Masses of Single, Double and Triple Heavy baryons in the Hyper-Central Quark Model by Using GF-AEIM

In this paper, we calculate single, double and triple heavy baryons masses using hyper-central approach in the two cases. The first case, considering potential is a combination of Coulombic, linear confining and harmonic oscillator terms. The second case, we add the hyperfine interaction. The hyper-radial Schrodinger equation in the two cases is solved to obtain energy eigenvalues and the baryonic wave function by using the generalized fractional analytical iteration method (GF-AEIM). The present results are a good agreement with experimental data and are improved with other recent works.

Quarkonium Masses in a hot QCD Medium Using Conformable Fractional of the Nikiforov-Uvarov Method

By using conformable fractional of the Nikiforov-Uvarov (CF-NU) method, the radial Schrodinger equation is analytically solved. The energy eigenvalues and corresponding functions are obtained, in which the dependent temperature potential is employed. The effect of fraction-order parameter is studied on heavy-quarkonium masses such as charmonium and bottomonium in a hot QCD medium in the 3D and the higher dimensional space. A comparison is studied with recent works. We conclude that the fractional-order plays an important role in a hot QCD medium in the 3D and higher-dimensional space.

Trigonometric Rosen-Morse Potential as the Quark-Antiquark Interaction Potential for Meson Properties in the Non-Relativistic Quark Model Using EAIM

Trigonometric Rosen-Morse potential is suggested as the quark-antiquark interaction potential for studying the thermodynamic properties and the masses of heavy and heavy-light mesons. For this purpose, N-radial Schrodinger equation is analytically solved using an exact analytical iteration method (EAIM). The eigenvalues of energy and corresponding wave functions are obtained in the N-dimensional space. The present results are applied for calculating the mass of heavy mesons such as charmonium, bottomonium, bc, and cs mesons and thermodynamic properties such as the mean-internal energy, the specific heat, the free energy, and the entropy. The effect of dimensional number is studied on the meson masses. A comparison is studied with other works and experimental data. The present potential provides satisfying results in comparison with other works and experimental data.

Heavy Quarkonia and Bc-Mesons in the Cornell Potential with Harmonic Oscillator Potential in the N-dimensional Schrodinger Equation

Heavy quarkonia, Bc-meson, and CS-meson masses are calculated within the framework of the N-dimensional radial Schrodinger equation. The Cornell potential is extended by including the harmonic oscillator potential. The energy eigenvalues and the corresponding wave functions are calculated in the N-dimensional space using the Nikiforov-Uvarov (NV) method. The energy eigenvalues are obtained in the three-dimensional space. The mass of spectra of charmonium, bottomonium, and mesons are calculated. The effect of dimensionality number on the mass of quarkonium is investigated. A comparison with other theoretical approaches is discussed. The obtained results are in good agreement with experimental data. We conclude that the dimensionality number plays an important role in studying the spectra of quarkonium masses. The modified Cornell potential provides a good description of the spectra of quarkonium masses.

Analytic Solution of Dirac Equation for Extended Cornell Potential Using the Nikiforov-Uvarov Method

The extended Cornell potential which the harmonic oscillator potential is included in the original Cornell potential. The Dirac equation is solved by reducing the Dirac equation to the form of Schrodinger equation. The Nikiforov-Uvarov method is applied to obtain the energy eigenvalues and corresponding wave functions. The obtained results are important to calculate many characteristics of fermion relativistic particles.

Ground States of the Hydrogen Molecule and Its Molecular Ion in the Presence of Magnetic Field Using the Variational Monte Carlo Method

By Using the variational Monte Carlo (VMC) method, we calculate the 1sσ_g state energies, the dissociation energies and the binding energies of the hydrogen molecule and its molecular ion in the presence of an aligned magnetic field regime between 0 a.u. and 10 a.u. The present calculations are based on using two types of compact and accurate trial wave functions, which are put forward for consideration in calculating energies in the absence of magnetic field. The obtained results are compared with the most recent accurate values. We conclude that the applications of VMC method can be extended successfully to cover the case of molecules under the effect of the magnetic field.

Nucleon Properties at Finite Temperature in the Extended Quark-Sigma Model

Hadron properties are studied at hot medium using the quark sigma model. The quark sigma model is extended to include eighth-order of mesonic interactions based on some aspects of quantum chromodynamic (QCD) theory. The extended effective potential tends to the original effective potential when the coupling between the higher order mesonic interactions equal to zero. The field equations have been solved in the mean-field approximation by using the extended iteration method. We found that the nucleon mass increases with increasing temperature and the magnetic moments of proton and neutron increase with increasing temperature. A comparison is presented with recent previous works and other models. We conclude that higher-order mesonic interactions play an important role in changing the behavior of nucleon properties at finite temperature. In addition, the deconfinement phase transition is satisfied in the present model.

Nucleon Properties in the Quantized Linear Sigma Model at Finite Temperature and Chemical Potential

The linear sigma model at finite temperature and chemical potential is systematically studied using the coherent-pair approximation, in which fully taking quantum of fields are included. The expectation value of the chiral Hamiltonian density is minimized and the resulting equations for the nucleon are solved. The qualitative features of the quantized sigma and pion fields are strong sensitive to the change of temperature and baryonic chemical potential and are in agreement with the mean-field approximation calculations. It is noticed that the nucleon mass increases with increasing coherence parameter. In addition, the nucleon mass increases with increasing temperature and the baryonic chemical potential and then it decreases at higher values of the temperature and baryonic chemical potential. The obtained results show that the mean-square radius of the proton and the neutron increase with increasing temperature or the baryonic chemical potential and that the pion-nucleon coupling constant decreases with the temperature or chemical potential. We conclude that the coherent-pair approximation successfully give better description of the nucleon properties at finite temperature and baryonic chemical potential

Linear Sigma Model at Finite Temperature and Baryonic Chemical Potential Using the Midpoint Technique

A baryonic chemical potential is included in the linear sigma model at finite temperature. The effective mesonic potential is numerically calculated using the midpoint technique. The meson masses are investigated as functions of the temperature at fixed value of baryonic chemical potential. The pressure and energy density are investigated as functions of temperature at fixed value of chemical potential. The obtained results are in good agreement in comparison with other techniques. We conclude that the calculated effective potential successfully predicts the meson properties and thermodynamic properties at finite baryonic chemical potential.

Improved Nucleon Properties in the Extended Quark Sigma Model

The quark sigma model describes the quarks interacting via exchange the pions and sigma meson fields. A new version of mesonic potential is suggested in the frame of some aspects of the quantum chromodynamics (QCD). The field equations have been solved in the mean-field approximation for the hedgehog baryon state. The obtained results are compared with previous works and other models. We conclude that the suggested mesonic potential successfully calculates nucleon properties.

The effect of higher-order mesonic interactions on the chiral phase transition and the critical temperature

In the present work, higher-order mesonic interactions are included in the linear sigma model at a finite temperature. The effective potential is minimized in the calculations of the sigma and pion effective masses. The field equations have been solved in the mean-field approximation, by using the extended iteration method at a finite temperature. The order of chiral phase transition, the effective sigma and pion masses, and the effective mesonic potential are investigated as functions of the temperature. We find that the chiral phase transition satisfies the Goldstone theorem below the critical temperature point, when the minimization condition is satisfied in the chiral limit. The value of the critical temperature is reduced as compared with that of the original model in agreement with lattice QCD results. The modified model is compared to with models in other works.

A New Technique for the Calculation of Effective Mesonic Potential at Finite Temperature in the Logarithmic Quark-Sigma Model

The logarithmic sigma model describes the interactions between quarks via sigma and pion exchanges. The effective mesonic potential is extended to the finite temperature and it is numerically calculated using n-midpoint rule. Meson properties such as the phase transition, the sigma and pion masses, and the critical point temperature are examined as functions of temperature. The obtained results are compared with other approaches. We conclude that the calculated effective potential is successfully to predict the meson properties

Hadron Properties in a Chiral Quark-Sigma Model

Within a chiral quark sigma model in which quarks interact via the exchange of sigma and pi-mesons, hadron properties are investigated. This model of the nucleon and delta is based on the idea that strong QCD forces on very short distances (a small length scales 0.2- 1 fm) result in hidden chiral SU(2)xSU(2) symmetry and that there is a separation of roles between these forces which are responsible for binding quarks in hadrons and the forces which produce absolute confinement. We have solved the field equations in the mean field approximation for the hedgehog baryon state with different sets of model parameters. A new parametrization which well describe the nucleon properties has been introduced and compared with experimental data.
