For the magnetic Hamiltonian with singular vector potentials, we analytically continue the resolvent to a logarithmic neighborhood of the positive real axis and prove resolvent estimates there. As applications, we obtain asymptotic locations of resonances and a local smoothing estimate for solutions of the corresponding Schrödinger equation.
We study leading order singularities of the wave trace of the Aharonov--Bohm Hamiltonian on $\mathbf{R}^2$ with multiple solenoids under a generic assumption that no three solenoids are collinear. Then we apply our formula to get a lower bound of scattering resonances in a logarithmic neighborhood near the real axis.
We consider the problem of finding the resonances of the Laplacian on truncated Riemannian cones. In a similar fashion to Cheeger--Taylor, we construct the resolvent and scattering matrix for the Laplacian on cones and truncated cones. Following Stefanov, we show that the resonances on the truncated cone are distributed asymptotically as Ar^n + o(r^n), where A is an explicit coefficient. We also conclude that the Laplacian on a non-truncated cone has no resonances away from zero.
