extend this result to the group of holomorphic automorphisms of Stein manifolds with Density Property, provided there exists a generalized translation. The conjugation operator associated to this generalized translation is hypercyclic on the topological space of holomorphic automorphisms.

Riemann surfaces in Stein manifolds with density property

It is shown that any open Riemann surface can be immersed in any Stein manifold with (volume) density property and of dimension at least 2, if the manifold possesses an exhaustion with holomorphically convex compacts such that their complement is connected. The immersion can be made into an embedding if the dimension is at least 3. As an application, it is shown that Stein manifolds with (volume) density property and of dimension at least 3, are characterized among all other complex manifolds by their semigroup of holomorphic endomorphisms.
