Double Higgs production at TeV $e^+e^-$ colliders with Effective Field Theories: sensitivity to BSM Higgs couplings

In this work we study the production of two Higgs bosons at the two planned electron positron colliders with energies at the TeV domain, CLIC and ILC, within the context of Effective Field Theories (EFTs) to describe beyond the Standard Model Higgs Physics. We focus first on the case of the Higgs Effective Field Theory (HEFT) and next we compare with the case of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT). The predictions for double Higgs production in both EFTs are first presented for the most relevant subprocess participating in the total process of our interest, $e^+e^- \to HH ν\bar ν$, which is the scattering of two gauge bosons, $WW \to HH$, also called $WW$ fusion. The predictions for the cross section $ σ(W_X W_Y\to HH)$ as a function of the subprocess energy are analyzed in full detail for the two EFTs, for all the polarization channels with longitudinal and transverse modes $XY=LL, TT,LT,TL$, and for the most relevant effective operators in both cases. We will demonstrate that in the HEFT case, the total cross section can be fully understood in terms of the $LL$ contribution and this in turn is dominated at these TeV energies mainly by two HEFT coefficients. By doing the matching between the two EFTs at the level of the scattering amplitude for the subprocess, we will be able to find the correspondence of the leading coefficients in the HEFT and the SMEFT. In the final part of this work we will then explore the sensitivity to these two most relevant HEFT coefficients, at CLIC (3 TeV, 5 ab$^{-1}$) and ILC (1 TeV, 8 ab$^{-1}$). We will then conclude on the accessible region of these two parameters by studying the predicted rates at these two $e^+e^-$ colliders for the final state $b \bar b b \bar b ν\bar ν$ leading to characteristic signals with 4 bottom jets and missing energy.

Triple Higgs Couplings in the 2HDM: The Complete Picture

The measurement of the triple Higgs coupling is one of the main tasks of the (HL-)LHC and future lepton colliders. Similarly, triple Higgs couplings involving BSM Higgs bosons are of high interest. Within the framework of Two Higgs Doublet Models (2HDM) we investigate the allowed ranges for all triple Higgs couplings involving at least one light, SM-like Higgs boson. We present newly the allowed ranges for 2HDM type III and IV and update the results within the type I and II. We take into account theoretical constraints from unitarity and stability, experimental constraints from direct BSM Higgs-boson searches, measurements of the rates of the SM-like Higgs-boson at the LHC, as well as flavor observables and electroweak precision data. For the SM-type triple Higgs coupling w.r.t. its SM value, $λ_{hhh}/λ_{hhh}^\mathrm{SM}$, we find allowed intervals of $\sim [-0.5,1.3]$ in type~I and $\sim [0.5,1.0]$ in the other Yukawa types. These allowed ranges have important implications for the experimental determination of this coupling at future collider experiments. We find the coupling $λ_{hhH}$ between $\sim -1.5$ and $\sim +1.5$ in the four Yukawa types. For the triple Higgs couplings involving two heavy neutral Higgs bosons, $λ_{hHH}$ and $λ_{hAA}$ we find values between $\sim -0.5$ and $\sim 16$, and between $\sim -1$ and $\sim 32$ for $λ_{hH^+H^-}$. These potentially large values could lead to strongly enhanced production of two Higgs-bosons at the HL-LHC or high-energy lepton colliders.

Dynamical vector resonances from the EChL in VBS at the LHC: the WW case

In this work we study the phenomenology of the process $pp\to W^+W^-jj$ at the LHC, in the scenario of the resonant vector boson scattering subprocess $W^+W^-\to W^+W^-$ which we describe within the effective field theory framework of the Electroweak Chiral Lagrangian. We assume a strongly interacting electroweak symmetry breaking sector in which dynamically generated resonances with masses in the TeV scale appear as poles in the Electroweak Chiral Lagrangian amplitudes unitarized with the Inverse Amplitude Method. The relevant resonance here, $V_0$, is the neutral component of the triplet of vector resonances which are known to emerge dynamically at the TeV scale for specific values of the Electroweak Chiral Lagrangian parameters. With the aim of studying the production and possible observation of $V^0$ at the LHC, via the resonant $W^+W^-\to W^+W^-$ scattering, a MadGraph~5 UFO model has been developed employing a phenomenological Proca Lagrangian as a practical tool to mimic the correct $V^0$ properties that are predicted with the Inverse Amplitude Method. We choose to study the fully hadronic decay channel of the final gauge bosons $W W\to J(jj)J(jj)$ since it leads to larger event rates and because in the alternative leptonic decay channels the presence of neutrinos complicates the reconstruction of the resonance properties. In this context, the 2 boosted jets from the $W$ hadronic decays, $jj$, are detected as a single fat jet, $J$, due to their extreme collinearity. We perform a dedicated analysis of the sensitivity to these vector resonances $V^0$ with masses between 1.5 and 2.5 TeV at the LHC with $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV and the planned high luminosity of 3000 ${\rm fb}^{-1}$, paying special attention to the study of efficient cuts to extract the resonant vector boson fusion signal from the QCD background, which clearly represents the main challenge of this search.

Analysis of the $h, H, A \to τμ$ decays induced from SUSY loops within the Mass Insertion Approximation

In this paper we study the lepton favor violating decay channels of the neutral Higgs bosons of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model into a lepton and an anti-lepton of different flavor. We work in the context of the most general flavor mixing scenario in the slepton sector, in contrast to the minimal flavor violation assumption more frequently used. Our analytic computation is a one-loop diagrammatic one, but in contrast to the full one-loop computation which is usually referred to the physical slepton mass basis, we use here instead the Mass Insertion Approximation (MIA) which uses the electroweak interaction slepton basis and treats perturbatively the mass insertions changing slepton flavor. By performing an expansion in powers of the external momenta in the relevant form factors, we will be able to separate explicitly in the analytic results the leading non-decoupling (constant at asymptotically large sparticle masses) and the next to leading decoupling contributions (decreasing with the sparticle masses). Our final aim is to provide a set of simple analytic formulas for the form factors and the associated effective vertices, that we think may be very useful for future phenomenological studies of the lepton flavor violating Higgs boson decays, and for their comparison with data. The accuracy of the numerical results obtained with the MIA are also analyzed and discussed here in comparison with the full one-loop results. Our most optimistic numerical estimates for the three neutral Higgs boson decays channels into $τ$ and $μ$ leptons, searching for their maximum rates that are allowed by present constraints from $τ\to μγ$ data and beyond Standard Model Higgs boson searches at the LHC, are also included.

Enhancement of the lepton flavor violating Higgs boson decay rates from SUSY loops in the inverse seesaw model

In this article we study the full one-loop SUSY contributions to the lepton flavor violating Higgs decay $h \to τ\bar μ$, within the context of the supersymmetric inverse sesaw model. We assume that both the right-handed neutrino masses, $M_R$, and their supersymmetric partner masses, $m_{\tilde ν_R}$, are not far from the interesting ${\cal O}({\rm TeV})$ energy scale, and we work with scenarios with large neutrino Yukawa couplings that transmit large lepton flavor violating effects. By exploring the behavior with the most relevant parameters, mainly $M_R$, $m_{\tilde ν_R}$ and the trilinear sneutrino coupling $A_ν$, we will look for regions of the parameter space where the enhancement of $\mathrm{BR}(h\rightarrow τ\bar μ)$ is large enough to reach values at the percent level, which could explain the excess recently reported by CMS and ATLAS at the CERN Large Hadron Collider.

Lepton Flavour Violating Higgs Decays in the (SUSY) Inverse Seesaw

The observation of charged lepton flavour violation would be a smoking gun for new physics and could help in pinpointing the mechanism at the origin of neutrino masses and mixing. We present here our recent studies of lepton flavour violating Higgs decays in the inverse seesaw and its supersymmetric embedding, two examples of low-scale seesaw mechanisms. We predict branching ratios as large as $10^{-5}$ for the decays $h\rightarrow τμ$ and $h \rightarrow τe$ in the inverse seesaw, which can be probed in future colliders. Supersymmetric contributions can enhance the branching ratio of $h\rightarrow τμ$ up to $1\%$, making it large enough to explain the small excess observed by ATLAS and CMS.

Exotic $μτj j$ events from heavy ISS neutrinos at the LHC

In this letter we study new relevant phenomenological consequences of the right-handed heavy neutrinos with masses at the ${\cal O}(1)$ TeV energy scale, working within the context of the Inverse Seesaw Model that includes three pairs of quasi-degenerate pseudo-Dirac heavy neutrinos. We propose a new exotic signal of these heavy neutrinos at the CERN Large Hadron Collider containing a muon, a tau lepton, and two jets in the final state, which is based on the interesting fact that this model can incorporate large Lepton Flavor Violation for specific choices of the relevant parameters, particularly, the neutrino Yukawa couplings. We will show here that an observable number of $μτjj$ exotic events, without missing energy, can be produced at this ongoing run of the LHC.

Imprints of massive inverse seesaw model neutrinos in lepton flavor violating Higgs boson decays

In this paper we consider a Higgs boson with mass and other properties compatible with those of the recently discovered Higgs particle at the LHC, and explore the possibility of new Higgs leptonic decays, beyond the standard model, with the singular feature of being lepton flavor violating (LFV). We study these LFV Higgs decays, $H \to l_k\bar l_m$, within the context of the inverse seesaw model (ISS) and consider the most generic case where three additional pairs of massive right-handed singlet neutrinos are added to the standard model particle content. We require in addition that the input parameters of this ISS model are compatible with the present neutrino data and other constraints, like perturbativity of the neutrino Yukawa couplings. We present a full one-loop computation of the BR($H \to l_k\bar l_m$) rates for the three possible channels, $l_k\bar l_m=μ\bar τ,\, e \bar τ,\, e \bar μ$, and analyze in full detail the predictions as functions of the various relevant ISS parameters. We study in parallel the correlated one-loop predictions for the radiative decays, $l_m \to l_k γ$, within this same ISS context, and require full compatibility of our predictions with the present experimental bounds for the three radiative decays, $μ\to e γ$, $τ\to μγ$, and $τ\to e γ$. After exploring the ISS parameter space we conclude on the maximum allowed LFV Higgs decay rates within the ISS.

Non-decoupling SUSY in LFV Higgs decays: a window to new physics at the LHC

The recent discovery of a SM-like Higgs boson at the LHC, with a mass around 125-126 GeV, together with the absence of results in the direct searches for supersymmetry, is pushing the SUSY scale ($m_\text{SUSY}$) into the multi-TeV range. This discouraging situation from a low-energy SUSY point of view has its counterpart in indirect SUSY observables which present a non-decoupling behavior with $m_\text{SUSY}$. This is the case of the one-loop lepton flavor violating Higgs decay rates induced by SUSY, which are shown here to remain constant as $m_\text{SUSY}$ grows, for large $m_\text{SUSY} >$ 2 TeV values and for all classes of intergenerational mixing in the slepton sector, $LL$, $LR$, $RL$ and $RR$. In this work we focus on the LFV decays of the three neutral MSSM Higgs bosons $h$, $H$, $A \to τμ$, considering the four types of slepton mixing ($δ_{23}^{LL}$, $δ_{23}^{LR}$, $δ_{23}^{RL}$, $δ_{23}^{RR}$), and show that all the three channels could be measurable at the LHC, being $h \to τμ$ the most promising one, with up to about hundred of events expected with the current LHC center-of-mass energy and luminosity. The most promising predictions for the future LHC stage are also included.

Radiative corrections to $M_h$ from three generations of Majorana neutrinos and sneutrinos

In this work we study the radiative corrections to the mass of the lightest Higgs boson of the MSSM from three generations of Majorana neutrinos and sneutrinos. The spectrum of the MSSM is augmented by three right handed neutrinos and their supersymmetric partners. A seesaw mechanism of type I is used to generate the physical neutrino masses and oscillations that we require to be in agreement with present neutrino data. We present a full one-loop computation of these Higgs mass corrections, and analyze in full detail their numerical size in terms of both the MSSM and the new (s)neutrino parameters. A critical discussion on the different possible renormalization schemes and their implications is included.

Electroweak chiral Lagrangian with a light Higgs and $γγ\to Z_L Z_L, W_L^+ W_L^-$ scattering at one loop

In these proceedings we provide a brief summary of the findings of a previous article where we have studied the photon-photon scattering into longitudinal weak bosons within the context of the electroweak chiral Lagrangian with a light Higgs, a low-energy effective field theory including a Higgs-like scalar singlet and where the electroweak would-be Goldstone bosons are non-linearly realized. We consider the relevant Lagrangian up to next-to-leading order in the chiral counting, which is explained in some detail here. We find that these amplitudes are ultraviolet finite and the relevant combinations of next-to-leading parameters ($c_γ$ and $a_1-a_2+a_3$) do not get renormalized. We propose the joined analysis of $γγ$-scattering and other photon related observables ($Γ(h\toγγ)$, $S$--parameter and the $γ^*\to W^+_LW^-_L$ and $γ^*\to hγ$ electromagnetic form-factors) in order to separate and determine each chiral parameter. Moreover, the correlations between observables provided by the NLO computations would lead to more stringent bounds on the new physics that is parametrized by means of this effective Lagrangian. We also show an explicit computation of the $γγ$--scattering up to next-to-leading order in the $SO(5)/SO(4)$ minimally composite Higgs model.

Electroweak Chiral Lagrangians and $γγ\to Z_L Z_L,\, W_L^+ W_L^-$ at One Loop

In these proceedings we discuss our recent work on $γγ\to W^+_L W^-_L$ and $γγ\to Z_L Z_L$ within the framework of Electroweak Chiral Lagrangians with a light Higgs. These observables are good candidates to provide indications of physics beyond the Standard Model and can complement other analyses and global fits. Making use of the equivalence theorem, we have performed the computation up to the next-to-leading order in the chiral expansion, i.e., including one-loop corrections and the full set of possible counterterms allowed at that order in the low-energy effective field theory. The one-loop amplitudes turn out to have a extremely simple structure and they are ultraviolet finite. Thus, the relevant combinations of higher order chiral couplings $c_γ^r$ and $(a_1^r-a_2^r+a_3^r)$ do not run. We also identify an additional set of observables that depend on these same parameters, which can be use to complement the $γγ$ analysis through a global fit.

Lepton flavour violating Higgs decays

We present our study of lepton flavour violating decays of a Higgs boson with properties compatible with those of the particle recently discovered at the LHC. We worked in the context of the inverse seesaw model, considering the most generic case where the Standard Model is extended by three pairs of fermionic singlets in order to generate the neutrino masses and mixings required by neutrino oscillations. Using a full one-loop calculation together with the most recent experimental and theoretical constraints, we discuss the dependence on the parameters of the inverse seesaw model before concluding on the largest allowed branching ratios through scans over the full parameter space.

Radiatively-induced LFV Higgs Decays from Massive ISS Neutrinos

In the inverse seesaw model (ISS), the smallness of the neutrino masses is related to the smallness of a lepton number violating mass term whilst the seesaw scale is naturally close to the TeV scale, which allows for large effects in lepton flavor and universality violating observables. With the ongoing and planned measurements of the Higgs boson properties at the LHC, we found timely to investigate the possibility of having large lepton flavor violating Higgs decay (LFVHD) rates within the context of the ISS, considering the most generic case where three additional pairs of massive right-handed singlet neutrinos are added to the Standard Model particle content. We present a full one-loop computation of the LFVHD rates and analyze in full detail the predictions as functions of the various relevant ISS parameters, which are required to be compatible with the present neutrino data and the present experimental bounds for the three LFV radiative decays, and also consistent with other constraints, like perturbativity of the neutrino Yukawa couplings. At the end, we conclude on the maximum allowed LFVHD rates within the ISS, which may reach maximal values of order $10^{-5}$ for the $H \to e \bar τ$ and $H \to μ\bar τ$ channels, close to the expected future LHC sensitivities.

Updated Constraints on General Squark Flavor Mixing

We explore the phenomenological implications on non-minimal flavor violating (NMFV) processes from squark flavor mixing within the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. We work under the model-independent hypothesis of general flavor mixing in the squark sector, being parametrized by a complete set of dimensionless delta^AB_ij (A,B = L, R; i,j = u, c, t or d, s, b) parameters. The present upper bounds on the most relevant NMFV processes, together with the requirement of compatibility in the choice of the MSSM parameters with the recent LHC and g-2 data, lead to updated constraints on all squark flavor mixing parameters.

The present upper bounds on the most relevant LFV processes, together with the requirement of compatibility in the choice of the MSSM parameters with the recent LHC and (g-2) data, lead to updated constraints on all slepton flavor mixing parameters. A comparative discussion of the most effective LFV processes to constrain the various generation mixings is included.

Heavy Majorana neutrino effects on MSSM-Mh

We study the effects of heavy Majorana neutrinos on the Higgs sector of the MSSM via radiative corrections. We work within the SUSY context where the MSSM particle content is enlarged with right handed neutrinos and their corresponding SUSY partners, the sneutrinos, and where compatibility with neutrino data is required. We compute the one-loop corrections to the mass of the lightest MSSM CP-even neutral Higgs boson from Majorana neutrinos and their SUSY partners and assume a seesaw mechanism of type I for neutrino mass generation. A negative and sizeable Higgs mass correction of up to -5 GeV is found for a heavy Majorana mass of up to 10^{15} GeV. This negative correction can grow up to several tens of GeV if the soft SUSY breaking mass associated to their sneutrino partners is simmilarly heavy as the Majorana mass.

Higgs Boson masses and B-Physics Constraints in Non-Minimal Flavor Violating SUSY scenarios

We present one-loop corrections to the Higgs boson masses in the MSSM with Non-Minimal Flavor Violation. The flavor violation is generated from the hypothesis of general flavor mixing in the squark mass matrices, and these are parameterized by a complete set of delta^XY_ij (X, Y = L,R; i; j = t, c, u or b, s, d). We calculate the corrections to the Higgs masses in terms of these delta^XY_ij taking into account all relevant restrictions from B-physics data. This includes constraints from BR(B -> Xs gamma), BR(Bs -> mu+ mu-) and delta M_B_s . After taking into account these constraints we find sizable corrections to the Higgs boson masses, in the case of the lightest MSSM Higgs boson mass exceeding tens of GeV. These corrections are found mainly for the low tan beta case. In the case of a Higgs boson mass measurement these corrections might be used to set further constraints on delta^XY_ij.

Mh in the MSSM-seesaw scenario with ILC precision

We review the computation of the one-loop radiative corrections from the neutrino/ sneutrino sector to the lightest Higgs boson mass, Mh, within the context of the so-called MSSM-seesaw scenario. This model introduces right handed neutrinos and their supersymmetric partners, the sneutrinos, including Majorana mass terms. We find negative and sizeable corrections to Mh, up to -5 GeV for a large Majorana scale, 10^{13}-10^{15} GeV, and for the lightest neutrino mass in a range 0.1-1 eV. The corrections to Mh are substantially larger than the anticipated ILC precision for large regions of the MSSM-seesaw parameter space.

The Higgs sector of the NMFV MSSM at the ILC

We calculate the one-loop corrections to the Higgs boson masses within the context of the MSSM with Non-Minimal Flavor Violation in the squark sector. We take into account all the relevant restrictions from BR(B -> X_s gamma), BR(B_s -> mu^+ mu^-) and ΔM_{B_s}. We find sizable corrections to the lightest Higgs boson mass that are considerably larger than the expected ILC precision for acceptable values of the mixing parameters deltas. We find delta^{LR}_{ct} and delta^{RL}_{ct} specially relevant, mainly at low tan beta.

Higgs Boson Masses in the MSSM with Heavy Majorana Neutrinos

We present a full diagrammatic computation of the one-loop corrections from the neutrino/sneutrino sector to the renormalized neutral CP-even Higgs boson self-energies and the lightest Higgs boson mass, Mh, within the context of the so-called MSSM-seesaw scenario. This consists of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with the addition of massive right handed Majorana neutrinos and their supersymmetric partners, and where the seesaw mechanism is used for the lightest neutrino mass generation. We explore the dependence on all the parameters involved, with particular emphasis in the role played by the heavy Majorana scale. We restrict ourselves to the case of one generation of neutrinos/sneutrinos. For the numerical part of the study, we consider a very wide range of values for all the parameters involved. We find sizeable corrections to Mh, which are negative in the region where the Majorana scale is large (10^{13}-10^{15} GeV) and the lightest neutrino mass is within a range inspired by data (0.1-1 eV). For some regions of the MSSM-seesaw parameter space, the corrections to Mh are substantially larger than the anticipated Large Hadron Collider precision.

M_h in MSSM with Heavy Majorana Neutrinos

We review the main results of the one-loop radiative corrections from the neutrino/sneutrino sector to the lightest Higgs boson mass, M_h, within the context of the so-called MSSM-seesaw scenario where right handed neutrinos and their supersymmetric partners are included in order to explain neutrino masses. For simplicity, we have restricted ourselves to the one generation case. We find sizable corrections to M_h, which are negative in the region where the Majorana scale is large (10^{13} - 10^{15} GeV) and the lightest neutrino mass is within a range inspired by data (0.1 - 1 eV). For some regions of the MSSM-seesaw parameter space, the corrections to M_h are substantially larger than the anticipated LHC precision.

Sensitivity to the Higgs Sector of SUSY-Seesaw Models in the Lepton Flavour Violating tau-->mu f0(980) decay

In this work we study the Lepton Flavour Violating semileptonic tau --> mu f0(980) decay within the context of SUSY-Seesaw Models, where the MSSM spectrum is extended by three right handed neutrinos and their SUSY partners, and where the seesaw mechanism is used to generate the neutrino masses. We estimate its decay rate when it proceeds via the Higgs mediated channel tau --> mu H* --> mu f0(980), where H refers to the CP-even MSSM Higgs bosons h^0 and H^0, and the Lepton Flavour Violating tau mu H vertex is radiatively generated via SUSY loops. In order to describe the f0(980) meson we follow the guidelines from chiral constraints. As an implication of our computation, we explore the sensitivity to the Higgs sector in this decay and compare it with other LFV tau decay channels. The confrontation of our predictions for BR(tau --> mu f0(980)) with its very competitive present experimental bound leads us to extract some interesting restrictions on the most relevant model parameters, particularly, tanbeta and m_{H^0}.

The SM as the Quantum Low Energy Effective Theory of the MSSM

In the framework of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model we compute the one-loop effective action for the electroweak bosons obtained after integrating out the different sleptons, squarks, neutralinos and charginos, and present the result in terms of the physical sparticle masses. In addition we study the asymptotic behaviour of the two, three and four point Green's functions with external electroweak bosons in the limit where the physical sparticle masses are very large in comparison with the electroweak scale. We find that in this limit all the effects produced by the supersymmetric particles can be, either absorbed in the Standard Model parameters and gauge bosons wave functions, or else they are supressed by inverse powers of the supersymmetric particle masses. This work, therefore, completes the proof of decoupling of the heavy supersymmetric particles from the standard ones in the electroweak bosons effective action and in the sense of the Appelquist-Carazzone Theorem that we started in a previous work. From the point of view of effective field theories this work can be seen as a (partial) proof that the SM can be obtained indeed from the MSSM as the quantum low energy effective theory of this latter when the SUSY spectra is much heavier than the electroweak scale.

Decoupling of supersymmetric particles

The possibility of a heavy supersymmetric spectrum at the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model is considered and the decoupling from the low energy electroweak scale is analyzed in detail. The formal proof of decoupling of supersymmetric particles from low energy physics is stated in terms of the effective action for the particles of the Standard Model that results by integrating out all the sparticles in the limit where their masses are larger than the electroweak scale. The computation of the effective action for the standard electroweak gauge bosons W^{+-}, Z and γis performed by integrating out all the squarks, sleptons, charginos and neutralinos to one-loop. The Higgs sector is not considered in this paper. The large sparticle masses limit is also analyzed in detail. Explicit analytical formulae for the two-point functions of the electroweak gauge bosons to be valid in that limit are presented. Finally, the decoupling of sparticles in the S, T and U parameters is studied analitically. A discussion on how the decoupling takes place in terms of both the physical sparticle masses and the non-physical mass parameters as the μ-parameter and the soft-breaking parameters is included.

Learning about the strongly interacting symmetry breaking sector at LHC

In the present work we study the predictions for $WZ$ and $ZZ$ production at LHC with the Electroweak Chiral Lagrangian (EChL) approach. Our analysis will be focused on the less favored case from the experimental point of view, in which the predictions for the gauge bosons scattering amplitudes are considered in the low energy range where, by construction of the low energy approach, they reveal no resonant behavior. The study includes the complete set of amplitudes for all the polarization states of the initial and/or final gauge bosons and makes no use of the Equivalence Theorem. We express the results in terms of the range of values of the chiral parameters that will be accessible at LHC.
