Supersymmetric Hyperbolic σσ-models and Decay of Correlations in Two Dimensions

In this paper we study a family of nonlinear σσ-models in which the target space is the super manifold H2∣2NH^{2|2N}. These models generalize Zirnbauer's H2∣2H^{2|2} nonlinear σσ-model which has a number of special features for which we find analogs in the general case. For example, by supersymmetric localization, the partition function of the H2∣2H^{2|2} model is a constants independent of the coupling constants. Here we show that for the H2∣2NH^{2|2N} model, the partition function is a multivariate polynomial of degree N−1N-1, increasing in each variable. We use these facts to provide estimates on the Fourier and Laplace transforms of the 'tt-field' when these models are specialized to Z2\mathbb{Z}^2. From the bounds, we conclude the tt-field exhibits polynomial decay of correlations and has fluctuations which are at least those of a massless free field.

Invariance principle for `push' tagged particles for a Toom Interface

In many interacting particle systems, tagged particles move diffusively upon subtracting a drift. General techniques to prove such `invariance principles' are available for reversible processes (Kipnis-Varadhan) and for non-reversible processes in dimension d>2d>2. The interest of our paper is that it considers a non-reversible one-dimensional process: the Toom model. The reason that we can prove the invariance principle is that in this model, push-tagged particles move manifestly slower than second-class particles.

Central Limit Theorems for the Energy Density in the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick Model

In this paper we consider central limit theorems for various macroscopic observables in the high temperature region of the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick spin glass model. With a particular focus on obtaining a quenched central limit theorem for the energy density of the system with non-zero external field, we show how to combine the mean field cavity method with Stein's method in the quenched regime. The result for the energy density extends the corresponding result of Comets-Neveu.
