Analysis of the radiative decays ΣQ→ΛQγΣ_Q \to Λ_Q γ and ΞQ′→ΞQγΞ^\prime_Q \to Ξ_Q γ in light cone sum rules

The light cone sum rules method is used in studying the radiative decays ΣQ→ΛQγΣ_Q \to Λ_Q γ and ΞQ′→ΞQγΞ^\prime_Q \to Ξ_Q γ. Firstly, the sum rules for the form factor F2(Q2=0)F_2(Q^2=0) responsible for these transitions is constructed. Using this result the decay widths of the above--mentioned decays are calculated and analyzed. A comparison of our predictions on the decay widths of considered transitions with the predictions of the other approaches is presented.

Magnetic dipole moments of the negative parity JPC=2−−J^{PC}=2^{--} mesons in QCD

Magnetic dipole moments of the negative parity light and heavy tensor mesons are calculated within the light cone QCD sum rules method. The results are compared with the positive parity counterparts of the corresponding tensor mesons. The results of the analysis show that the magnetic dipole moments of the negative parity light mesons are smaller compared to those of the positive parity mesons. Contrary to the light meson case, magnetic dipole moments of the negative parity heavy mesons are larger than the ones for the positive parity mesons.

Strong coupling constant of negative parity octet baryons with light pseudoscalar mesons in light cone QCD sum rules

The strong coupling constants of the ππ and KK mesons with negative parity octet baryons are estimated within the light cone QCD sum rules. It is observed that all strong coupling constants, similar to the case for the positive parity baryons, can be described in terms of three invariant functions, where two of them correspond to the well known FF and DD couplings in the SU(3)fSU(3)_f symmetry, and the third function describes the SU(3)fSU(3)_f symmetry violating effects. We compare our predictions on the strong coupling constants of pseudoscalar mesons of negative parity baryons with those corresponding to the strong coupling constants for the positive parity baryons.

Diagonal and transition magnetic moments of negative parity heavy baryons in QCD sum rules

Diagonal and transition magnetic moments of the negative parity, spin-1/2 heavy baryons are studied in framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. By constructing the sum rules for different Lorentz structures, the unwanted contributions coming from negative (positive) to positive (negative) parity transitions are removed. It is obtained that the magnetic moments of all baryons, except Λb0Λ_b^0, Σc+Σ_c^+ and Ξc′+Ξ_c^{\prime +}, are quite large. It is also found that the transition magnetic moments between neutral negative parity heavy ΞQ′0Ξ_Q^{\prime 0} and ΞQ0Ξ_Q^0 baryons are very small. Magnetic moments of the ΣQ→ΛQΣ_Q \to Λ_Q and ΞQ′±→ΞQ± Ξ_Q^{\prime \pm} \to Ξ_Q^\pm transitions are quite large and can be measured in further experiments.

Magnetic dipole moments of the heavy tensor mesons in QCD

The magnetic dipole moments of the D2{\cal D}_2, and DS2{\cal D}_{S_2}, B2{\cal B}_2, and BS2{\cal B}_{S_2} heavy tensor mesons are estimated in framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. It is observed that the magnetic dipole moments for the charged mesons are larger than that of its neutral counterpart. It is found that the SU(3)SU(3) flavor symmetry violation is about 10\% in both bb and cc sectors.

Magnetic moment for the negative parity Λ→Σ0Λ\to Σ^0 transition in light cone QCD sum rules

The magnetic moment of the Λ→Σ0Λ\to Σ^0 transition between negative parity, baryons is calculated in framework of the QCD sum rules approach, using the general form of the interpolating currents. The pollution arising from the positive--to--positive, and positive to negative parity baryons are eliminated by constructing the sum rules for different Lorentz structures. Nonzero value of the considered magnetic moment can be attributed to the violation of the SU(3)SU(3) symmetry.

Magnetic dipole moment of the light tensor mesons in light cone QCD sum rules

The magnetic dipole moments of the light tensor mesons f2f_2, a2a_2 and strange K2∗0(1430)K_2^{\ast 0} (1430) tensor meson are calculated in the framework of the light cone QCD sum rules. It is observed that the values of the magnetic dipole moment for the charged tensor particles are considerably different from zero. These values are very close to zero for the light neutral f2f_2 and a2a_2 tensor mesons, while it has a small nonzero value for the neutral strange K2∗0(1430)K_2^{\ast 0} (1430) tensor meson.

Strong Coupling Constants of Decuplet Baryons with Vector Mesons

We provide a comprehensive study of strong coupling constants of decuplet baryons with light nonet vector mesons in the framework of light cone QCD sum rules. Using the symmetry arguments, we argue that all coupling constants entering the calculations can be expressed in terms of only one invariant function even if the SU(3)fSU(3)_f symmetry breaking effects are taken into account. We estimate the order of SU(3)fSU(3)_f symmetry violations, which are automatically considered by the employed approach.
